2.
שִׁמְעָה אֱלֹהִים, רִנָּתִי; הַקְשִׁיבָה, תְּפִלָּתִי.
shim'ah Elohim, rinati; hakshivah, tfilati.
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
3.
מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ, אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא-- בַּעֲטֹף לִבִּי;בְּצוּר-יָרוּם מִמֶּנִּי תַנְחֵנִי.
miqtzeh ha'aretz, eleiha eqra-- ba'atof libi; betzur-yarum mimeni tanheni.
From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.
4.
כִּי-הָיִיתָ מַחְסֶה לִי; מִגְדַּל-עֹז, מִפְּנֵי אוֹיֵב.
ki-hayita mahseh li; migdal-oz, mipnei oyev.
For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.
5.
אָגוּרָה בְאָהָלְךָ, עוֹלָמִים; אֶחֱסֶה בְסֵתֶר כְּנָפֶיךָ סֶּלָה.
agurah ve'ohalcha, olamim; eheseh veseter kenafeycha selah.
I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. Selah
6.
כִּי-אַתָּה אֱלֹהִים, שָׁמַעְתָּ לִנְדָרָי; נָתַתָּ יְרֻשַּׁת, יִרְאֵי שְׁמֶךָ.
ki-atah Elohim, shama'ta lindaray; natata yerushat, yir'ei shemecha.
For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.
7.
יָמִים עַל-יְמֵי-מֶלֶךְ תּוֹסִיף; שְׁנוֹתָיו, כְּמוֹ-דֹר וָדֹר.
yamim al-yemei melekh tosif shenotav kmo-dor vador
Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!
8.
יֵשֵׁב עוֹלָם, לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים; חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת, מַן יִנְצְרֻהוּ.
yeshev olam lifnei Elohim chesed ve'emet man yintzruhu
May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.
9.
כֵּן אֲזַמְּרָה שִׁמְךָ לָעַד-- לְשַׁלְּמִי נְדָרַי, יוֹם יוֹם.
ken azamrah shimkha la'ad leshalmi nedaray yom yom
So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
