אֹהֵב מוּסָר, אֹהֵב דָּעַת; וְשׂוֹנֵא תוֹכַחַת בָּעַר.
ஓஹேவ் மூஸார் ஓஹேவ் தாயாத் வெஸோனே தோகாகாத் பாஆர்
Whoso loveth knowledge loveth correction; but he that is brutish hateth reproof.

2.
טוֹב--יָפִיק רָצוֹן, מֵיְהוָה; וְאִישׁ מְזִמּוֹת יַרְשִׁיעַ.
தோவ் யாஃபீக் ராத்ஸோன் மேயெஹ்வா வெஈஷ் மெஸிம்மோத் யார்ஷீஆ
A good man shall obtain favour of the LORD; but a man of wicked devices will He condemn.
3.
לֹא-יִכּוֹן אָדָם בְּרֶשַׁע; וְשֹׁרֶשׁ צַדִּיקִים, בַּל-יִמּוֹט.
லோ யிக்கோன் ஆதாம் பெரெஷா வெஷோரெஷ் தட்சத்தீகிம் பால் யிம்மோத்
A man shall not be established by wickedness; but the root of the righteous shall never be moved.
4.
אֵשֶׁת-חַיִל, עֲטֶרֶת בַּעְלָהּ; וּכְרָקָב בְּעַצְמוֹתָיו מְבִישָׁה.
ஏஷெத் காயில் அடெரெத் பாலா உக்ராகாவ் பெஅட்ஸ்மோதாவ் மெவீஷா
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband; but she that doeth shamefully is as rottenness in his bones.
5.
מַחְשְׁבוֹת צַדִּיקִים מִשְׁפָּט; תַּחְבֻּלוֹת רְשָׁעִים מִרְמָה.
மாக்ஷெவோத் தட்சத்தீகிம் மிஷ்பாத் தாக்புலோத் ரெஷாஇம் மிர்மா
The thoughts of the righteous are right; but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6.
דִּבְרֵי רְשָׁעִים אֱרָב-דָּם; וּפִי יְשָׁרִים, יַצִּילֵם.
திவ்ரே ரெஷாஇம் எராவ் தாம் உஃபீ யெஷாரீம் யாட்சீலேம்
The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood; but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
7.
הָפוֹךְ רְשָׁעִים וְאֵינָם; וּבֵית צַדִּיקִים יַעֲמֹד.
ஹாஃபோக் ரெஷாஇம் வெஏநாம் உவேத் தட்சத்தீகிம் யஅமோத்
The wicked are overthrown, and are not; but the house of the righteous shall stand.
8.
לְפִי-שִׂכְלוֹ, יְהֻלַּל-אִישׁ; וְנַעֲוֵה-לֵב, יִהְיֶה לָבוּז.
லெஃபீ சிக்லோ யெஹுல்லால் ஈஷ் வெநாஅவே லேவ் யிஹ்யெ லாவூஸ்
A man shall be commended according to his intelligence; but he that is of a distorted understanding shall be despised.
9.
טוֹב נִקְלֶה, וְעֶבֶד לוֹ-- מִמִּתְכַּבֵּד, וַחֲסַר-לָחֶם.
தோவ் நிக்லே வெஎவெத் லோ மிம்மித்காப்பேத் வஹஸர் லாஹெம்
Better is he that is lightly esteemed, and hath a servant, than he that playeth the man of rank, and lacketh bread.
10.
יוֹדֵעַ צַדִּיק, נֶפֶשׁ בְּהֶמְתּוֹ; וְרַחֲמֵי רְשָׁעִים, אַכְזָרִי.
யோதேயா த்சத்தீக் நெஃபெஷ் பெஹெம்தோ வெரஹமே ரெஷாயீம் அக்சாரீ
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast; but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
11.
עֹבֵד אַדְמָתוֹ, יִשְׂבַּע-לָחֶם; וּמְרַדֵּף רֵיקִים חֲסַר-לֵב.
ஓவேத் அத்மாதோ யிஸ்பா லாஹெம் உம்ராத்தேஃப் ரேகீம் ஹஸர் லேவ்
He that tilleth his ground shall have plenty of bread; but he that followeth after vain things is void of understanding.
12.
חָמַד רָשָׁע, מְצוֹד רָעִים; וְשֹׁרֶשׁ צַדִּיקִים יִתֵּן.
ஹாமத் ராஷா மெத்சோத் ராயீம் வெஷோரெஷ் த்சத்தீகீம் யித்தேன்
The wicked desireth the prey of evil men; but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
13.
בְּפֶשַׁע שְׂפָתַיִם, מוֹקֵשׁ רָע; וַיֵּצֵא מִצָּרָה צַדִּיק.
பெஃபெஷா ஸ்பாதாயிம் மோகேஷ் ரா வயேட்சே மித்சாரா த்சத்தீக்
In the transgression of the lips is a snare to the evil man; but the righteous cometh out of trouble.
14.
מִפְּרִי פִי-אִישׁ, יִשְׂבַּע-טוֹב; וּגְמוּל יְדֵי-אָדָם, ישוב יָשִׁיב לוֹ.
மிப்ப்ரீ ஃபீ ஈஷ் யிஸ்பா தோவ் உக்மூல் யதே ஆதாம் யாஷீவ் லோ
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the doings of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
15.
דֶּרֶךְ אֱוִיל, יָשָׁר בְּעֵינָיו; וְשֹׁמֵעַ לְעֵצָה חָכָם.
டெரெக் எவீல் யாஷார் பேய்னாவ் வெஷோமேயா லேஏத்சா ஹாகாம்
The way of a fool is straight in his own eyes; but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsel.
16.
אֱוִיל--בַּיּוֹם, יִוָּדַע כַּעְסוֹ; וְכֹסֶה קָלוֹן עָרוּם.
எவீல் பய்யோம் யிவ்வாதா காஸோ வெகோஸே காலோன் அரூம்
A fool's vexation is presently known; but a prudent man concealeth shame.
17.
יָפִיחַ אֱמוּנָה, יַגִּיד צֶדֶק; וְעֵד שְׁקָרִים מִרְמָה.
யாஃபீஹ் எமூனா யக்கீத் த்செதெக் வேஏத் ஷெகாரீம் மிர்மா
He that breatheth forth truth uttereth righteousness; but a false witness deceit.
18.
יֵשׁ בּוֹטֶה, כְּמַדְקְרוֹת חָרֶב; וּלְשׁוֹן חֲכָמִים מַרְפֵּא.
யேஷ் போதே கெமத்க்ரோத் ஹாரெவ் உல்ஷோன் ஹகாமீம் மர்பே
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword; but the tongue of the wise is health.
19.
שְׂפַת-אֱמֶת, תִּכּוֹן לָעַד; וְעַד-אַרְגִּיעָה, לְשׁוֹן שָׁקֶר.
ஸ்பாத் எமெத் திக்கோன் லாஅத் வேஅத் அர்கீஆ லஷோன் ஷாகெர்
The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20.
מִרְמָה, בְּלֶב-חֹרְשֵׁי רָע; וּלְיֹעֲצֵי שָׁלוֹם שִׂמְחָה.
மிர்மா பெலேவ் ஹொர்ஷே ரா உல்யோஅத்சே ஷாலோம் சிம்ஹா
Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil; but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
21.
לֹא-יְאֻנֶּה לַצַּדִּיק כָּל-אָוֶן; וּרְשָׁעִים, מָלְאוּ רָע.
லோ யுஅன்னே லாத்சத்தீக் கால் ஆவென் உர்ஷாயீம் மாலு ரா
There shall no mischief befall the righteous; but the wicked are filled with evil.
22.
תּוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה, שִׂפְתֵי-שָׁקֶר; וְעֹשֵׂי אֱמוּנָה רְצוֹנוֹ.
தோஅவத் யஹ்வா ஷிஃப்தே ஷாகெர் வெஓஸே எமூனா ரெத்சோனோ
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD; but they that deal truly are His delight.
23.
אָדָם עָרוּם, כֹּסֶה דָּעַת; וְלֵב כְּסִילִים, יִקְרָא אִוֶּלֶת.
ஆதாம் அரூம் கோஸே தாயாத் வெலேவ் கஸீலீம் யிக்ரா இவெல்லெத்
A prudent man concealeth knowledge; but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
24.
יַד-חָרוּצִים תִּמְשׁוֹל; וּרְמִיָּה, תִּהְיֶה לָמַס.
யத் ஹாரூத்சீம் திம்ஷோல் உர்மிய்யா திஹ்யே லாமஸ்
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful shall be under tribute.
25.
דְּאָגָה בְלֶב-אִישׁ יַשְׁחֶנָּה; וְדָבָר טוֹב יְשַׂמְּחֶנָּה.
தேஆகா வெலேவ் ஈஷ் யஷ்கென்னா வெதாவார் தோவ் யெஸம்மெஹென்னா
Care in the heart of a man boweth it down; but a good word maketh it glad.
26.
יָתֵר מֵרֵעֵהוּ צַדִּיק; וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים תַּתְעֵם.
யாதேர் மேரேஏஹூ த்சத்தீக் வெடெரெக் ரெஷாயீம் தத்தேம்
The righteous is guided by his friend; but the way of the wicked leadeth them astray.
27.
לֹא-יַחֲרֹךְ רְמִיָּה צֵידוֹ; וְהוֹן-אָדָם יָקָר חָרוּץ.
லோ யஹ்ரோக் ரமிய்யா சேதோ வெஹோன் ஆதாம் யாகார் ஹாரூட்ஸ்
The slothful man shall not hunt his prey; but the precious substance of men is to be diligent.
28.
בְּאֹרַח-צְדָקָה חַיִּים; וְדֶרֶךְ נְתִיבָה אַל-מָוֶת.
பெஓராஹ் த்சதாகா ஹய்யீம் வெடெரெக் நெதீவா அல் மாவெத்
In the way of righteousness is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
