וַיַּעַן, בִּלְדַּד הַשֻּׁחִי; וַיֹּאמַר.
வயாஅன் பில்தத் ஹஷுஹி வயோமார்
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:

2.
הַמְשֵׁל וָפַחַד עִמּוֹ; עֹשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם, בִּמְרוֹמָיו.
ஹம்ஷேல் வாபஹத் இம்மோ ஓஸே ஷாலோம் பிம்ரோமாவ்
Dominion and fear are with Him; He maketh peace in His high places.
3.
הֲיֵשׁ מִסְפָּר, לִגְדוּדָיו; וְעַל-מִי, לֹא-יָקוּם אוֹרֵהוּ.
ஹயேஷ் மிஸ்பார் லிக்தூதாவ் வெஅல்-மீ லோ-யாகூம் ஓரேஹு
Is there any number of His armies? And upon whom doth not His light arise?
4.
וּמַה-יִּצְדַּק אֱנוֹשׁ עִם-אֵל; וּמַה-יִּזְכֶּה, יְלוּד אִשָּׁה.
வுமஹ-யிச்தக் எநோஷ் இம்-எல் வுமஹ-யிஜ்கே யிலூத் இஷ்ஷா
How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5.
הֵן עַד-יָרֵחַ, וְלֹא יַאֲהִיל; וְכוֹכָבִים, לֹא-זַכּוּ בְעֵינָיו.
ஹேன் அத்-யாரேஹ வெலோ யாஅஹீல் வெகோகாவிம் லோ-ஜக்கூ பேய்னாவ்
Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, and the stars are not pure in His sight;
6.
אַף, כִּי-אֱנוֹשׁ רִמָּה; וּבֶן-אָדָם, תּוֹלֵעָה.
அப் கீ-எநோஷ் ரிம்மா உவென்-ஆதாம் தோலேஆ
How much less man, that is a worm! and the son of man, that is a maggot!
