הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה כִּי-טוֹב: כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ.
hodu laYHWH ki-tov ki le'olam chasdo.
'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'

יֹאמַר-נָא יִשְׂרָאֵל: כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ.
yo'mar-na yisrael: ki le'olam khasdo.
So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever,

יֹאמְרוּ-נָא בֵית-אַהֲרֹן: כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ.
yo'mru-na veyt-aharon: ki le'olam khasdo.
So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
4.
יֹאמְרוּ-נָא יִרְאֵי יְהוָה: כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ.
yo'mru-na yir'ei YHWH: ki le'olam khasdo.
So let them now that fear the LORD say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
5.
מִן-הַמֵּצַר, קָרָאתִי יָּהּ; עָנָנִי בַמֶּרְחָב יָהּ.
min-hametzar, karati yah; 'anani vamerkhav yah.
Out of my straits I called upon the LORD; He answered me with great enlargement.
6.
יְהוָה לִי, לֹא אִירָא; מַה-יַּעֲשֶׂה לִי אָדָם.
Adonai li, lo ira; mah-ya'aseh li adam.
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
7.
יְהוָה לִי, בְּעֹזְרָי; וַאֲנִי, אֶרְאֶה בְשֹׂנְאָי.
Adonai li, be'ozray; va'ani, er'eh veson'ay.
The LORD is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me.
8.
טוֹב, לַחֲסוֹת בַּיהוָה-- מִבְּטֹחַ, בָּאָדָם.
Tov, lakhasot baAdonai-- mibbetokha, ba'adam.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
9.
טוֹב, לַחֲסוֹת בַּיהוָה-- מִבְּטֹחַ, בִּנְדִיבִים.
Tov, lakhasot baAdonai-- mibbetokha, binedivim.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
10.
כָּל-גּוֹיִם סְבָבוּנִי; בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה, כִּי אֲמִילַם.
kal-goyim sevavuni; beshem YHWH, ki amilam.
All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
11.
סַבּוּנִי גַם-סְבָבוּנִי; בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה, כִּי אֲמִילַם.
sabuni gam-sevavuni; beshem YHWH, ki amilam.
They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
12.
סַבּוּנִי כִדְבוֹרִים-- דֹּעֲכוּ, כְּאֵשׁ קוֹצִים;בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה, כִּי אֲמִילַם.
sabuni khdevorim-- do'akhu, khe'esh kotzim; beshem YHWH, ki amilam.
They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
13.
דַּחֹה דְחִיתַנִי לִנְפֹּל; וַיהוָה עֲזָרָנִי.
dakho dekhitani linpol; vaYHWH 'azarani.
Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but the LORD helped me.
14.
עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ; וַיְהִי-לִי, לִישׁוּעָה.
'azzi vezimrat yah; vayhi-li, lishu'ah.
The LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.
15.
קוֹל, רִנָּה וִישׁוּעָה--בְּאָהֳלֵי צַדִּיקִים; יְמִין יְהוָה, עֹשָׂה חָיִל.
kol, rinnah vishu'ah--be'ohalei tzaddikim; yemin YHWH, 'osah chayil.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
16.
יְמִין יְהוָה, רוֹמֵמָה; יְמִין יְהוָה, עֹשָׂה חָיִל.
yemin YHWH, romemah; yemin YHWH, 'osah chayil.
The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
17.
לֹא-אָמוּת כִּי-אֶחְיֶה; וַאֲסַפֵּר, מַעֲשֵׂי יָהּ.
lo-'amut ki-'echyeh; va'asapper, ma'aseh yah.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18.
יַסֹּר יִסְּרַנִּי יָּהּ; וְלַמָּוֶת, לֹא נְתָנָנִי.
Yassor yisseranni Yah; vela-mavet lo netanani.
The LORD hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death.
19.
פִּתְחוּ-לִי שַׁעֲרֵי-צֶדֶק; אָבֹא-בָם, אוֹדֶה יָהּ.
Pitkhu-li sha'arei-tzedek; avo-vam, odeh Yah.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.
20.
זֶה-הַשַּׁעַר לַיהוָה; צַדִּיקִים, יָבֹאוּ בוֹ.
Zeh-hasha'ar la-Adonai; tzaddikim, yavo'u vo.
This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.
21.
אוֹדְךָ, כִּי עֲנִיתָנִי; וַתְּהִי-לִי, לִישׁוּעָה.
Odcha ki anitani; vatehi-li, lishu'ah.
I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
22.
אֶבֶן, מָאֲסוּ הַבּוֹנִים-- הָיְתָה, לְרֹאשׁ פִּנָּה.
even ma'asu habonim haytah l'rosh pinnah.
The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
23.
מֵאֵת יְהוָה, הָיְתָה זֹּאת; הִיא נִפְלָאת בְּעֵינֵינוּ.
me'et YHWH haytah zot hi niflat b'eineinu.
This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24.
זֶה-הַיּוֹם, עָשָׂה יְהוָה; נָגִילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָה בוֹ.
zeh-hayom asah YHWH nagilah v'nismechah bo.
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25.
אָנָּא יְהוָה, הוֹשִׁיעָה נָּא; אָנָּא יְהוָה, הַצְלִיחָה נָּא.
ana YHWH hoshiah na ana YHWH hatzlichah na.
We beseech Thee, O LORD, save now! We beseech Thee, O LORD, make us now to prosper!
26.
בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא, בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה; בֵּרַכְנוּכֶם, מִבֵּית יְהוָה.
Barukh haba, beshem YHWH; berakhnukhem, mibeit YHWH.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD; we bless you out of the house of the LORD.
27.
אֵל, יְהוָה--וַיָּאֶר-לָנוּ: אִסְרוּ-חַג בַּעֲבֹתִים--עַד קַרְנוֹת, הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.
El, YHWH -- vaya'er-lanu: isru-khag ba'avotim -- ad karnot, hamizbe'akh.
The LORD is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
28.
אֵלִי אַתָּה וְאוֹדֶךָּ; אֱלֹהַי, אֲרוֹמְמֶךָּ.
Eli attah ve'odekha; elohay, aromemekha.
Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.
29.
הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה כִּי-טוֹב: כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ.
Hodu laYHWH ki-tov: ki le'olam khasdo.
O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.
