1.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל-אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר.
vayedaber YHWH, el-Moshe ve'el-Aharon lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:
2.
אָדָם, כִּי-יִהְיֶה בְעוֹר-בְּשָׂרוֹ שְׂאֵת אוֹ-סַפַּחַת אוֹ בַהֶרֶת, וְהָיָה בְעוֹר-בְּשָׂרוֹ, לְנֶגַע צָרָעַת--וְהוּבָא אֶל-אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן, אוֹ אֶל-אַחַד מִבָּנָיו הַכֹּהֲנִים.
adam, ki-yihyeh ve'or-besaro se'et o-sapachat o baheret, vehayah ve'or-besaro, lenega tza'arat--vehuva el-Aharon hakohen, o el-achat mibanav hakohenim.
When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it become in the skin of his flesh the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests.
3.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּגַע בְּעוֹר-הַבָּשָׂר וְשֵׂעָר בַּנֶּגַע הָפַךְ לָבָן, וּמַרְאֵה הַנֶּגַע עָמֹק מֵעוֹר בְּשָׂרוֹ--נֶגַע צָרַעַת, הוּא; וְרָאָהוּ הַכֹּהֵן, וְטִמֵּא אֹתוֹ.
verahah hakohen et-hanegev beo-habasar vese'ar banegev hafakh lavan, umar'eh hanegev amok me'or besaro--nega tza'arat, hu; verahu hakohen, vetime oto.
And the priest shall look upon the plague in the skin of the flesh; and if the hair in the plague be turned white, and the appearance of the plague be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is the plague of leprosy; and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
4.
וְאִם-בַּהֶרֶת לְבָנָה הִוא בְּעוֹר בְּשָׂרוֹ, וְעָמֹק אֵין-מַרְאֶהָ מִן-הָעוֹר, וּשְׂעָרָה, לֹא-הָפַךְ לָבָן--וְהִסְגִּיר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּגַע, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.
ve'im-baheret levanah hi be'or besaro, ve'amok ein-mar'eha min-ha'or, us'arah, lo-hafakh lavan--vehisgir hakohen et-hanega, shiv'at yamim.
And if the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white, then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days.
5.
וְרָאָהוּ הַכֹּהֵן, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, וְהִנֵּה הַנֶּגַע עָמַד בְּעֵינָיו, לֹא-פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע בָּעוֹר--וְהִסְגִּירוֹ הַכֹּהֵן שִׁבְעַת יָמִים, שֵׁנִית.
verahu hakohen, bayom hashvii, vehinneh hanega amad be'einav, lo-fasah hanega ba'or--vehisgiro hakohen shiv'at yamim, shenit.
And the priest shall look on him the seventh day; and, behold, if the plague stay in its appearance, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven days more.
6.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אֹתוֹ בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, שֵׁנִית, וְהִנֵּה כֵּהָה הַנֶּגַע, וְלֹא-פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע בָּעוֹר--וְטִהֲרוֹ הַכֹּהֵן מִסְפַּחַת הִוא, וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְטָהֵר.
veraha hakohen oto bayom hashvii, shenit, vehinneh kehah hanega, velo-fasah hanega ba'or--vetiharo hakohen mispachat hi, vekhibes begadav vetahar.
And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day; and, behold, if the plague be dim, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is a scab; and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
7.
וְאִם-פָּשֹׂה תִפְשֶׂה הַמִּסְפַּחַת בָּעוֹר, אַחֲרֵי הֵרָאֹתוֹ אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן לְטָהֳרָתוֹ; וְנִרְאָה שֵׁנִית, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן.
ve'im-pasoh tifseh hamisaphat ba'or, acharei her'oto el-hakohen letoharato; venir'ah shenit, el-hakohen.
But if the scab spread abroad in the skin, after that he hath shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again.
8.
וְרָאָה, הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה פָּשְׂתָה הַמִּסְפַּחַת, בָּעוֹר--וְטִמְּאוֹ הַכֹּהֵן, צָרַעַת הִוא.
ver'ah, hakohen, vehineh pasethah hamisaphat, ba'or--vetim'o hakohen, tza'arat hi.
And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is leprosy.
9.
נֶגַע צָרַעַת, כִּי תִהְיֶה בְּאָדָם; וְהוּבָא, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן.
nega tza'arat, ki tihyeh be'adam; vehuva, el-hakohen.
When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest.
10.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה שְׂאֵת-לְבָנָה בָּעוֹר, וְהִיא, הָפְכָה שֵׂעָר לָבָן; וּמִחְיַת בָּשָׂר חַי, בַּשְׂאֵת.
vera'ah hakohen, vehineh se'et-levanah ba'or, veh-hi, hafkah sear lavan; u-mikhyat basar khay, bas'et.
And the priest shall look, and, behold, if there be a white rising in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising,
11.
צָרַעַת נוֹשֶׁנֶת הִוא בְּעוֹר בְּשָׂרוֹ, וְטִמְּאוֹ הַכֹּהֵן: לֹא יַסְגִּרֶנּוּ, כִּי טָמֵא הוּא.
tzarat noshenet hi be'or besarov, vetim'o hakohen: lo yasgirennu, ki tame hu.
it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not shut him up; for he is unclean.
12.
וְאִם-פָּרוֹחַ תִּפְרַח הַצָּרַעַת, בָּעוֹר, וְכִסְּתָה הַצָּרַעַת אֵת כָּל-עוֹר הַנֶּגַע, מֵרֹאשׁוֹ וְעַד-רַגְלָיו--לְכָל-מַרְאֵה, עֵינֵי הַכֹּהֵן.
ve'im-paroakh tifrakh hatzarat, ba'or, vekhissetah hatzarat et kol-or hanegeh, merosho ve'ad-raglav--lekhal-mar'eh, einei hakohen.
And if the leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his feet, as far as appeareth to the priest;
13.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה כִסְּתָה הַצָּרַעַת אֶת-כָּל-בְּשָׂרוֹ--וְטִהַר, אֶת-הַנָּגַע: כֻּלּוֹ הָפַךְ לָבָן, טָהוֹר הוּא.
ve'ra'ah hakohen ve'hinneh khissetsah hattsara'at et-kol-besaroro ve'tihar et-hanaga kullou hafakh lavan tahor hu.
then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague; it is all turned white: he is clean.
14.
וּבְיוֹם הֵרָאוֹת בּוֹ בָּשָׂר חַי, יִטְמָא.
u'veyom hera'ot bo basar khay yitma.
But whensoever raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
15.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַבָּשָׂר הַחַי, וְטִמְּאוֹ: הַבָּשָׂר הַחַי טָמֵא הוּא, צָרַעַת הוּא.
ve'ra'ah hakohen et-habasar hakhay ve'tim'ou habasar hakhay tame hu tsara'at hu.
And the priest shall look on the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean; the raw flesh is unclean: it is leprosy.
16.
אוֹ כִי יָשׁוּב הַבָּשָׂר הַחַי, וְנֶהְפַּךְ לְלָבָן; וּבָא, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן.
o khi yashuv habasar hakhi, venefakh lelavan; uva, el-hakohen.
But if the raw flesh again be turned into white, then he shall come unto the priest;
17.
וְרָאָהוּ, הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה נֶהְפַּךְ הַנֶּגַע, לְלָבָן--וְטִהַר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּגַע, טָהוֹר הוּא.
verahu, hakohen, vehine nefakh hanege, lelavan--vetihar hakohen et-hanege, tahor hu.
and the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the plague be turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
18.
וּבָשָׂר, כִּי-יִהְיֶה בוֹ-בְעֹרוֹ שְׁחִין; וְנִרְפָּא.
uvasar, ki-yihye bo-ve'oro shekhin; venirpa.
And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,
19.
וְהָיָה בִּמְקוֹם הַשְּׁחִין, שְׂאֵת לְבָנָה, אוֹ בַהֶרֶת, לְבָנָה אֲדַמְדָּמֶת; וְנִרְאָה, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן.
vehayah bimkom hashchin, se'et levanah, o baheret, levanah adamdamet; venir'ah, el-hakohen.
and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest.
20.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה מַרְאֶהָ שָׁפָל מִן-הָעוֹר, וּשְׂעָרָהּ, הָפַךְ לָבָן--וְטִמְּאוֹ הַכֹּהֵן נֶגַע-צָרַעַת הִוא, בַּשְּׁחִין פָּרָחָה.
ver'ah hakohen, vehinneh mar'eha shafal min-ha'or, use'arah, hafakh lavan--vetim'o hakohen nega-tsara'at hi, bashchin parachah.
And the priest shall look; and, behold, if the appearance thereof be lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy, it hath broken out in the boil.
21.
וְאִם יִרְאֶנָּה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה אֵין-בָּהּ שֵׂעָר לָבָן, וּשְׁפָלָה אֵינֶנָּה מִן-הָעוֹר, וְהִיא כֵהָה--וְהִסְגִּירוֹ הַכֹּהֵן, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.
ve'im yirenneha hakohen, vehinneh ein-bah se'ar lavan, ushefalah einennah min-ha'or, vehi kehah--vehisgiro hakohen, shiv'at yamim.
But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and it be not lower than the skin, but be dim, then the priest shall shut him up seven days.
22.
וְאִם-פָּשֹׂה תִפְשֶׂה, בָּעוֹר--וְטִמֵּא הַכֹּהֵן אֹתוֹ, נֶגַע הִוא.
ve'im-pasoh tifseh, ba'or--ve'timeh hakohen oto, nega hi.
And if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
23.
וְאִם-תַּחְתֶּיהָ תַּעֲמֹד הַבַּהֶרֶת, לֹא פָשָׂתָה--צָרֶבֶת הַשְּׁחִין, הִוא; וְטִהֲרוֹ, הַכֹּהֵן.
ve'im-takhteiha ta'amod habaheret, lo pasatah--tzarevet hashkhin, hi; vetiharo, hakohen.
But if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
24.
אוֹ בָשָׂר, כִּי-יִהְיֶה בְעֹרוֹ מִכְוַת-אֵשׁ; וְהָיְתָה מִחְיַת הַמִּכְוָה, בַּהֶרֶת לְבָנָה אֲדַמְדֶּמֶת--אוֹ לְבָנָה.
o basar, ki-yihyeh ve'oro mikhvat-esh; vehayetah mikhyat hammikhvah, baheret levanah adamdemet--o levanah.
Or when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a burning by fire, and the quick flesh of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white;
25.
וְרָאָה אֹתָהּ הַכֹּהֵן וְהִנֵּה נֶהְפַּךְ שֵׂעָר לָבָן בַּבַּהֶרֶת, וּמַרְאֶהָ עָמֹק מִן-הָעוֹר--צָרַעַת הִוא, בַּמִּכְוָה פָּרָחָה; וְטִמֵּא אֹתוֹ הַכֹּהֵן, נֶגַע צָרַעַת הִוא.
ve'ra'ah otah hakohen vehineh nehfach se'ar lavan babbaheret, umar'eh amok min-ha'or--tzara'at hi, bammikhvah parachah; vetimmei oto hakohen, nega tzara'at hi.
then the priest shall look upon it; and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin, it is leprosy, it hath broken out in the burning; and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
26.
וְאִם יִרְאֶנָּה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה אֵין-בַּבַּהֶרֶת שֵׂעָר לָבָן, וּשְׁפָלָה אֵינֶנָּה מִן-הָעוֹר, וְהִוא כֵהָה--וְהִסְגִּירוֹ הַכֹּהֵן, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.
ve'im yir'enah hakohen, vehineh ein-babbaheret se'ar lavan, ushfelah einennah min-ha'or, vehiu kehah--vehisgiro hakohen, shiv'at yamim.
But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the skin, but be dim; then the priest shall shut him up seven days.
27.
וְרָאָהוּ הַכֹּהֵן, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי: אִם-פָּשֹׂה תִפְשֶׂה, בָּעוֹר--וְטִמֵּא הַכֹּהֵן אֹתוֹ, נֶגַע צָרַעַת הִוא.
ve'ra'ahu hakohen, bayyom hashevi'i: im-pasoh tifseh, ba'or--vetimmei hakohen oto, nega tzara'at hi.
And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day; if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
28.
וְאִם-תַּחְתֶּיהָ תַעֲמֹד הַבַּהֶרֶת לֹא-פָשְׂתָה בָעוֹר, וְהִוא כֵהָה--שְׂאֵת הַמִּכְוָה, הִוא; וְטִהֲרוֹ, הַכֹּהֵן--כִּי-צָרֶבֶת הַמִּכְוָה, הִוא.
ve'im-takhteiha ta'amod habbaheret lo-fasethah ba'or, vehiw khehah--se'et hammikhwah, hiw; vetiharow, hakkohen--ki-tzareveth hammikhwah, hiw.
And if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread in the skin, but be dim, it is the rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it is the scar of the burning.
29.
וְאִישׁ אוֹ אִשָּׁה, כִּי-יִהְיֶה בוֹ נָגַע, בְּרֹאשׁ, אוֹ בְזָקָן.
ve'ish ow ishah, ki-yihyeh bow naga, berosh, ow vezakan.
And when a man or woman hath a plague upon the head or upon the beard,
30.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּגַע, וְהִנֵּה מַרְאֵהוּ עָמֹק מִן-הָעוֹר, וּבוֹ שֵׂעָר צָהֹב, דָּק--וְטִמֵּא אֹתוֹ הַכֹּהֵן נֶתֶק הוּא, צָרַעַת הָרֹאשׁ אוֹ הַזָּקָן הוּא.
verahah hakkohen et-hannega, vehinneh mar'ehu amok min-ha'or, ubow se'ar tzahov, dak--vetimmei oto hakkohen netek hu, tzara'at harosh ow hazakan hu.
then the priest shall look on the plague; and, behold, if the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin, and there be in it yellow thin hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a scall, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard.
31.
וְכִי-יִרְאֶה הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-נֶגַע הַנֶּתֶק, וְהִנֵּה אֵין-מַרְאֵהוּ עָמֹק מִן-הָעוֹר, וְשֵׂעָר שָׁחֹר, אֵין בּוֹ--וְהִסְגִּיר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-נֶגַע הַנֶּתֶק, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.
ve'chi-yir'eh hakohen et-nega hanetek, vehinneh ein-mar'ehu amok min-ha'or, vese'ar shakhor, ein bo--vehisgir hakohen et-nega hanetek, shiv'at yamim.
And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and there be no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days.
32.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּגַע, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, וְהִנֵּה לֹא-פָשָׂה הַנֶּתֶק, וְלֹא-הָיָה בוֹ שֵׂעָר צָהֹב; וּמַרְאֵה הַנֶּתֶק, אֵין עָמֹק מִן-הָעוֹר.
verahah hakohen et-haneteg, bayom hashevi'i, vehinneh lo-fasah hanetek, velo-hayah bo se'ar tzahov; umar'eh hanetek, ein amok min-ha'or.
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague; and, behold, if the scall be not spread, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the appearance of the scall be not deeper than the skin,
33.
וְהִתְגַּלָּח--וְאֶת-הַנֶּתֶק, לֹא יְגַלֵּחַ; וְהִסְגִּיר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּתֶק שִׁבְעַת יָמִים, שֵׁנִית.
vehitgallach--ve'et-hanetek, lo yegallach; vehisgir hakohen et-hanetek shiv'at yamim, shenit.
then he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more.
34.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַנֶּתֶק בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, וְהִנֵּה לֹא-פָשָׂה הַנֶּתֶק בָּעוֹר, וּמַרְאֵהוּ, אֵינֶנּוּ עָמֹק מִן-הָעוֹר--וְטִהַר אֹתוֹ הַכֹּהֵן, וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְטָהֵר.
vera'ah hakohen et-hanetek bayom hashvii vehineh lo-fasah hanetek baor umarehu einenu amok min-haor vetihar oto hakohen vekibes begadav vetaher.
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall; and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
35.
וְאִם-פָּשֹׂה יִפְשֶׂה הַנֶּתֶק, בָּעוֹר, אַחֲרֵי, טָהֳרָתוֹ.
veim-pasoh yifseh hanetek baor aharei taharato.
But if the scall spread abroad in the skin after his cleansing,
36.
וְרָאָהוּ, הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה פָּשָׂה הַנֶּתֶק, בָּעוֹר--לֹא-יְבַקֵּר הַכֹּהֵן לַשֵּׂעָר הַצָּהֹב, טָמֵא הוּא.
verahu hakohen vehineh fasah hanetek baor lo-yevaker hakohen lasear hatzahov tame hu.
then the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the yellow hair: he is unclean.
37.
וְאִם-בְּעֵינָיו עָמַד הַנֶּתֶק וְשֵׂעָר שָׁחֹר צָמַח-בּוֹ, נִרְפָּא הַנֶּתֶק--טָהוֹר הוּא; וְטִהֲרוֹ, הַכֹּהֵן.
ve'im-be'einav amad hanetek vese'ar shachor tzamach-bo, nirpa hanetek--tahor hu; vetiharo, hakohen.
But if the scall stay in its appearance, and black hair be grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
38.
וְאִישׁ, אוֹ-אִשָּׁה, כִּי-יִהְיֶה בְעוֹר-בְּשָׂרָם, בֶּהָרֹת--בֶּהָרֹת, לְבָנֹת.
ve'ish, o-ishah, ki-yihyeh ve'or-besaram, beharot--beharot, levanot.
And if a man or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
39.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה בְעוֹר-בְּשָׂרָם בֶּהָרֹת--כֵּהוֹת לְבָנֹת: בֹּהַק הוּא פָּרַח בָּעוֹר, טָהוֹר הוּא.
veraha hakohen, vehinneh ve'or-besaram beharot--kehot levanot: bohak hu parach ba'or, tahor hu.
then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be of a dull white, it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skin: he is clean.
40.
וְאִישׁ, כִּי יִמָּרֵט רֹאשׁוֹ--קֵרֵחַ הוּא, טָהוֹר הוּא.
ve'ish, ki yimaret rosho--qereach hu, tahor hu.
And if a man's hair be fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
41.
וְאִם מִפְּאַת פָּנָיו, יִמָּרֵט רֹאשׁוֹ--גִּבֵּחַ הוּא, טָהוֹר הוּא.
ve'im mip'at panav, yimaret rosho--gibeach hu, tahor hu.
And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead-bald; yet is he clean.
42.
וְכִי-יִהְיֶה בַקָּרַחַת אוֹ בַגַּבַּחַת, נֶגַע לָבָן אֲדַמְדָּם--צָרַעַת פֹּרַחַת הִוא, בְּקָרַחְתּוֹ אוֹ בְגַבַּחְתּוֹ.
vechi-yihyeh vaqarachat o vagabachat, nega lavan adamdam--tzara'at porachat hi, beqarach-to o vegabach-to.
But if there be in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague, it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
43.
וְרָאָה אֹתוֹ הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה שְׂאֵת-הַנֶּגַע לְבָנָה אֲדַמְדֶּמֶת, בְּקָרַחְתּוֹ, אוֹ בְגַבַּחְתּוֹ--כְּמַרְאֵה צָרַעַת, עוֹר בָּשָׂר.
vera'ah oto hakohen, vehinneh se'et-hanega levanah adamdemet, bekarakhto, o vegabakhto--kemareh tza'arat, or basar.
Then the priest shall look upon him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague be reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh,
44.
אִישׁ-צָרוּעַ הוּא, טָמֵא הוּא; טַמֵּא יְטַמְּאֶנּוּ הַכֹּהֵן, בְּרֹאשׁוֹ נִגְעוֹ.
ish-tzarua hu, tame hu; tame yetam'enu hakohen, berosho nigo.
he is a leprous man, he is unclean; the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean: his plague is in his head.
45.
וְהַצָּרוּעַ אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ הַנֶּגַע, בְּגָדָיו יִהְיוּ פְרֻמִים וְרֹאשׁוֹ יִהְיֶה פָרוּעַ, וְעַל-שָׂפָם, יַעְטֶה; וְטָמֵא טָמֵא, יִקְרָא.
vehatzarua asher-bo hanega, begadav yihyu frumim verosho yihyeh paru'a, ve'al-sfam, ya'ate; vetame tame, yikra.
And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry: 'Unclean, unclean.'
46.
כָּל-יְמֵי אֲשֶׁר הַנֶּגַע בּוֹ, יִטְמָא--טָמֵא הוּא: בָּדָד יֵשֵׁב, מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה מוֹשָׁבוֹ.
kol-yeme asher hanegev bo, yitma--tame hu: badad yeshev, mikhuts lamakhanhe moshavo.
All the days wherein the plague is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean; he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his dwelling be.
47.
וְהַבֶּגֶד, כִּי-יִהְיֶה בוֹ נֶגַע צָרָעַת: בְּבֶגֶד צֶמֶר, אוֹ בְּבֶגֶד פִּשְׁתִּים.
vehabegev, ki-yihyeh bo negev tsorat: bevegev tsemer, o bevegev pishtim.
And when the plague of leprosy is in a garment, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment;
48.
אוֹ בִשְׁתִי אוֹ בְעֵרֶב, לַפִּשְׁתִּים וְלַצָּמֶר; אוֹ בְעוֹר, אוֹ בְּכָל-מְלֶאכֶת עוֹר.
o vishti o veerev, lapishtim velatsamer; o veor, o bekhal-melekhet or.
or in the warp, or in the woof, whether they be of linen, or of wool; or in a skin, or in any thing made of skin.
49.
וְהָיָה הַנֶּגַע יְרַקְרַק אוֹ אֲדַמְדָּם, בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ בָעוֹר אוֹ-בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ-בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בְכָל-כְּלִי-עוֹר--נֶגַע צָרַעַת, הוּא; וְהָרְאָה, אֶת-הַכֹּהֵן.
vehayah hanegev yerakrak o adamdam, babeget o va'or o-basheti o-va'erev o bekhal-keli-or--negev tzarat, hu; veharah, et-hakohen.
If the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin, it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown unto the priest.
50.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן, אֶת-הַנָּגַע; וְהִסְגִּיר אֶת-הַנֶּגַע, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.
verah hakohen, et-hanagev; vehisgir et-hanegev, shiv'at yamim.
And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up that which hath the plague seven days.
51.
וְרָאָה אֶת-הַנֶּגַע בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, כִּי-פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ-בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ-בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בָעוֹר, לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר-יֵעָשֶׂה הָעוֹר, לִמְלָאכָה--צָרַעַת מַמְאֶרֶת הַנֶּגַע, טָמֵא הוּא.
verah et-hanegev bayom hashevi'i, ki-fasah hanegev babeget o-basheti o-va'erev o va'or, lekhol asher-ye'aseh ha'or, limlakah--tzarat mam'eret hanegev, tame hu.
And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for, the plague is a malignant leprosy: it is unclean.
52.
וְשָׂרַף אֶת-הַבֶּגֶד אוֹ אֶת-הַשְּׁתִי אוֹ אֶת-הָעֵרֶב, בַּצֶּמֶר אוֹ בַפִּשְׁתִּים, אוֹ אֶת-כָּל-כְּלִי הָעוֹר, אֲשֶׁר-יִהְיֶה בוֹ הַנָּגַע: כִּי-צָרַעַת מַמְאֶרֶת הִוא, בָּאֵשׁ תִּשָּׂרֵף.
vesaraf et-habeged o et-hasheti o et-ha'erev, batzemer o vafishtim, o et-kol-keli ha'or, asher-yihyeh bo hanaga: ki-tsara'at mam'eret hi, ba'esh tisaref.
And he shall burn the garment, or the warp, or the woof, whether it be of wool or of linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is; for it is a malignant leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
53.
וְאִם, יִרְאֶה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה לֹא-פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע, בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ בָעֵרֶב; אוֹ, בְּכָל-כְּלִי-עוֹר.
ve'im, yir'e hakohen, vehine lo-fasa hanege, babeged o vasheti o ba'erev; o, bekhal-keli-'or.
And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
54.
וְצִוָּה, הַכֹּהֵן, וְכִבְּסוּ, אֵת אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ הַנָּגַע; וְהִסְגִּירוֹ שִׁבְעַת-יָמִים, שֵׁנִית.
vetsiva, hakohen, vekhivesu, et asher-bo hanaga; vehisgiro shiv'at-yamim, shenit.
then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more.
55.
וְרָאָה הַכֹּהֵן אַחֲרֵי הֻכַּבֵּס אֶת-הַנֶּגַע, וְהִנֵּה לֹא-הָפַךְ הַנֶּגַע אֶת-עֵינוֹ וְהַנֶּגַע לֹא-פָשָׂה--טָמֵא הוּא, בָּאֵשׁ תִּשְׂרְפֶנּוּ: פְּחֶתֶת הִוא, בְּקָרַחְתּוֹ אוֹ בְגַבַּחְתּוֹ.
vera'ah hakohen acharei hukkabes et-hanega, vehinneh lo-hafakh hanega et-eino vahanega lo-fasah--tame hu, ba'esh tisrefennu: pechetet hi, bekarachto o begabachto.
And the priest shall look, after that the plague is washed; and, behold, if the plague have not changed its colour, and the plague be not spread, it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is a fret, whether the bareness be within or without.
56.
וְאִם, רָאָה הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִנֵּה כֵּהָה הַנֶּגַע, אַחֲרֵי הֻכַּבֵּס אֹתוֹ--וְקָרַע אֹתוֹ, מִן-הַבֶּגֶד אוֹ מִן-הָעוֹר, אוֹ מִן-הַשְּׁתִי, אוֹ מִן-הָעֵרֶב.
ve'im, ra'ah hakohen, vehinneh kehah hanega, acharei hukkabes oto--vekara oto, min-habeged o min-ha'or, o min-hashti, o min-ha'erev.
And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be dim after the washing thereof, then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof.
57.
וְאִם-תֵּרָאֶה עוֹד בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ-בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ-בָעֵרֶב, אוֹ בְכָל-כְּלִי-עוֹר--פֹּרַחַת, הִוא: בָּאֵשׁ תִּשְׂרְפֶנּוּ, אֵת אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ הַנָּגַע.
ve'im-terae od babeged o-bashti o-ba'erev, o vekchal-keli-'or--porachat, hi: ba'esh tisrefennu, et asher-bo hanaga.
And if it appear still in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin, it is breaking out, thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
58.
וְהַבֶּגֶד אוֹ-הַשְּׁתִי אוֹ-הָעֵרֶב אוֹ-כָל-כְּלִי הָעוֹר, אֲשֶׁר תְּכַבֵּס, וְסָר מֵהֶם, הַנָּגַע--וְכֻבַּס שֵׁנִית, וְטָהֵר.
vehabeged o-hasheti o-ha'erev o-khol-keli ha'or asher tekabes vesar mehem hanaga vekhubas shenit vetaher.
And the garment, or the warp, or the woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
59.
זֹאת תּוֹרַת נֶגַע-צָרַעַת בֶּגֶד הַצֶּמֶר אוֹ הַפִּשְׁתִּים, אוֹ הַשְּׁתִי אוֹ הָעֵרֶב, אוֹ, כָּל-כְּלִי-עוֹר--לְטַהֲרוֹ, אוֹ לְטַמְּאוֹ.
zot torat nega-tsara'at beged hatsemer o hapishtim o hasheti o ha'erev o kol-keli-or letaharo o letamo.
This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of wool or linen, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
