וַיַּשְׁכֵּם יְרֻבַּעַל הוּא גִדְעוֹן, וְכָל-הָעָם אֲשֶׁר אִתּוֹ, וַיַּחֲנוּ, עַל-עֵין חֲרֹד; וּמַחֲנֵה מִדְיָן הָיָה-לוֹ מִצָּפוֹן, מִגִּבְעַת הַמּוֹרֶה בָּעֵמֶק.
vayashkem Yerubba'al hu Gid'on, vekol-ha'am asher itto, vayakhanu, al-'ein kharod; u-makhaneh Midyan hayah-lo mitzafon, migiv'at hammoreh ba'emek.
Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside En-harod; and the camp of Midian was on the north side of them, by Gibeath-moreh, in the valley.
