וַיְהִי דְבַר-יְהוָה, אֵלַי לֵאמֹר.
vayehi devar YHWH elay lemor.

בֶּן-אָדָם, שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ אֶל-בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן; וְהִנָּבֵא, עֲלֵיהֶם.
ben adam sim panekha el bene ammon vehinave alehem.
'Son of man, set thy face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them;
3.
וְאָמַרְתָּ לִבְנֵי עַמּוֹן, שִׁמְעוּ דְּבַר-אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה: כֹּה-אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן אָמְרֵךְ הֶאָח אֶל-מִקְדָּשִׁי כִי-נִחָל, וְאֶל-אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי נָשַׁמָּה, וְאֶל-בֵּית יְהוּדָה, כִּי הָלְכוּ בַּגּוֹלָה.
ve'amarta livnei ammon shim'u devar Adonai YHwi koh amar Adonai YHwi ya'an amrekh he'akh el mikdashi ki nikhal ve'el admat Yisrael ki nashamah ve'el beit Yehudah ki halekhu bagolah.
and say unto the children of Ammon: Hear the word of the Lord GOD: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou saidst: Aha! against My sanctuary, when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
4.
לָכֵן הִנְנִי נֹתְנָךְ לִבְנֵי-קֶדֶם לְמוֹרָשָׁה, וְיִשְּׁבוּ טִירוֹתֵיהֶם בָּךְ, וְנָתְנוּ בָךְ, מִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶם; הֵמָּה יֹאכְלוּ פִרְיֵךְ, וְהֵמָּה יִשְׁתּוּ חֲלָבֵךְ.
laken hinni notenakh livnei-kedem lemorashah, veyishvu tiroteihem bakh, venatnu bakh, mishkeneihem; hemma yokhelu firyekh, vehemma yishtu khalavekh.
therefore, behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

וְנָתַתִּי אֶת-רַבָּה לִנְוֵה גְמַלִּים, וְאֶת-בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן לְמִרְבַּץ-צֹאן; וִידַעְתֶּם, כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָה.
venatati et-rabbah linveh gemallim, ve'et-benei ammon lemirpatz-tzon; viyadtem, ki-ani YHWH.
And I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the children of Ammon a couching-place for flocks; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
6.
כִּי כֹה אָמַר, אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, יַעַן מַחְאֲךָ יָד, וְרַקְעֲךָ בְּרָגֶל; וַתִּשְׂמַח בְּכָל-שָׁאטְךָ בְּנֶפֶשׁ, אֶל-אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ki kho amar, Adonai YHwi, ya'an makh'akha yad, verark'akha beragel; vattismakh bekhal-sha'tekha benefesh, el-admat Yisrael.
For thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the disdain of thy soul against the land of Israel;
7.
לָכֵן הִנְנִי נָטִיתִי אֶת-יָדִי עָלֶיךָ, וּנְתַתִּיךָ לבג לְבַז לַגּוֹיִם, וְהִכְרַתִּיךָ מִן-הָעַמִּים, וְהַאֲבַדְתִּיךָ מִן-הָאֲרָצוֹת; אַשְׁמִידְךָ, וְיָדַעְתָּ כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָה.
laken hinni natiti et-yadi alekha, unetatikha levaz laggoyim, vehikhratikha min-ha'ammim, veha'avadtikha min-ha'aratzot; ashmidkha, veyadata ki-ani YHWH.
therefore, behold, I stretch out My hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries; I will destroy thee, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
8.
כֹּה אָמַר, אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה: יַעַן, אֲמֹר מוֹאָב וְשֵׂעִיר, הִנֵּה כְּכָל-הַגּוֹיִם, בֵּית יְהוּדָה.
Koh amar, Adonai YHWH: ya'an, amor Mo'av ve-Se'ir, hinneh kekhol-haggoyim, beit Yehudah.
Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because that Moab and Seir do say: Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations,
9.
לָכֵן הִנְנִי פֹתֵחַ אֶת-כֶּתֶף מוֹאָב, מֵהֶעָרִים--מֵעָרָיו, מִקָּצֵהוּ: צְבִי, אֶרֶץ בֵּית הַיְשִׁימֹת--בַּעַל מְעוֹן, וקריתמה וְקִרְיָתָיְמָה.
Lakhen hinni pote'ah et-ketef Mo'av, mehe'arim--me'arav, miqqatzehu: tzevi, eretz beit hayeshimot--Ba'al me'on, uqiryatamah ve-qiryataymah.
therefore, behold, I will open the flank of Moab on the side of the cities, on the side of his cities which are on his frontiers, the beauteous country of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,
10.
לִבְנֵי-קֶדֶם עַל-בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן, וּנְתַתִּיהָ לְמוֹרָשָׁה, לְמַעַן לֹא-תִזָּכֵר בְּנֵי-עַמּוֹן, בַּגּוֹיִם.
Livnei-qedem al-bnei Ammon, unetattiha lemorashah, lema'an lo-tizzakher bnei-Ammon, haggoyim.
together with the children of Ammon, unto the children of the east, and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations;
11.
וּבְמוֹאָב, אֶעֱשֶׂה שְׁפָטִים; וְיָדְעוּ, כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָה.
UvMo'av, e'eseh shefatim; veyade'u, ki-ani YHWH.
and I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
12.
כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, יַעַן עֲשׂוֹת אֱדוֹם בִּנְקֹם נָקָם לְבֵית יְהוּדָה--וַיֶּאְשְׁמוּ אָשׁוֹם, וְנִקְּמוּ בָהֶם.
koh amar Adonai YHWH, ya'an asot Edom binqom naqam leveit Yehuda--vayy'eshmu ashom, veniqmu vahem.
Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
13.
לָכֵן, כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, וְנָטִתִי יָדִי עַל-אֱדוֹם, וְהִכְרַתִּי מִמֶּנָּה אָדָם וּבְהֵמָה; וּנְתַתִּיהָ חָרְבָּה מִתֵּימָן, וּדְדָנֶה בַּחֶרֶב יִפֹּלוּ.
laken, koh amar Adonai YHWH, venatiti yadi al-Edom, vehikhratti mimmenna adam uvehemah; unetatiha kharbah mitteyman, udedaneh ba-kherev yippolu.
therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: I will stretch out My hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman, even unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.
14.
וְנָתַתִּי אֶת-נִקְמָתִי בֶּאֱדוֹם, בְּיַד עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְעָשׂוּ בֶאֱדוֹם, כְּאַפִּי וְכַחֲמָתִי; וְיָדְעוּ, אֶת-נִקְמָתִי--נְאֻם, אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה.
venatati et-niqmati be-Edom, beyad ammi Yisrael, ve'asu ve-Edom, ke'appi ve-chakhamati; veyade'u, et-niqmati--ne'um, Adonai YHWH.
And I will lay My vengeance upon Edom by the hand of My people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to Mine anger and according to My fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
15.
כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, יַעַן עֲשׂוֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּים בִּנְקָמָה; וַיִּנָּקְמוּ נָקָם בִּשְׁאָט בְּנֶפֶשׁ, לְמַשְׁחִית אֵיבַת עוֹלָם.
koh amar Adonai YHWH, ya'an asot pelishtim binqamah; vayyinnaqumu naqam bishat benefesh, lemashkhit eyvat olam.
Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with disdain of soul to destroy, for the old hatred;
16.
לָכֵן, כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, הִנְנִי נוֹטֶה יָדִי עַל-פְּלִשְׁתִּים, וְהִכְרַתִּי אֶת-כְּרֵתִים; וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי, אֶת-שְׁאֵרִית חוֹף הַיָּם.
lakhen, koh amar Adonai YHWH, hinnini noteh yadi al-pelishtim, vehikhrati et-keretim; veha'avadti, et-she'erit khof hayam.
therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will stretch out My hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea-coast.
17.
וְעָשִׂיתִי בָם נְקָמוֹת גְּדֹלוֹת, בְּתוֹכְחוֹת חֵמָה; וְיָדְעוּ כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָה, בְּתִתִּי אֶת-נִקְמָתִי בָּם.
ve'asiti vam nekamot gedolot, betokhokhot khemah; veyade'u ki-ani YHWH, betiti et-nikmati bam.
And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay My vengeance upon them.'
