כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה, לִמְשִׁיחוֹ לְכוֹרֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר-הֶחֱזַקְתִּי בִימִינוֹ לְרַד-לְפָנָיו גּוֹיִם, וּמָתְנֵי מְלָכִים, אֲפַתֵּחַ--לִפְתֹּחַ לְפָנָיו דְּלָתַיִם, וּשְׁעָרִים לֹא יִסָּגֵרוּ.
koh-amar YHWH, limshikho lekhoresh asher-hekheztikti vimino lerad-lefanayim goyim, umatnei melakhim, afateakh--liftokh lefanayim delatayim, ushearim lo yisageru.
Thus saith the LORD to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and to loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and that the gates may not be shut:
2.
אֲנִי לְפָנֶיךָ אֵלֵךְ, וַהֲדוּרִים אושר אֲיַשֵּׁר; דַּלְתוֹת נְחוּשָׁה אֲשַׁבֵּר, וּבְרִיחֵי בַרְזֶל אֲגַדֵּעַ.
Ani lefanekha elekh, vahadurim ushar ayasher; daltot nekhushah ashaber, uverikhei barzel agade'a.
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the doors of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron;

וְנָתַתִּי לְךָ אוֹצְרוֹת חֹשֶׁךְ, וּמַטְמֻנֵי מִסְתָּרִים: לְמַעַן תֵּדַע, כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָה הַקּוֹרֵא בְשִׁמְךָ--אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
Venatatti lekha otzorot khoshek, umatmunei mistarim: lema'an teda, ki-ani YHWH haKore veshimkha--Elohei Yisrael.
And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I am the LORD, who call thee by thy name, even the God of Israel.
4.
לְמַעַן עַבְדִּי יַעֲקֹב, וְיִשְׂרָאֵל בְּחִירִי; וָאֶקְרָא לְךָ בִּשְׁמֶךָ, אֲכַנְּךָ וְלֹא יְדַעְתָּנִי.
Lema'an avdi Ya'akov, veYisrael bkhiri; va'ekra lekha bishmekha, akhannkha velo yeda'tani.
For the sake of Jacob My servant, and Israel Mine elect, I have called thee by thy name, I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known Me.
5.
אֲנִי יְהוָה וְאֵין עוֹד, זוּלָתִי אֵין אֱלֹהִים; אֲאַזֶּרְךָ, וְלֹא יְדַעְתָּנִי.
Ani YHWH ve'ein od, zulati ein Elohim; a'azerkha, velo yeda'tani.
I am the LORD, and there is none else, beside Me there is no God; I have girded thee, though thou hast not known Me;
6.
לְמַעַן יֵדְעוּ, מִמִּזְרַח-שֶׁמֶשׁ וּמִמַּעֲרָבָה, כִּי-אֶפֶס, בִּלְעָדָי: אֲנִי יְהוָה, וְאֵין עוֹד.
lema'an yede'u, mimmizrach-shemesh umimma'aravah, ki-efes, bil'aday: ani YHWH, ve'ein od.
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside Me; I am the LORD; and there is none else;
7.
יוֹצֵר אוֹר וּבוֹרֵא חֹשֶׁךְ, עֹשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם וּבוֹרֵא רָע; אֲנִי יְהוָה, עֹשֶׂה כָל-אֵלֶּה.
yotzer or uvore khoshek, oseh shalom uvore ra; ani YHWH, oseh khol-elleh.
I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am the LORD, that doeth all these things.
8.
הַרְעִיפוּ שָׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל, וּשְׁחָקִים יִזְּלוּ-צֶדֶק; תִּפְתַּח-אֶרֶץ וְיִפְרוּ-יֶשַׁע, וּצְדָקָה תַצְמִיחַ יַחַד--אֲנִי יְהוָה, בְּרָאתִיו.
har'ifu shamayim mimma'al, ushkhakim yizzelu-tzedek; tiftakh-eretz veyifru-yesha, utzedakah tatzmiakh yakhad--ani YHWH, berativ.
Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, that they may bring forth salvation, and let her cause righteousness to spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
9.
הוֹי, רָב אֶת-יֹצְרוֹ--חֶרֶשׂ, אֶת-חַרְשֵׂי אֲדָמָה; הֲיֹאמַר חֹמֶר לְיֹצְרוֹ מַה-תַּעֲשֶׂה, וּפָעָלְךָ אֵין-יָדַיִם לוֹ.
hoy, rav et-yotzoro--kheres, et-kharsei adamah; hayomar khomer leyotzoro mah-ta'aseh, ufo'alkha ein-yadayim lo.
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker, as a potsherd with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioned it: 'What makest thou?' Or: 'Thy work, it hath no hands'?
10.
הוֹי אֹמֵר לְאָב, מַה-תּוֹלִיד; וּלְאִשָּׁה, מַה-תְּחִילִין.
Hoy omer le'av, mah-tolid; ule'ishah, mah-techilin.
Woe unto him that saith unto his father: 'Wherefore begettest thou?' Or to a woman: 'Wherefore travailest thou?'
11.
כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְיֹצְרוֹ: הָאֹתִיּוֹת שְׁאָלוּנִי, עַל-בָּנַי וְעַל-פֹּעַל יָדַי תְּצַוֻּנִי.
Koh-amar YHWH kedosh Yisrael, veyotzoro: ha'otiyot she'aluni, al-banay veal-po'al yaday tetsavuni.
Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask Me of the things that are to come; concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands, command ye Me.
12.
אָנֹכִי עָשִׂיתִי אֶרֶץ, וְאָדָם עָלֶיהָ בָרָאתִי; אֲנִי, יָדַי נָטוּ שָׁמַיִם, וְכָל-צְבָאָם, צִוֵּיתִי.
Anokhi ashiti eretz, ve'adam aleha varati; ani, yaday natu shamayim, vekhal-tseva'am, tsuviti.
I, even I, have made the earth, and created man upon it; I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
13.
אָנֹכִי הַעִירֹתִהוּ בְצֶדֶק, וְכָל-דְּרָכָיו אֲיַשֵּׁר; הוּא-יִבְנֶה עִירִי, וְגָלוּתִי יְשַׁלֵּחַ--לֹא בִמְחִיר וְלֹא בְשֹׁחַד, אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת.
Anokhi ha'irotihu vetsedek, vekhal-derakhav ayasher; hu-yivneh iri, vegaluti yeshale'ach--lo vimchir velo veshochad, amar YHWH tseva'ot.
I have roused him up in victory, and I make level all his ways; he shall build My city, and he shall let Mine exiles go free, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
14.
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה, יְגִיעַ מִצְרַיִם וּסְחַר-כּוּשׁ וּסְבָאִים אַנְשֵׁי מִדָּה, עָלַיִךְ יַעֲבֹרוּ וְלָךְ יִהְיוּ, אַחֲרַיִךְ יֵלֵכוּ בַּזִּקִּים יַעֲבֹרוּ; וְאֵלַיִךְ יִשְׁתַּחֲווּ אֵלַיִךְ יִתְפַּלָּלוּ, אַךְ בָּךְ אֵל וְאֵין עוֹד אֶפֶס אֱלֹהִים.
Koh amar YHWH, yegi'a Mitzrayim us'khar-Kush us'va'im anshei middah, alayikh ya'avoru ve'lakh yihyu, akharayikh yelekhu bazzikkim ya'avoru; ve'elayikh yishtakhavu elayikh yitpallalu, akh bakh El ve'ein od efes Elohim.
Thus saith the LORD: The labour of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine; they shall go after thee, in chains they shall come over; and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee: Surely God is in thee, and there is none else, there is no other God.
15.
אָכֵן, אַתָּה אֵל מִסְתַּתֵּר--אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, מוֹשִׁיעַ.
Akhen, attah El mistatter--Elohei Yisrael, moshia'.
Verily Thou art a God that hidest Thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
16.
בּוֹשׁוּ וְגַם-נִכְלְמוּ, כֻּלָּם: יַחְדָּו הָלְכוּ בַכְּלִמָּה, חָרָשֵׁי צִירִים.
Boshu vegam-nikhlamu, kullan: yakhdav halekhu vakhkhelimah, kharshei tzirim.
They shall be ashamed, yea, confounded, all of them; they shall go in confusion together that are makers of idols.
17.
יִשְׂרָאֵל נוֹשַׁע בַּיהוָה, תְּשׁוּעַת עוֹלָמִים: לֹא-תֵבֹשׁוּ וְלֹא-תִכָּלְמוּ, עַד-עוֹלְמֵי עַד.
Yisrael nosha' baYHWH, tshu'at olamim: lo-tevoshu ve'lo-tikkalmu, ad-olmei ad.
O Israel, that art saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18.
כִּי כֹה אָמַר-יְהוָה בּוֹרֵא הַשָּׁמַיִם הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים, יֹצֵר הָאָרֶץ וְעֹשָׂהּ הוּא כוֹנְנָהּ--לֹא-תֹהוּ בְרָאָהּ, לָשֶׁבֶת יְצָרָהּ; אֲנִי יְהוָה, וְאֵין עוֹד.
ki kho amar-YHWH bore hashamayim hu ha'Elohim, yotzer ha'aretz ve'osah hu khonenh--lo-tohu vera'ah, lashevet yetzarah; ani YHWH, ve'ein od.
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens, He is God; that formed the earth and made it, He established it, He created it not a waste, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD, and there is none else.
19.
לֹא בַסֵּתֶר דִּבַּרְתִּי, בִּמְקוֹם אֶרֶץ חֹשֶׁךְ--לֹא אָמַרְתִּי לְזֶרַע יַעֲקֹב, תֹּהוּ בַקְּשׁוּנִי; אֲנִי יְהוָה דֹּבֵר צֶדֶק, מַגִּיד מֵישָׁרִים.
lo vaseter dibarti, bimqom eretz khoshekh--lo amarti lezera Ya'akov, tohu vaq'shuni; ani YHWH dover tzedek, magid meysharim.
I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I said not unto the seed of Jacob: 'Seek ye Me in vain'; I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
20.
הִקָּבְצוּ וָבֹאוּ הִתְנַגְּשׁוּ יַחְדָּו, פְּלִיטֵי הַגּוֹיִם; לֹא יָדְעוּ, הַנֹּשְׂאִים אֶת-עֵץ פִּסְלָם, וּמִתְפַּלְלִים, אֶל-אֵל לֹא יוֹשִׁיעַ.
hiqavtzu vavo'u hitnageshu yakhdav, pelitei hagoyim; lo yade'u, hanos'im et-etz pislam, umitpalalim, el-el lo yoshi'a.
Assemble yourselves and come, draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations; they have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21.
הַגִּידוּ וְהַגִּישׁוּ, אַף יִוָּעֲצוּ יַחְדָּו: מִי הִשְׁמִיעַ זֹאת מִקֶּדֶם מֵאָז הִגִּידָהּ, הֲלוֹא אֲנִי יְהוָה וְאֵין-עוֹד אֱלֹהִים מִבַּלְעָדַי--אֵל-צַדִּיק וּמוֹשִׁיעַ, אַיִן זוּלָתִי.
hagidu vehagishu, af yiva'atzu yakhdav: mi hishmi'a zot miqedem me'az higidah, halo ani YHWH ve'ein-od Elohim mibal'adai--el-tzadiq umoshi'a, ayin zulati.
Declare ye, and bring them near, yea, let them take counsel together: Who hath announced this from ancient time, and declared it of old? Have not I the LORD? And there is no God else beside Me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside Me.
22.
פְּנוּ-אֵלַי וְהִוָּשְׁעוּ, כָּל-אַפְסֵי-אָרֶץ: כִּי אֲנִי-אֵל, וְאֵין עוֹד.
pnu-elay vehivashe'u, kol-apsei-aretz: ki ani-el, ve'ein od.
Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.
23.
בִּי נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי--יָצָא מִפִּי צְדָקָה דָּבָר, וְלֹא יָשׁוּב: כִּי-לִי תִּכְרַע כָּל-בֶּרֶךְ, תִּשָּׁבַע כָּל-לָשׁוֹן.
bi nishba'ti--yatsa mipi tzedakah davar, velo yashuv: ki-li tikhra kol-berekh, tishava kol-lashon.
By Myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from My mouth in righteousness, and shall not come back, that unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24.
אַךְ בַּיהוָה לִי אָמַר, צְדָקוֹת וָעֹז; עָדָיו יָבוֹא וְיֵבֹשׁוּ, כֹּל הַנֶּחֱרִים בּוֹ.
akh baAdonai li amar, tzedakot va'oz; aday yavo veyevoshu, kol hanecherim bo.
Only in the LORD, shall one say of Me, is victory and strength; even to Him shall men come in confusion, all they that were incensed against Him.
25.
בַּיהוָה יִצְדְּקוּ וְיִתְהַלְלוּ, כָּל-זֶרַע יִשְׂרָאֵל.
baAdonai yitzdeku veyithallelu, kol-zera Yisrael.
In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
