3.עוּרָה, הַנֵּבֶל וְכִנּוֹר; אָעִירָה שָּׁחַר.Urah, hanevel vekhinnor; a'irah shakhar.Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.
4.אוֹדְךָ בָעַמִּים יְהוָה; וַאֲזַמֶּרְךָ, בַּלְאֻמִּים.Od'kha va'ammim YHWH; va'azammerkha, bal'ummim.I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations.
5.כִּי-גָדוֹל מֵעַל-שָׁמַיִם חַסְדֶּךָ; וְעַד-שְׁחָקִים אֲמִתֶּךָ.ki-gadol me'al-shamayim khasdecha; ve'ad-shechakim amittecha.For Thy mercy is great above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the skies.
6.רוּמָה עַל-שָׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים; וְעַל כָּל-הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶךָ.rumah al-shamayim Elohim; ve'al kol-ha'aretz kevodecha.Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and Thy glory be above all the earth.
7.לְמַעַן, יֵחָלְצוּן יְדִידֶיךָ; הוֹשִׁיעָה יְמִינְךָ וַעֲנֵנִי.lema'an, ye-chaltsun yedidecha; hoshi'ah yimincha va'aneni.That Thy beloved may be delivered, save with Thy right hand, and answer me.
8.אֱלֹהִים, דִּבֶּר בְּקָדְשׁוֹ--אֶעְלֹזָה: אֲחַלְּקָה שְׁכֶם; וְעֵמֶק סֻכּוֹת אֲמַדֵּד.Elohim, dibber bekodsho--e'loza: achallekah shechem; ve'emek sukkot amadded.God spoke in His holiness, that I would exult; that I would divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
9.לִי גִלְעָד, לִי מְנַשֶּׁה, וְאֶפְרַיִם, מָעוֹז רֹאשִׁי; יְהוּדָה, מְחֹקְקִי.li gil'ad, li menasheh, ve'efrayim, ma'oz roshi; yehudah, mekhokeki.Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.
10.מוֹאָב, סִיר רַחְצִי--עַל-אֱדוֹם, אַשְׁלִיךְ נַעֲלִי; עֲלֵי-פְלֶשֶׁת, אֶתְרוֹעָע.mo'av, sir rakhtsi--al-edom, ashlikh na'ali; alei-fleshet, etro'a.Moab is my washpot; upon Edom do I cast my shoe; over Philistia do I cry aloud.
11.מִי יֹבִלֵנִי, עִיר מִבְצָר; מִי נָחַנִי עַד-אֱדוֹם.mi yobileni, ir mivtsar; mi nakhani ad-edom.Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me unto Edom?
12.הֲלֹא-אֱלֹהִים זְנַחְתָּנוּ; וְלֹא-תֵצֵא אֱלֹהִים, בְּצִבְאֹתֵינוּ.Halo-Elohim zenakhtanu; ve'lo-tetze Elohim, betziv'oteinu.Hast not Thou cast us off, O God? and Thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts?
13.הָבָה-לָּנוּ עֶזְרָת מִצָּר; וְשָׁוְא, תְּשׁוּעַת אָדָם.havah-lanu ezrat mitzar; ve'shav, tshu'at adam.Give us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man.
14.בֵּאלֹהִים נַעֲשֶׂה-חָיִל; וְהוּא, יָבוּס צָרֵינוּ.be'Elohim na'aseh-khayil; vehu, yavus tsareinu.Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
