וּכְהִתְפַּלֵּל עֶזְרָא, וּכְהִתְוַדֹּתוֹ, בֹּכֶה וּמִתְנַפֵּל, לִפְנֵי בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים: נִקְבְּצוּ אֵלָיו מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל קָהָל רַב-מְאֹד, אֲנָשִׁים וְנָשִׁים וִילָדִים--כִּי-בָכוּ הָעָם, הַרְבֵּה-בֶכֶה.
ukhehitpallel ezra, ukheitvadoto, bokhe umitnapel, lifnei beit ha'elohim: nikbetzu elayiv miyisrael kahal rav-me'od, anashim venashim viladim--ki-vakhu ha'am, harb-bekhe.
Now while Ezra prayed, and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there was gathered together unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children; for the people wept very sore.
