אֱלֹהִים אַל-דֳּמִי-לָךְ; אַל-תֶּחֱרַשׁ וְאַל-תִּשְׁקֹט אֵל.
Elohim al-domi-lakh; al-tekherash ve'al-tishkot el.
O God, keep not Thou silence; hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God.
3.
כִּי-הִנֵּה אוֹיְבֶיךָ, יֶהֱמָיוּן; וּמְשַׂנְאֶיךָ, נָשְׂאוּ רֹאשׁ.
ki-hineh oyvekha, yehemiyun; umesn'ekha, nas'u rosh.
For, lo, Thine enemies are in an uproar; and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head.
4.
עַל-עַמְּךָ, יַעֲרִימוּ סוֹד; וְיִתְיָעֲצוּ, עַל-צְפוּנֶיךָ.
'al-'amkha, ya'arimu sod; veyityatzu, 'al-tzafunekha.
They hold crafty converse against Thy people, and take counsel against Thy treasured ones.

אָמְרוּ--לְכוּ, וְנַכְחִידֵם מִגּוֹי; וְלֹא-יִזָּכֵר שֵׁם-יִשְׂרָאֵל עוֹד.
amru--lekhu, venakhkhidem migoy; velo-yizakher shem-yisrael 'od.
They have said: 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.'

כִּי נוֹעֲצוּ לֵב יַחְדָּו; עָלֶיךָ, בְּרִית יִכְרֹתוּ.
ki no'atzu lev yakhdav; 'alekha, berit yikhrotu.
For they have consulted together with one consent; against Thee do they make a covenant;
7.
אָהֳלֵי אֱדוֹם, וְיִשְׁמְעֵאלִים; מוֹאָב וְהַגְרִים.
ohaley edom, veyishme'elim; mo'av vehagrim.
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
8.
גְּבָל וְעַמּוֹן, וַעֲמָלֵק; פְּלֶשֶׁת, עִם-יֹשְׁבֵי צוֹר.
Geval ve'amon, va'amalek; peleshet, im-yoshvei tzor.
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

גַּם-אַשּׁוּר, נִלְוָה עִמָּם; הָיוּ זְרוֹעַ לִבְנֵי-לוֹט סֶלָה.
Gam-ashur, nilvah imam; hayu zeroa livnei-lot selah.
Assyria also is joined with them; they have been an arm to the children of Lot. Selah

עֲשֵׂה-לָהֶם כְּמִדְיָן; כְּסִיסְרָא כְיָבִין, בְּנַחַל קִישׁוֹן.
Aseh-lahem kemidyan; kesisra kheyavin, benakhal kishon.
Do Thou unto them as unto Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook Kishon;
11.
נִשְׁמְדוּ בְעֵין-דֹּאר; הָיוּ דֹּמֶן, לָאֲדָמָה.
Nishmedu ve'ein-dor; hayu domen, la'adamah.
Who were destroyed at En-dor; they became as dung for the earth.
12.
שִׁיתֵמוֹ נְדִיבֵימוֹ, כְּעֹרֵב וְכִזְאֵב; וּכְזֶבַח וּכְצַלְמֻנָּע, כָּל-נְסִיכֵימוֹ.
shitemo nedivemo, ke'orev vekhizev; ukhzevakh ukhtsalmunna, kol-nesikhemo.
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and like Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes;
13.
אֲשֶׁר אָמְרוּ, נִירְשָׁה לָּנוּ-- אֵת, נְאוֹת אֱלֹהִים.
asher amru, nirshah lanu-- et, ne'ot Elohim.
Who said: 'Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitations of God.'
14.
אֱלֹהַי, שִׁיתֵמוֹ כַגַּלְגַּל; כְּקַשׁ, לִפְנֵי-רוּחַ.
Elohay, shitemo kagallgal; kekash, lifnei-ruakh.
O my God, make them like the whirling dust; as stubble before the wind.
15.
כְּאֵשׁ תִּבְעַר-יָעַר; וּכְלֶהָבָה, תְּלַהֵט הָרִים.
ke'esh tiv'ar-ya'ar; ukhlehavah, telahet harim.
As the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains ablaze;
16.
כֵּן, תִּרְדְּפֵם בְּסַעֲרֶךָ; וּבְסוּפָתְךָ תְבַהֲלֵם.
Ken, tirdefem besa'arekha; uvezufatkha tevahalem.
So pursue them with Thy tempest, and affright them with Thy storm.
17.
מַלֵּא פְנֵיהֶם קָלוֹן; וִיבַקְשׁוּ שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה.
malle fenehem kalon; viyvakshu shimkha YHWH.
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Thy name, O LORD.
18.
יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ עֲדֵי-עַד; וְיַחְפְּרוּ וְיֹאבֵדוּ.
yevoshu veyivahalu adei-ad; veyakḥperu veyo'vedu.
Let them be ashamed and affrighted for ever; yea, let them be abashed and perish;
19.
וְיֵדְעוּ-- כִּי-אַתָּה שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה לְבַדֶּךָ:עֶלְיוֹן, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ.
veyede'u-- ki-attah shimkha YHWH levadekha: elyon, al-kol-ha'aretz.
That they may know that it is Thou alone whose name is the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
