זְבוּבֵי מָוֶת, יַבְאִישׁ יַבִּיעַ שֶׁמֶן רוֹקֵחַ; יָקָר מֵחָכְמָה מִכָּבוֹד, סִכְלוּת מְעָט.
செவூவே மாவெத், யாவ்இஷ் யப்பீஅ ஷேமென் ரோகேஹ்; யாகார் மேஹொக்மா மிகாவோத், சிக்லுத் மெஆத்.
Dead flies make the ointment of the perfumer fetid and putrid; so doth a little folly outweigh wisdom and honour.

לֵב חָכָם לִימִינוֹ, וְלֵב כְּסִיל לִשְׂמֹאלוֹ.
லேவ் ஹாகாம் லீமீனோ, வெலேவ் கெஸில் லிஸ்மோலோ.
A wise man's understanding is at his right hand; but a fool's understanding at his left.

וְגַם-בַּדֶּרֶךְ כשהסכל כְּשֶׁסָּכָל הֹלֵךְ, לִבּוֹ חָסֵר; וְאָמַר לַכֹּל, סָכָל הוּא.
வேகாம்-பத்தேரெக் கெஷெஸாகால் ஹோலேக், லிப்போ ஹாஸேர்; வெஆமார் லாகோல், ஸாகால் ஹூ.
Yea also, when a fool walketh by the way, his understanding faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.

אִם-רוּחַ הַמּוֹשֵׁל תַּעֲלֶה עָלֶיךָ, מְקוֹמְךָ אַל-תַּנַּח: כִּי מַרְפֵּא, יַנִּיחַ חֲטָאִים גְּדוֹלִים.
இம்-ரூஅஹ் ஹாம்மோஷேல் தஅலே அலேகா, மெகோமெகா அல்-தந்நாஹ்: கீ மார்ப்பே, யந்நீஅஹ் ஹதாயிம் கெதோலிம்.
If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for gentleness allayeth great offences.

יֵשׁ רָעָה, רָאִיתִי תַּחַת הַשָּׁמֶשׁ--כִּשְׁגָגָה, שֶׁיֹּצָא מִלִּפְנֵי הַשַּׁלִּיט.
யேஷ் ராஆ, ராஇதி தஹத் ஹாஷாமெஷ்--கிஷ்காகா, ஷெய்யோஸா மிலிப்னே ஹாஷல்லீத்.
There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, like an error which proceedeth from a ruler:

נִתַּן הַסֶּכֶל, בַּמְּרוֹמִים רַבִּים; וַעֲשִׁירִים, בַּשֵּׁפֶל יֵשֵׁבוּ.
நித்தான் ஹாஸேகெல், பாம்ெரோமிம் ரப்பிம்; வாஅஷீரிம், பாஷேபெல் யேஷேவூ.
Folly is set on great heights, and the rich sit in low place.

רָאִיתִי עֲבָדִים, עַל-סוּסִים; וְשָׂרִים הֹלְכִים כַּעֲבָדִים, עַל-הָאָרֶץ.
ராஇதி அவாதிம், அல்-ஸூஸிம்; வெஸாரிம் ஹோல்கிம் காஅவாதிம், அல்-ஹஆரெஸ்.
I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

חֹפֵר גּוּמָּץ, בּוֹ יִפּוֹל; וּפֹרֵץ גָּדֵר, יִשְּׁכֶנּוּ נָחָשׁ.
ஹோபேர் கூம்மாஸ், போ யிப்போல்; உபோரேஸ் காதேர், யிஷ்ஷெகெந்நூ நாஹாஷ்.
He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh through a fence, a serpent shall bite him.
9.
מַסִּיעַ אֲבָנִים, יֵעָצֵב בָּהֶם; בּוֹקֵעַ עֵצִים, יִסָּכֶן בָּם.
மஸ்ஸீஅ அவானிம், யேஆஸேவ் பாஹெம்; போகேஅ ஏஸீம், யிஸ்ஸாகென் பாம்.
Whoso quarrieth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood is endangered thereby.
10.
אִם-קֵהָה הַבַּרְזֶל, וְהוּא לֹא-פָנִים קִלְקַל, וַחֲיָלִים, יְגַבֵּר; וְיִתְרוֹן הַכְשֵׁיר, חָכְמָה.
இம்-கேஹா ஹாபார்ஸெல், வெஹூ லோ-பானிம் கில்கால், வஹயாலிம், யேகப்பேர்; வெயித்ரோன் ஹெக்ஷேர், ஹொக்மா.
If the iron be blunt, and one do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength; but wisdom is profitable to direct.
11.
אִם-יִשֹּׁךְ הַנָּחָשׁ, בְּלוֹא-לָחַשׁ; וְאֵין יִתְרוֹן, לְבַעַל הַלָּשׁוֹן.
இம்-யிஷ்ஷாக் ஹாநாஹாஷ், பெலோ-லாஹாஷ்; வேன் யித்ரோன், லெவாஅல் ஹாலாஷோன்.
If the serpent bite before it is charmed, then the charmer hath no advantage.
12.
דִּבְרֵי פִי-חָכָם, חֵן; וְשִׂפְתוֹת כְּסִיל, תְּבַלְּעֶנּוּ.
திவ்ரே பீ-ஹாகாம், ஹேன்; வெஷிப்தோத் கெஸில், தெவல்லேஎந்நூ.
The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
13.
תְּחִלַּת דִּבְרֵי-פִיהוּ, סִכְלוּת; וְאַחֲרִית פִּיהוּ, הוֹלֵלוּת רָעָה.
தெஹில்லத் திவ்ரே-பீஹூ, சிக்லுத்; வெஅஹரித் பீஹூ, ஹோலேலுத் ராஆ.
The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is grievous madness.
14.
וְהַסָּכָל, יַרְבֶּה דְבָרִים; לֹא-יֵדַע הָאָדָם, מַה-שֶּׁיִּהְיֶה, וַאֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה מֵאַחֲרָיו, מִי יַגִּיד לוֹ.
வெஹாஸாகால், யார்பே தவாரிம்; லோ-யேதா ஹாதாம், மா-ஷெய்யிஹ்யே, வாஷெர் யிஹ்யே மேஅஹராவ், மீ யக்கீத் லோ.
A fool also multiplieth words; yet man knoweth not what shall be; and that which shall be after him, who can tell him?
15.
עֲמַל הַכְּסִילִים, תְּיַגְּעֶנּוּ--אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יָדַע, לָלֶכֶת אֶל-עִיר.
அமல் ஹக்கிஸீலீம் தியக்கேயென்னூ அஷெர் லோ யாதா லாலெகெத் எல் ஈர்
The labour of fools wearieth every one of them, for he knoweth not how to go to the city.
16.
אִי-לָךְ אֶרֶץ, שֶׁמַּלְכֵּךְ נָעַר; וְשָׂרַיִךְ, בַּבֹּקֶר יֹאכֵלוּ.
ஈ லாக் எரெட்ஸ் ஷெம்மல்கேக் நாஅர் வெஸாராயிக் பாபோகெர் யோகேலூ
Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a boy, and thy princes feast in the morning!
17.
אַשְׁרֵיךְ אֶרֶץ, שֶׁמַּלְכֵּךְ בֶּן-חוֹרִים; וְשָׂרַיִךְ בָּעֵת יֹאכֵלוּ, בִּגְבוּרָה וְלֹא בַשְּׁתִי.
அஷ்ரேக் எரெட்ஸ் ஷெம்மல்கேக் பென் கோரீம் வெஸாராயிக் பாஏத் யோகேலூ பிக்பூரா வெலோ பாஷ்தீ
Happy art thou, O land, when thy king is a free man, and thy princes eat in due season, in strength, and not in drunkenness!
18.
בַּעֲצַלְתַּיִם, יִמַּךְ הַמְּקָרֶה; וּבְשִׁפְלוּת יָדַיִם, יִדְלֹף הַבָּיִת.
பாஅட்சல்தாயிம் யிம்மக் ஹம்காரெ உபெஷிப்லூத் யாதாயிம் யித்லோப் ஹபாயித்
By slothfulness the rafters sink in; and through idleness of the hands the house leaketh.
19.
לִשְׂחוֹק עֹשִׂים לֶחֶם, וְיַיִן יְשַׂמַּח חַיִּים; וְהַכֶּסֶף, יַעֲנֶה אֶת-הַכֹּל.
லிஸ்கோக் ஓஸீம் லெஹெம் வெயாயின் யெஸம்மஹ் ஹய்யீம் வெஹகெஸெப் யஅனெ எத் ஹகோல்
A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh glad the life; and money answereth all things.
20.
גַּם בְּמַדָּעֲךָ, מֶלֶךְ אַל-תְּקַלֵּל, וּבְחַדְרֵי מִשְׁכָּבְךָ, אַל-תְּקַלֵּל עָשִׁיר: כִּי עוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם יוֹלִיךְ אֶת-הַקּוֹל, וּבַעַל הכנפים כְּנָפַיִם יַגֵּיד דָּבָר.
கம் பெமத்தாஅகா மெலெக் அல் தகல்லேல் உபெஹத்ரே மிஷ்காவகா அல் தகல்லேல் ஆஷீர் கீ ஓப் ஹஷாமாயிம் யோலீக் எத் ஹகோல் உபஅல் கெனாபாயிம் யக்கீத் தாவார்
Curse not the king, no, not in thy thought, and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber; for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
