בֵּן חָכָם, מוּסַר אָב; וְלֵץ, לֹא-שָׁמַע גְּעָרָה.
பேன் ஹாகாம் மூஸார் ஆவ் வலெட்ஸ் லோ ஷாமா கெஆரா
A wise son is instructed of his father; but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

2.
מִפְּרִי פִי-אִישׁ, יֹאכַל טוֹב; וְנֶפֶשׁ בֹּגְדִים חָמָס.
மிப்ப்ரீ ஃபீ ஈஷ் யோகால் தோவ் வெநெஃபெஷ் போக்தீம் ஹாமாஸ்
A man shall eat good from the fruit of his mouth; but the desire of the faithless is violence.
3.
נֹצֵר פִּיו, שֹׁמֵר נַפְשׁוֹ; פֹּשֵׂק שְׂפָתָיו, מְחִתָּה-לוֹ.
நோட்சேர் பீவ் ஷோமேர் நாஃப்ஷோ போஸேக் ஸ்பாதாவ் மெஹித்தா லோ
He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; but for him that openeth wide his lips there shall be ruin.
4.
מִתְאַוָּה וָאַיִן, נַפְשׁוֹ עָצֵל; וְנֶפֶשׁ חָרֻצִים תְּדֻשָּׁן.
மித்அவ்வா வாயின் நாஃப்ஷோ ஆத்சேல் வெநெஃபெஷ் ஹருத்சீம் தெதுஷ்ஷான்
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be abundantly gratified.
5.
דְּבַר-שֶׁקֶר, יִשְׂנָא צַדִּיק; וְרָשָׁע, יַבְאִישׁ וְיַחְפִּיר.
தவார் ஷெகெர் யிஸ்னா த்சத்தீக் வெராஷா யவ்ஈஷ் வெயஹ்பீர்
A righteous man hateth lying; but a wicked man behaveth vilely and shamefully.
6.
צְדָקָה, תִּצֹּר תָּם-דָּרֶךְ; וְרִשְׁעָה, תְּסַלֵּף חַטָּאת.
த்சதாகா தித்சோர் தாம் தாரெக் வெரிஷ்ஆ தெஸல்லேஃப் ஹத்தாத்
Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7.
יֵשׁ מִתְעַשֵּׁר, וְאֵין כֹּל; מִתְרוֹשֵׁשׁ, וְהוֹן רָב.
யேஷ் மித்அஷேர் வேயீன் கோல் மித்ரோஷேஷ் வெஹோன் ராவ்
There is that pretendeth himself rich, yet hath nothing; there is that pretendeth himself poor, yet hath great wealth.
8.
כֹּפֶר נֶפֶשׁ-אִישׁ עָשְׁרוֹ; וְרָשׁ, לֹא-שָׁמַע גְּעָרָה.
கோஃபெர் நெஃபெஷ் ஈஷ் ஒஷ்ரோ வெராஷ் லோ ஷாமா கெஆரா
The ransom of a man's life are his riches; but the poor heareth no threatening.
9.
אוֹר-צַדִּיקִים יִשְׂמָח; וְנֵר רְשָׁעִים יִדְעָךְ.
ஓர் த்சத்தீகீம் யிஸ்மாஹ் வெனேர் ரெஷாயீம் யித்ஆக்
The light of the righteous rejoiceth; but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
10.
רַק-בְּזָדוֹן, יִתֵּן מַצָּה; וְאֶת-נוֹעָצִים חָכְמָה.
ராக் பெசாதோன் யித்தேன் மாத்சா வெஎத் நோஅத்சீம் ஹாக்மா
By pride cometh only contention; but with the well-advised is wisdom.
11.
הוֹן, מֵהֶבֶל יִמְעָט; וְקֹבֵץ עַל-יָד יַרְבֶּה.
ஹோன் மேஹெவெல் யிம்ஆட் வெகோவேட்ஸ் அல் யாத் யர்பெஹ்
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished; but he that gathereth little by little shall increase.
12.
תּוֹחֶלֶת מְמֻשָּׁכָה, מַחֲלָה-לֵב; וְעֵץ חַיִּים, תַּאֲוָה בָאָה.
தோஹெலெத் மெமுஷாகா மஹலா லேவ் வெஏட்ஸ் ஹாயீம் தாவா பாஆ
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
13.
בָּז לְדָבָר, יֵחָבֶל לוֹ; וִירֵא מִצְוָה, הוּא יְשֻׁלָּם.
பாஸ் லெதாவார் யேஹாவெல் லோ வயீரே மிட்ஸ்வா ஹூ யெஷுல்லாம்
Whoso despiseth the word shall suffer thereby; but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14.
תּוֹרַת חָכָם, מְקוֹר חַיִּים-- לָסוּר, מִמֹּקְשֵׁי מָוֶת.
தோரத் ஹாகாம் மெகோர் ஹாயீம் லாசூர் மிம்மொகஷே மாவெத்
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
15.
שֵׂכֶל-טוֹב, יִתֶּן-חֵן; וְדֶרֶךְ בֹּגְדִים אֵיתָן.
சேகெல் தோவ் யிெத்தென் ஹேன் வெடெரெக் போக்திம் ஏதான்
Good understanding giveth grace; but the way of the faithless is harsh.
16.
כָּל-עָרוּם, יַעֲשֶׂה בְדָעַת; וּכְסִיל, יִפְרֹשׂ אִוֶּלֶת.
கொல் அரூம் யாஅஸெஹ் வெதாஅத் உகசீல் யிப்ரோஸ் இவெல்லெத்
Every prudent man dealeth with forethought; but a fool unfoldeth folly.
17.
מַלְאָךְ רָשָׁע, יִפֹּל בְּרָע; וְצִיר אֱמוּנִים מַרְפֵּא.
மல்ஆக் ராஷா யிப்போல் பெரா வெட்சிய்ர் எமுனீம் மர்பே
A wicked messenger falleth into evil; but a faithful ambassador is health.
18.
רֵישׁ וְקָלוֹן, פּוֹרֵעַ מוּסָר; וְשֹׁמֵר תּוֹכַחַת יְכֻבָּד.
ரேஷ் வெகலோன் போரேஆ மூஸார் வெஷோமேர் தோகஹெத் யெகுப்பத்
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction; but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19.
תַּאֲוָה נִהְיָה, תֶּעֱרַב לְנָפֶשׁ; וְתוֹעֲבַת כְּסִילִים, סוּר מֵרָע.
தாவா நிஹ்யா தேஅரவ் லெநாபெஷ் வெதோஅவத் கெஸிலீம் சூர் மேரா
The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; and it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20.
הלוך הוֹלֵךְ אֶת-חֲכָמִים וחכם יֶחְכָּם; וְרֹעֶה כְסִילִים יֵרוֹעַ.
ஹோலேக் எத் ஹகாமீம் வெஹகாம் யெஹ்காம் வேரோஎஹ் கெஸிலீம் யேரோஆ
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but the companion of fools shall smart for it.
21.
חַטָּאִים, תְּרַדֵּף רָעָה; וְאֶת-צַדִּיקִים, יְשַׁלֶּם-טוֹב.
ஹத்தாயீம் தெரத்தெப் ராஆ வெஎத் த்ஸத்திக்கீம் யெஷல்லெம் தோவ்
Evil pursueth sinners; but to the righteous good shall be repaid.
22.
טוֹב--יַנְחִיל בְּנֵי-בָנִים; וְצָפוּן לַצַּדִּיק, חֵיל חוֹטֵא.
தோவ் யன்ஹீல் பெனே வானீம் வெட்சாபூன் லாட்சத்தீக் ஹேல் ஹோதே
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
23.
רָב-אֹכֶל, נִיר רָאשִׁים; וְיֵשׁ נִסְפֶּה, בְּלֹא מִשְׁפָּט.
ரொவ் ஓகெல் நீர் ராஷீம் வெயேஷ் நிஸ்பெஹ் பெலோ மிஷ்பாத்
Much food is in the tillage of the poor; but there is that is swept away by want of righteousness.
24.
חוֹשֵׂךְ שִׁבְטוֹ, שׂוֹנֵא בְנוֹ; וְאֹהֲבוֹ, שִׁחֲרוֹ מוּסָר.
ஹோசேக் ஷிவ்தோ ஸோனே வெனோ வெஓஹவோ ஷிஹரோ மூஸார்
He that spareth his rod hateth his son; but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25.
צַדִּיק--אֹכֵל, לְשֹׂבַע נַפְשׁוֹ; וּבֶטֶן רְשָׁעִים תֶּחְסָר.
ட்சத்தீக் ஓகேல் லெஸோவா நாப்ஷோ உவெதென் ரெஷாயீம் தெஹ்ஸார்
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his desire; but the belly of the wicked shall want.
