1.
תְּהִלָּה, לְדָוִד:אֲרוֹמִמְךָ אֱלוֹהַי הַמֶּלֶךְ; וַאֲבָרְכָה שִׁמְךָ, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
Tehillah, ledavid: aromimkha Elohai hamelekh; va'avarkhah shimkha, le'olam va'ed.
[A Psalm of] praise; of David. I will extol Thee, my God, O King; and I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.
2.
בְּכָל-יוֹם אֲבָרְכֶךָּ; וַאֲהַלְלָה שִׁמְךָ, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
bekhol-yom avarekhekha; va'ahalelah shimkha, le'olam va'ed.
Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.
3.
גָּדוֹל יְהוָה וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד; וְלִגְדֻלָּתוֹ, אֵין חֵקֶר.
gadol YHWH umehullal me'od; veligdullato, ein kheker.
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.
4.
דּוֹר לְדוֹר, יְשַׁבַּח מַעֲשֶׂיךָ; וּגְבוּרֹתֶיךָ יַגִּידוּ.
dor ledor, yeshabakh ma'aseykha; ugevuroteykha yaggidu.
One generation shall laud Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts.
5.
הֲדַר, כְּבוֹד הוֹדֶךָ-- וְדִבְרֵי נִפְלְאֹתֶיךָ אָשִׂיחָה.
Hadar, kevod hodekha-- vedivrei nifle'otekha ashikhah.
The glorious splendour of Thy majesty, and Thy wondrous works, will I rehearse.
6.
וֶעֱזוּז נוֹרְאֹתֶיךָ יֹאמֵרוּ; וגדלותיך וּגְדֻלָּתְךָ אֲסַפְּרֶנָּה.
ve'ezuz nora'otekha yomeru; ugdulatkha asaperennah.
And men shall speak of the might of Thy tremendous acts; and I will tell of Thy greatness.
7.
זֵכֶר רַב-טוּבְךָ יַבִּיעוּ; וְצִדְקָתְךָ יְרַנֵּנוּ.
zeker rav-tuvkha yabiu; vetsidkatkha yeranenu.
They shall utter the fame of Thy great goodness, and shall sing of Thy righteousness.
8.
חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם יְהוָה; אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם, וּגְדָל-חָסֶד.
khanun verakhum YHWH, erekh apayim, ugdal-khased.
The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9.
טוֹב-יְהוָה לַכֹּל; וְרַחֲמָיו, עַל-כָּל-מַעֲשָׂיו.
Tov-YHWH lakol; verakhamav, al-kol-ma'asav.
The LORD is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.
10.
יוֹדוּךָ יְהוָה, כָּל-מַעֲשֶׂיךָ; וַחֲסִידֶיךָ, יְבָרְכוּכָה.
Yodukha YHWH, kol-ma'aseykha; vakhasideykha, yevarukhukha.
All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD; and Thy saints shall bless Thee.
11.
כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתְךָ יֹאמֵרוּ; וּגְבוּרָתְךָ יְדַבֵּרוּ.
Kevod malkhutkha yomeru; ugevuratkha yedaberu.
They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy might;
12.
לְהוֹדִיעַ, לִבְנֵי הָאָדָם--גְּבוּרֹתָיו; וּכְבוֹד, הֲדַר מַלְכוּתוֹ.
Lehodia, livnei ha'adam--gevurotav; ukevod, hadar malkhuto.
To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of His kingdom.
13.
מַלְכוּתְךָ, מַלְכוּת כָּל-עֹלָמִים; וּמֶמְשַׁלְתְּךָ, בְּכָל-דּוֹר וָדֹר.
malkhutkha, malkhut kol-olamim; umemsheltakha, bekhal-dor vador.
Thy kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14.
סוֹמֵךְ יְהוָה, לְכָל-הַנֹּפְלִים; וְזוֹקֵף, לְכָל-הַכְּפוּפִים.
somekh YHWH, lekhal-hannoflim; vezokef, lekhal-hakhefufim.
The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
15.
עֵינֵי-כֹל, אֵלֶיךָ יְשַׂבֵּרוּ; וְאַתָּה נוֹתֵן-לָהֶם אֶת-אָכְלָם בְּעִתּוֹ.
einei-khol, eilekha yesaberu; ve'atah noten-lahem et-okhlam be'ito.
The eyes of all wait for Thee, and Thou givest them their food in due season.
16.
פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת-יָדֶךָ; וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל-חַי רָצוֹן.
poteach et-yadekha; umasvia lekhal-chai ratzon.
Thou openest Thy hand, and satisfiest every living thing with favour.
17.
צַדִּיק יְהוָה, בְּכָל-דְּרָכָיו; וְחָסִיד, בְּכָל-מַעֲשָׂיו.
Tzadik YHWH, bekhol-derakhav; ve'khasid, bekhol-ma'asav.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and gracious in all His works.
18.
קָרוֹב יְהוָה, לְכָל-קֹרְאָיו-- לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאֻהוּ בֶאֱמֶת.
Karov YHWH, lekhol-kor'av-- lekhol asher yikra'uhu ve'emet.
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.
19.
רְצוֹן-יְרֵאָיו יַעֲשֶׂה; וְאֶת-שַׁוְעָתָם יִשְׁמַע, וְיוֹשִׁיעֵם.
Retzon-yere'av ya'aseh; ve'et-shav'atam yishma, ve'yoshi'em.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20.
שׁוֹמֵר יְהוָה, אֶת-כָּל-אֹהֲבָיו; וְאֵת כָּל-הָרְשָׁעִים יַשְׁמִיד.
Shomer YHWH, et-kol-ohavav; ve'et kol-ha'resha'im yashmid.
The LORD preserveth all them that love Him; but all the wicked will He destroy.
21.
תְּהִלַּת יְהוָה, יְדַבֶּר-פִּי: וִיבָרֵךְ כָּל-בָּשָׂר, שֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ--לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
Tehillat YHWH yedaber pi veyevarekh kol basar shem kodsho le'olam va'ed.
My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; and let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.
