1.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, עוֹד נֶגַע אֶחָד אָבִיא עַל-פַּרְעֹה וְעַל-מִצְרַיִם--אַחֲרֵי-כֵן, יְשַׁלַּח אֶתְכֶם מִזֶּה: כְּשַׁלְּחוֹ--כָּלָה, גָּרֵשׁ יְגָרֵשׁ אֶתְכֶם מִזֶּה.
Vayomer YHWH el-Moshe, od nega echad avi al-Paroh ve'al-Mitzrayim--acharei-khen, yeshalach etkhem mizeh: keshalcho--kalah, garesh yegaresh etkhem mizeh.
And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence; when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

דַּבֶּר-נָא, בְּאָזְנֵי הָעָם; וְיִשְׁאֲלוּ אִישׁ מֵאֵת רֵעֵהוּ, וְאִשָּׁה מֵאֵת רְעוּתָהּ, כְּלֵי-כֶסֶף, וּכְלֵי זָהָב.
dabber-na, be'oznei ha'am; veyish'alu ish me'et re'ehu, ve'ishshah me'et re'utah, keli-kesef, ukhlei zahav.
Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.'

וַיִּתֵּן יְהוָה אֶת-חֵן הָעָם, בְּעֵינֵי מִצְרָיִם; גַּם הָאִישׁ מֹשֶׁה, גָּדוֹל מְאֹד בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, בְּעֵינֵי עַבְדֵי-פַרְעֹה, וּבְעֵינֵי הָעָם.
vayitten YHWH et-khen ha'am, be'einei Mitzrayim; gam ha'ish Moshe, gadol me'od be'eretz Mitzrayim, be'einei avdei-Far'oh, uve'einei ha'am.
And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
4.
וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה: כַּחֲצֹת הַלַּיְלָה, אֲנִי יוֹצֵא בְּתוֹךְ מִצְרָיִם.
Vayomer Moshe, koh amar YHWH: kachatzot hallaylah, ani yotzei betokh Mitzrayim.
And Moses said: 'Thus saith the LORD: About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt;

וּמֵת כָּל-בְּכוֹר, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם--מִבְּכוֹר פַּרְעֹה הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל-כִּסְאוֹ, עַד בְּכוֹר הַשִּׁפְחָה אֲשֶׁר אַחַר הָרֵחָיִם; וְכֹל, בְּכוֹר בְּהֵמָה.
umet kol-bekhor, be'eretz mitzrayim--mibekhor par'oh hayoshev 'al-kis'o, 'ad bekhor hashifkhah asher akhar harekhayim; vekhol, bekhor behemah.
and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle.
6.
וְהָיְתָה צְעָקָה גְדֹלָה, בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם, אֲשֶׁר כָּמֹהוּ לֹא נִהְיָתָה, וְכָמֹהוּ לֹא תֹסִף.
vehayetah tze'akah gedolah, bekhol-eretz Mitzrayim, asher kamohu lo nihyatah, vekamohu lo tosif.
And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath been none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
7.
וּלְכֹל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֹא יֶחֱרַץ-כֶּלֶב לְשֹׁנוֹ, לְמֵאִישׁ, וְעַד-בְּהֵמָה--לְמַעַן, תֵּדְעוּן, אֲשֶׁר יַפְלֶה יְהוָה, בֵּין מִצְרַיִם וּבֵין יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ul'khol bene Yisrael lo yekheratz-kelev leshono leme'ish ve'ad-behemah lema'an tede'un asher yafleh YHWH bein Mitzrayim uvein Yisrael.
But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog whet his tongue, against man or beast; that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
8.
וְיָרְדוּ כָל-עֲבָדֶיךָ אֵלֶּה אֵלַי וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ-לִי לֵאמֹר, צֵא אַתָּה וְכָל-הָעָם אֲשֶׁר-בְּרַגְלֶיךָ, וְאַחֲרֵי-כֵן, אֵצֵא; וַיֵּצֵא מֵעִם-פַּרְעֹה, בָּחֳרִי-אָף.
veyaredu khol-avadeykha elleh elay vehishtachavvu-li lemor, tze attah vekhol-ha'am asher-beregleykha, ve'acharey-khen, etze; vayyetze me'im-par'oh, bachori-af.
And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down unto me, saying: Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee; and after that I will go out.' And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.
9.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, לֹא-יִשְׁמַע אֲלֵיכֶם פַּרְעֹה--לְמַעַן רְבוֹת מוֹפְתַי, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.
vayomer YHWH el-Moshe, lo-yishma aleikhem Par'oh--lema'an revot mofetay, be'eretz Mitzrayim.
And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.'
10.
וּמֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן, עָשׂוּ אֶת-כָּל-הַמֹּפְתִים הָאֵלֶּה--לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה; וַיְחַזֵּק יְהוָה אֶת-לֵב פַּרְעֹה, וְלֹא-שִׁלַּח אֶת-בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְצוֹ.
umoshe ve'aharon, ashu et-kol-hamofetim ha'eleh--lifnei far'oh; vaykhazek YHWH et-lev far'oh, velo-shillakh et-benei-Yisrael me'artzo.
And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
