הַדָּבָר, אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יִרְמְיָהוּ הַנָּבִיא, אֶל-בָּרוּךְ, בֶּן-נֵרִיָּה--בְּכָתְבוֹ אֶת-הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה עַל-סֵפֶר, מִפִּי יִרְמְיָהוּ, בַּשָּׁנָה הָרְבִעִית, לִיהוֹיָקִים בֶּן-יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה לֵאמֹר.
ஹதாபார், அஷெர் திப்பீர் யிர்மெயாஹு ஹன்னாவி, எல்-பாரூக், பென்-நேரிய்யாஹ்--பெகָתְவோ எத்-ஹதேவாரீம் ஹாஎல்லெஹ் அல்-ஸேபெர், மிப்பீ யிர்மெயாஹு, பாஷானாஹ் ஹரெவீஇத், லீஹோயாகீம் பென்-யோஷிய்யாஹு மெலெக் யெஹூதாஹ் லேமோர்.
The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying:

כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה, אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, עָלֶיךָ, בָּרוּךְ.
கோ-ஆமார் யெஹ்வாஹ், எலோஹே யிஸ்ராயேல், அலேகா, பாரூக்.
'Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning thee, O Baruch: Thou didst say:

אָמַרְתָּ אוֹי-נָא לִי, כִּי-יָסַף יְהוָה יָגוֹן עַל-מַכְאֹבִי; יָגַעְתִּי, בְּאַנְחָתִי, וּמְנוּחָה, לֹא מָצָאתִי.
ஆமார்தா ஓய்-நா லீ, கீ-யாஸாப் யெஹ்வாஹ் யாகோன் அல்-மகோவீ; யாகாதீ, பெயான்ஹாதீ, உமெனூஹாஹ், லோ மாட்சாதீ.
Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.

כֹּה תֹּאמַר אֵלָיו, כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה, הִנֵּה אֲשֶׁר-בָּנִיתִי אֲנִי הֹרֵס, וְאֵת אֲשֶׁר-נָטַעְתִּי אֲנִי נֹתֵשׁ; וְאֶת-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ, הִיא.
கோ தோமார் எலாவ், கோ ஆமார் யெஹ்வாஹ், ஹின்னே அஷெர்-பானீதீ அனி ஹோரேஸ், வெஏத் அஷெர்-நாதாதீ அனி நோதேஷ்; வெஎத்-கொல்-ஹாஆரெட்ஸ், ஹீ.
Thus shalt thou say unto him: Thus saith the LORD: Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up; and this in the whole land.

וְאַתָּה תְּבַקֶּשׁ-לְךָ גְדֹלוֹת, אַל-תְּבַקֵּשׁ: כִּי הִנְנִי מֵבִיא רָעָה עַל-כָּל-בָּשָׂר, נְאֻם-יְהוָה, וְנָתַתִּי לְךָ אֶת-נַפְשְׁךָ לְשָׁלָל, עַל כָּל-הַמְּקֹמוֹת אֲשֶׁר תֵּלֶךְ-שָׁם.
வெஅத்தாஹ் தெவக்கேஷ்-லெகா கதொலோத், அல்-தெவக்கேஷ்: கீ ஹின்னெனி மேவீ ராஆ அல்-கொல்-பாஸார், நெஉம்-யெஹ்வாஹ், வெநாதத்தீ லெகா எத்-நாப்ஷெகா லெஷாலால், அல் கொல்-ஹமகோமோத் அஷெர் தேலெக்-ஷாம்.
And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not; for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD; but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.'
