לְדָוִד, מִזְמוֹר: חֶסֶד-וּמִשְׁפָּט אָשִׁירָה; לְךָ יְהוָה אֲזַמֵּרָה.
ledavid mizmor chesed umishpat ashirah lekha YHWH azamerah.
A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.

אַשְׂכִּילָה, בְּדֶרֶךְ תָּמִים-- מָתַי, תָּבוֹא אֵלָי;אֶתְהַלֵּךְ בְּתָם-לְבָבִי, בְּקֶרֶב בֵּיתִי.
ashkilah, bederekh tamim-- matay, tavo elay; ethallekh betam-levavi, bekerev beyti.
I will give heed unto the way of integrity; oh when wilt Thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

לֹא-אָשִׁית, לְנֶגֶד עֵינַי-- דְּבַר-בְּלִיָּעַל:עֲשֹׂה-סֵטִים שָׂנֵאתִי; לֹא יִדְבַּק בִּי.
lo-ashit, leneged enay-- devar-beliyala: asoh-setim sane'ti; lo yidbak bi.
I will set no base thing before mine eyes; I hate the doing of things crooked; it shall not cleave unto me.

לֵבָב עִקֵּשׁ, יָסוּר מִמֶּנִּי; רָע, לֹא אֵדָע.
levav ikesh, yasur mimenni; ra, lo eda.
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil thing.

מלושני מְלָשְׁנִי בַסֵּתֶר, רֵעֵהוּ-- אוֹתוֹ אַצְמִית:גְּבַהּ-עֵינַיִם, וּרְחַב לֵבָב-- אֹתוֹ, לֹא אוּכָל.
meloshni vaseter, re'ehu-- oto atzmit: gevah-enayim, urekhav levav-- oto, lo ukhal.
Whoso slandereth his neighbour in secret, him will I destroy; whoso is haughty of eye and proud of heart, him will I not suffer.
6.
עֵינַי, בְּנֶאֶמְנֵי-אֶרֶץ-- לָשֶׁבֶת עִמָּדִי:הֹלֵךְ, בְּדֶרֶךְ תָּמִים-- הוּא, יְשָׁרְתֵנִי.
einay, bene'emnei-eretz-- lashevet immadi: holekh, b'derekh tamim-- hu, yisharteni.
Mine eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a way of integrity, he shall minister unto me.

לֹא-יֵשֵׁב, בְּקֶרֶב בֵּיתִי-- עֹשֵׂה רְמִיָּה:דֹּבֵר שְׁקָרִים-- לֹא-יִכּוֹן, לְנֶגֶד עֵינָי.
lo-yeshev, b'kerev beyti-- oseh r'miyah: dover sh'karim-- lo-yikhon, l'neged einay.
He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.
8.
לַבְּקָרִים, אַצְמִית כָּל-רִשְׁעֵי-אָרֶץ;לְהַכְרִית מֵעִיר-יְהוָה, כָּל-פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן.
lab'karim, atzmit kol-rish'ei-eretz; l'hakhrit me'ir-YHWH, kol-po'alei aven.
Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
