וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-mosheh lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
2.
צַו אֶת-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר, זֹאת תּוֹרַת הָעֹלָה: הִוא הָעֹלָה עַל מוֹקְדָה עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ כָּל-הַלַּיְלָה, עַד-הַבֹּקֶר, וְאֵשׁ הַמִּזְבֵּחַ, תּוּקַד בּוֹ.
Tzav et-Aharon ve'et-banav lemor, zot torat ha'olah: hi ha'olah al mokdah al-hamizbe'ach kol-halailah, ad-haboker, ve'esh hamizbe'ach, tukad bo.
Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the burnt-offering: it is that which goeth up on its firewood upon the altar all night unto the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning thereby.

וְלָבַשׁ הַכֹּהֵן מִדּוֹ בַד, וּמִכְנְסֵי-בַד יִלְבַּשׁ עַל-בְּשָׂרוֹ, וְהֵרִים אֶת-הַדֶּשֶׁן אֲשֶׁר תֹּאכַל הָאֵשׁ אֶת-הָעֹלָה, עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ; וְשָׂמוֹ, אֵצֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.
Velavash hakohen mido vad, umikhnesei-vad yilbash al-besaro, veherim et-hadashen asher tochal ha'esh et-ha'olah, al-hamizbe'ach; vesamo, etzel hamizbe'ach.
And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh; and he shall take up the ashes whereto the fire hath consumed the burnt-offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
4.
וּפָשַׁט, אֶת-בְּגָדָיו, וְלָבַשׁ, בְּגָדִים אֲחֵרִים; וְהוֹצִיא אֶת-הַדֶּשֶׁן אֶל-מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה, אֶל-מָקוֹם טָהוֹר.
Ufashat, et-begadav, velavash, begadim acherim; vehotzi et-hadashen el-michutz lamachaneh, el-makom tahor.
And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

וְהָאֵשׁ עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ תּוּקַד-בּוֹ לֹא תִכְבֶּה, וּבִעֵר עָלֶיהָ הַכֹּהֵן עֵצִים בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר; וְעָרַךְ עָלֶיהָ הָעֹלָה, וְהִקְטִיר עָלֶיהָ חֶלְבֵי הַשְּׁלָמִים.
veha'esh al-hamizbeach tukad-bo lo tikhbeh, ubi'er aleha hakohen etsim baboker baboker; ve'arakh aleha ha'olah, vehektir aleha chelvey hasheramim.
And the fire upon the altar shall be kept burning thereby, it shall not go out; and the priest shall kindle wood on it every morning; and he shall lay the burnt-offering in order upon it, and shall make smoke thereon the fat of the peace-offerings.
6.
אֵשׁ, תָּמִיד תּוּקַד עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ--לֹא תִכְבֶּה.
esh, tamid tukad al-hamizbeach--lo tikhbeh.
Fire shall be kept burning upon the altar continually; it shall not go out.
7.
וְזֹאת תּוֹרַת, הַמִּנְחָה: הַקְרֵב אֹתָהּ בְּנֵי-אַהֲרֹן לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, אֶל-פְּנֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.
vezot torat, haminchah: hakrev otah bene-Aharon lifnei YHWH, el-penei hamizbeach.
And this is the law of the meal-offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, in front of the altar.
8.
וְהֵרִים מִמֶּנּוּ בְּקֻמְצוֹ, מִסֹּלֶת הַמִּנְחָה וּמִשַּׁמְנָהּ, וְאֵת כָּל-הַלְּבֹנָה, אֲשֶׁר עַל-הַמִּנְחָה; וְהִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחַ, רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ אַזְכָּרָתָהּ--לַיהוָה.
ve'herim mimenu bekumtso, misolet haminkha umishamnah, ve'et kol-halevonah, asher al-haminkha; vehktir hamizbe'akh, reyakh nikhoakh azkaratah--layhwh.
And he shall take up therefrom his handful, of the fine flour of the meal-offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meal-offering, and shall make the memorial-part thereof smoke upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
9.
וְהַנּוֹתֶרֶת מִמֶּנָּה, יֹאכְלוּ אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו; מַצּוֹת תֵּאָכֵל בְּמָקוֹם קָדֹשׁ, בַּחֲצַר אֹהֶל-מוֹעֵד יֹאכְלוּהָ.
vehannoteret mimenna, yokhlu Aharon ubanav; matzot teakhel bemakom kadosh, khatzar ohel-moed yokhluhaha.
And that which is left thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat; it shall be eaten without leaven in a holy place; in the court of the tent of meeting they shall eat it.
10.
לֹא תֵאָפֶה חָמֵץ, חֶלְקָם נָתַתִּי אֹתָהּ מֵאִשָּׁי; קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים הִוא, כַּחַטָּאת וְכָאָשָׁם.
lo teafeh khametz, khelkam natati otah me'ishay; kodesh kadashim hi, kakhattat vekha'asham.
It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their portion of My offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as the sin-offering, and as the guilt-offering.
11.
כָּל-זָכָר בִּבְנֵי אַהֲרֹן, יֹאכְלֶנָּה--חָק-עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם, מֵאִשֵּׁי יְהוָה; כֹּל אֲשֶׁר-יִגַּע בָּהֶם, יִקְדָּשׁ.
kol-zakhar bivnei Aharon, yokh'lenah--khoq-olam ledoroteikhem, me'ishei YHWH; kol asher-yigga bahem, yiqdash.
Every male among the children of Aaron may eat of it, as a due for ever throughout your generations, from the offerings of the LORD made by fire; whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.
12.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-Moshe lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
13.
זֶה קָרְבַּן אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו אֲשֶׁר-יַקְרִיבוּ לַיהוָה, בְּיוֹם הִמָּשַׁח אֹתוֹ--עֲשִׂירִת הָאֵפָה סֹלֶת מִנְחָה, תָּמִיד: מַחֲצִיתָהּ בַּבֹּקֶר, וּמַחֲצִיתָהּ בָּעָרֶב.
zeh qarban Aharon uvanav asher-yaqrivu laYHWH, beyom himashakh oto--asirit ha'efah solet minkhah, tamid: makhatsitah baboqer, umakhatsitah ba'arev.
This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal-offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half thereof in the evening.
14.
עַל-מַחֲבַת, בַּשֶּׁמֶן תֵּעָשֶׂה--מֻרְבֶּכֶת תְּבִיאֶנָּה; תֻּפִינֵי מִנְחַת פִּתִּים, תַּקְרִיב רֵיחַ-נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה.
al-makhavat, bashemen te'aseh--murbekhet tebi'enah; tufinei minkhat pittim, takriv reyakh-niyokakh laYHWH.
On a griddle it shall be made with oil; when it is soaked, thou shalt bring it in; in broken pieces shalt thou offer the meal-offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
15.
וְהַכֹּהֵן הַמָּשִׁיחַ תַּחְתָּיו מִבָּנָיו, יַעֲשֶׂה אֹתָהּ; חָק-עוֹלָם, לַיהוָה כָּלִיל תָּקְטָר.
vehakkohen hammashiakh takhtav mibanav, ya'aseh otah; khak-olam, laYHWH kalil taktar.
And the anointed priest that shall be in his stead from among his sons shall offer it, it is a due for ever; it shall be wholly made to smoke unto the LORD.
16.
וְכָל-מִנְחַת כֹּהֵן כָּלִיל תִּהְיֶה, לֹא תֵאָכֵל.
vekhal-minkhat kohen kalil tihyeh, lo te'akhel.
And every meal-offering of the priest shall be wholly made to smoke; it shall not be eaten.
17.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-Mosheh lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
18.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר, זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַחַטָּאת: בִּמְקוֹם אֲשֶׁר תִּשָּׁחֵט הָעֹלָה תִּשָּׁחֵט הַחַטָּאת, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה--קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים, הִוא.
daber el-Aharon ve'el-banav lemor, zot torat hachatat: bimkom asher tishachet ha'olah tishachet hachatat, lifnei YHWH--kodesh kodashim, hi.
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying: This is the law of the sin-offering: in the place where the burnt-offering is killed shall the sin-offering be killed before the LORD; it is most holy.
19.
הַכֹּהֵן הַמְחַטֵּא אֹתָהּ, יֹאכְלֶנָּה; בְּמָקוֹם קָדֹשׁ תֵּאָכֵל, בַּחֲצַר אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
hakohen hamchat ota, yokhlenah; bemakom kadosh te'akhel, bachatzar ohel mo'ed.
The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it; in a holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tent of meeting.
20.
כֹּל אֲשֶׁר-יִגַּע בִּבְשָׂרָהּ, יִקְדָּשׁ; וַאֲשֶׁר יִזֶּה מִדָּמָהּ, עַל-הַבֶּגֶד--אֲשֶׁר יִזֶּה עָלֶיהָ, תְּכַבֵּס בְּמָקוֹם קָדֹשׁ.
kol asher-yiga bivsaraH, yikdash; va'asher yize midamaH, al-habegeD--asher yize aleiha, tekabes bemakom kadosh.
Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy; and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in a holy place.
21.
וּכְלִי-חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר תְּבֻשַּׁל-בּוֹ, יִשָּׁבֵר; וְאִם-בִּכְלִי נְחֹשֶׁת בֻּשָּׁלָה, וּמֹרַק וְשֻׁטַּף בַּמָּיִם.
ukheli-cheres asher tebushal-bo, yishaver; ve'im-bikheli nechoshet bushala, umorak veshutaf bamayim.
But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken; and if it be sodden in a brazen vessel, it shall be scoured, and rinsed in water.
22.
כָּל-זָכָר בַּכֹּהֲנִים, יֹאכַל אֹתָהּ; קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים, הִוא.
kol-zachar bakohanim, yokhal otaH; kodesh kadashim, hi.
Every male among the priests may eat thereof; it is most holy.
23.
וְכָל-חַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר יוּבָא מִדָּמָהּ אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד, לְכַפֵּר בַּקֹּדֶשׁ--לֹא תֵאָכֵל; בָּאֵשׁ, תִּשָּׂרֵף.
ve'khol-chata't asher yuva midamah el-ohel mo'ed, lechaper ba'qodesh--lo te'akhel; ba'esh, tisaref.
And no sin-offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place, shall be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire.
