כִּי, הִנֵּה בַּיָּמִים הָהֵמָּה--וּבָעֵת הַהִיא: אֲשֶׁר אשוב אָשִׁיב אֶת-שְׁבוּת יְהוּדָה, וִירוּשָׁלִָם.

Ki, hinneh bayamim hahemma--uvat hahii: asher ashuv ashiv et-shevut Yehudah, virushalayim.

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

וְקִבַּצְתִּי, אֶת-כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם, וְהוֹרַדְתִּים, אֶל-עֵמֶק יְהוֹשָׁפָט; וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּי עִמָּם שָׁם, עַל-עַמִּי וְנַחֲלָתִי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר פִּזְּרוּ בַגּוֹיִם, וְאֶת-אַרְצִי, חִלֵּקוּ.

Vekibbatsti, et-kol-hagoyim, vehoradtim, el-emek Yehoshafat; venishpatti immam sham, al-ammi venachalati Yisrael asher pizzeru vagoyim, ve'et-artsi, khilluku.

I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

וְאֶל-עַמִּי, יַדּוּ גוֹרָל; וַיִּתְּנוּ הַיֶּלֶד בַּזּוֹנָה, וְהַיַּלְדָּה מָכְרוּ בַיַּיִן וַיִּשְׁתּוּ.

Ve'el-ammi, yaddu goral; vayyittenu hayyeled bazzonah, vehayaldah makhru vayyayin vayyishtu.

And they have cast lots for My people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, and have drunk.

וְגַם מָה-אַתֶּם לִי, צֹר וְצִידוֹן, וְכֹל, גְּלִילוֹת פְּלָשֶׁת; הַגְּמוּל, אַתֶּם מְשַׁלְּמִים עָלָי, וְאִם-גֹּמְלִים אַתֶּם עָלַי, קַל מְהֵרָה אָשִׁיב גְּמֻלְכֶם בְּרֹאשְׁכֶם.

Vegam mah-atem li, Tzor veTtzidon, vekhol, gelilot Peleshet; haggemul, attem meshallemim alay, ve'im-gomlim attem alay, kal meherah ashiv gemulkhem beroshkhem.

And also what are ye to Me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the regions of Philistia? will ye render retribution on My behalf? and if ye render retribution on My behalf, swiftly, speedily will I return your retribution upon your own head.

אֲשֶׁר-כַּסְפִּי וּזְהָבִי, לְקַחְתֶּם; וּמַחֲמַדַּי, הַטֹּבִים, הֲבֵאתֶם, לְהֵיכְלֵיכֶם.

asher-kasgi uvezehavi lekakhtem umakhamadday hatovim hava'etem lehekhelekhem.

Forasmuch as ye have taken My silver and My gold, and have carried into your temples My goodly treasures;

וּבְנֵי יְהוּדָה וּבְנֵי יְרוּשָׁלִַם, מְכַרְתֶּם לִבְנֵי הַיְּוָנִים, לְמַעַן הַרְחִיקָם, מֵעַל גְּבוּלָם.

uvenei yehudah uvenei yerushalayim mekahrtem livnei hayevanim lemaan harkhikam me'al gevulam.

the children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the sons of Jevanim, that ye might remove them far from their border;

הִנְנִי מְעִירָם--מִן-הַמָּקוֹם, אֲשֶׁר-מְכַרְתֶּם אֹתָם שָׁמָּה; וַהֲשִׁבֹתִי גְמֻלְכֶם, בְּרֹאשְׁכֶם.

hinni me'iram min-hamakom asher-mekahrtem otam shamah vahashiboti gemulkhem beroshkhem.

behold, I will stir them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your retribution upon your own head;

וּמָכַרְתִּי אֶת-בְּנֵיכֶם וְאֶת-בְּנוֹתֵיכֶם, בְּיַד בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה, וּמְכָרוּם לִשְׁבָאיִם, אֶל-גּוֹי רָחוֹק: כִּי יְהוָה, דִּבֵּר.

umakharti et-beneykhem ve'et-benoteykhem beyad benei yehudah umekharum lishvayim el-goy rakhok ki YHWH diber.

and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the men of Sheba, to a nation far off; for the LORD hath spoken.

קִרְאוּ-זֹאת, בַּגּוֹיִם, קַדְּשׁוּ, מִלְחָמָה; הָעִירוּ, הַגִּבּוֹרִים--יִגְּשׁוּ יַעֲלוּ, כֹּל אַנְשֵׁי הַמִּלְחָמָה.

Kir'u-zot, bagoyim, kaddeshu, milkhamah; ha'iru, haggiborim--yiggashu ya'alu, kol anshey hammilkhamah.

Proclaim ye this among the nations, prepare war; stir up the mighty men; let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.

10.

כֹּתּוּ אִתֵּיכֶם לַחֲרָבוֹת, וּמַזְמְרֹתֵיכֶם לִרְמָחִים; הַחַלָּשׁ, יֹאמַר גִּבּוֹר אָנִי.

Kottu itekhem lakharavot, umazmerotekhem lirmakhim; hakhallash, yomar gibbor ani.

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears; let the weak say: 'I am strong.'

11.

עוּשׁוּ וָבֹאוּ כָל-הַגּוֹיִם מִסָּבִיב, וְנִקְבָּצוּ; שָׁמָּה, הַנְחַת יְהוָה גִּבּוֹרֶיךָ.

Ushu vao'u khal-hagoyim missaviv, venikbatzu; shammah, hankhat YHWH gibboreykha.

Haste ye, and come, all ye nations round about, and gather yourselves together; thither cause Thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD!

12.

יֵעוֹרוּ וְיַעֲלוּ הַגּוֹיִם, אֶל-עֵמֶק יְהוֹשָׁפָט: כִּי שָׁם, אֵשֵׁב לִשְׁפֹּט אֶת-כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם--מִסָּבִיב.

Ye'oru vaya'alu hagoyim, el-emek Yehoshafat: ki sham, eshev lishpot et-kol-hagoyim--missaviv.

Let the nations be stirred up, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.

13.

שִׁלְחוּ מַגָּל, כִּי בָשַׁל קָצִיר; בֹּאוּ רְדוּ, כִּי-מָלְאָה גַּת--הֵשִׁיקוּ הַיְקָבִים, כִּי רַבָּה רָעָתָם.

shilchu magal, ki vashal katzir; bo'u redu, ki-mal'ah gat--heshiku haykavim, ki rabah ra'atam.

Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come, tread ye, for the winepress is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

14.

הֲמוֹנִים הֲמוֹנִים, בְּעֵמֶק הֶחָרוּץ: כִּי קָרוֹב יוֹם יְהוָה, בְּעֵמֶק הֶחָרוּץ.

hamonim hamonim, be'emek hecharutz: ki karov yom YHWH, be'emek hecharutz.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

15.

שֶׁמֶשׁ וְיָרֵחַ, קָדָרוּ; וְכוֹכָבִים, אָסְפוּ נָגְהָם.

shemesh veyare'ach, kadaru; vekokhavim, asfu nogham.

The sun and the moon are become black, and the stars withdraw their shining.

16.

וַיהוָה מִצִּיּוֹן יִשְׁאָג, וּמִירוּשָׁלִַם יִתֵּן קוֹלוֹ, וְרָעֲשׁוּ, שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ; וַיהוָה מַחֲסֶה לְעַמּוֹ, וּמָעוֹז לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.

vYHWH mitziyon yish'ag, u-miYerushalayim yiten kolo, vera'ashu, shamayim va'aretz; vYHWH machaseh le'ammo, uma'oz livnei Yisrael.

And the LORD shall roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the LORD will be a refuge unto His people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.

17.

וִידַעְתֶּם, כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, שֹׁכֵן, בְּצִיּוֹן הַר-קָדְשִׁי; וְהָיְתָה יְרוּשָׁלִַם קֹדֶשׁ, וְזָרִים לֹא-יַעַבְרוּ-בָהּ עוֹד.

viyda'tem, ki ani YHWH Eloheikhem, shokhen, betziyon har-kodshi; vehayetah Yerushalayim kodesh, vezarim lo-ya'avru-vah od.

So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain; then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

18.

וְהָיָה בַיּוֹם הַהוּא יִטְּפוּ הֶהָרִים עָסִיס, וְהַגְּבָעוֹת תֵּלַכְנָה חָלָב, וְכָל-אֲפִיקֵי יְהוּדָה, יֵלְכוּ מָיִם; וּמַעְיָן, מִבֵּית יְהוָה יֵצֵא, וְהִשְׁקָה, אֶת-נַחַל הַשִּׁטִּים.

vehayah bayom hahu yittefu heharim asis, vehageva'ot telakhnah khalav, vekhal-afikei yehudah, yelekhu mayim; uma'yan, mibeit YHWH yetze, vehishkah, et-nakhal hashittim.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

19.

מִצְרַיִם, לִשְׁמָמָה תִהְיֶה, וֶאֱדוֹם, לְמִדְבַּר שְׁמָמָה תִּהְיֶה; מֵחֲמַס בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה, אֲשֶׁר-שָׁפְכוּ דָם-נָקִיא בְּאַרְצָם.

mitzrayim, lishmamah tihyeh, ve'edom, lemidbar shemamah tihyeh; mekhamas benei yehudah, asher-shafekhu dam-nakiy be'artzam.

Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

20.

וִיהוּדָה, לְעוֹלָם תֵּשֵׁב; וִירוּשָׁלִַם, לְדוֹר וָדוֹר.

viyehudah, le'olam teshev; viYerushalayim, ledor vador.

But Judah shall be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

21.

וְנִקֵּיתִי, דָּמָם לֹא-נִקֵּיתִי; וַיהוָה, שֹׁכֵן בְּצִיּוֹן.

veniqqeti, damam lo-niqqeti; vAdonai, shokhen betziyon.

And I will hold as innocent their blood that I have not held as innocent; and the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
