מַעֲנֶה-רַּךְ, יָשִׁיב חֵמָה; וּדְבַר-עֶצֶב, יַעֲלֶה-אָף.
മാഅനേ രാഖ് യാശീവ് ഹേമാ ഉദ്വർ എത്സെവ് യാഅലെ ആഫ്
A soft answer turneth away wrath; but a grievous word stirreth up anger.

2.
לְשׁוֹן חֲכָמִים, תֵּיטִיב דָּעַת; וּפִי כְסִילִים, יַבִּיעַ אִוֶּלֶת.
ലെഷോൺ ഹഖാമീം തേയ്തീവ് ദാഅത് ഉഫീ ഖെസീലീം യബ്ബീയാ ഇവെലെത്
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright; but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
3.
בְּכָל-מָקוֹם, עֵינֵי יְהוָה; צֹפוֹת, רָעִים וְטוֹבִים.
ബെഖൊൽ മാകോം ഏനേ അദോനായ് ത്സോഫോത് റാഈം വെതോവീം
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch upon the evil and the good.
4.
מַרְפֵּא לָשׁוֹן, עֵץ חַיִּים; וְסֶלֶף בָּהּ, שֶׁבֶר בְּרוּחַ.
മർപേ ലാഷോൺ ഏത്സ് ഹയ്യിം വെസെലെഫ് ബാഹ് ഷെവെർ ബെറൂവഹ്
A soothing tongue is a tree of life; but perverseness therein is a wound to the spirit.
5.
אֱוִיל--יִנְאַץ, מוּסַר אָבִיו; וְשֹׁמֵר תּוֹכַחַת יַעְרִים.
ഇവീൽ യിൻഅത്സ് മൂസാർ ആവീവ് വെഷോമേർ തോഖഹാത് യാഅരീം
A fool despiseth his father's correction; but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
6.
בֵּית צַדִּיק, חֹסֶן רָב; וּבִתְבוּאַת רָשָׁע נֶעְכָּרֶת.
ബേയ്ത് ത്സദ്ദീക് ഹോസെൻ റാവ് ഉവിതവൂഅത് റാശാ നെഅ്കാരെത്
In the house of the righteous is much treasure; but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
7.
שִׂפְתֵי חֲכָמִים, יְזָרוּ דָעַת; וְלֵב כְּסִילִים לֹא-כֵן.
സിഫ്തേ ഹഖാമീം യെസാരൂ ദാഅത് വെലേവ് കെസീലീം ലോ ഖേൻ
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge; but the heart of the foolish is not stedfast.
8.
זֶבַח רְשָׁעִים, תּוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה; וּתְפִלַּת יְשָׁרִים רְצוֹנוֹ.
സെവാഹ് റെശാഈം തോഅവത് അദോനായ് ഉത്ഫില്ലത് യെഷാരീം റെത്സോനോ
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD; but the prayer of the upright is His delight.
9.
תּוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה, דֶּרֶךְ רָשָׁע; וּמְרַדֵּף צְדָקָה יֶאֱהָב.
തോഅവത് അദോനായ് ദെരെഖ് റാശാ ഉമെറദ്ദേഫ് ത്സദാകാ യെഎഹാവ്
The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD; but He loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
10.
מוּסָר רָע, לְעֹזֵב אֹרַח; שׂוֹנֵא תוֹכַחַת יָמוּת.
മൂസാർ റാ ലെഓസേവ് ഓറാഹ് സോനേ തോഖഹാത് യാമൂത്
There is grievous correction for him that forsaketh the way; and he that hateth reproof shall die.
11.
שְׁאוֹל וַאֲבַדּוֹן, נֶגֶד יְהוָה; אַף, כִּי-לִבּוֹת בְּנֵי-אָדָם.
ഷെഓൽ വാഅവദ്ദോൻ നെഗെദ് അദോനായ് അഫ് കീ ലിബ്ബോത് ബെനേ ആദാം
The nether-world and Destruction are before the LORD; how much more then the hearts of the children of men!
12.
לֹא יֶאֱהַב-לֵץ, הוֹכֵחַ לוֹ; אֶל-חֲכָמִים, לֹא יֵלֵךְ.
ലോ യെഎഹാവ് ലേത്സ് ഹോഖേഹ് ലോ എൽ ഹഖാമീം ലോ യേലേേഖ്
A scorner loveth not to be reproved; he will not go unto the wise.
13.
לֵב שָׂמֵחַ, יֵיטִב פָּנִים; וּבְעַצְּבַת-לֵב, רוּחַ נְכֵאָה.
ലേവ് സാമേയഹ് യേയ്തിവ് പാനീം ഉവെഅത്സെവത് ലേവ് റൂവഹ് നെഖേആ
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance; but by sorrow of heart the spirit is broken.
14.
לֵב נָבוֹן, יְבַקֶּשׁ-דָּעַת; ופני וּפִי כְסִילִים, יִרְעֶה אִוֶּלֶת.
ലേവ് നാവോൻ യെവक्केഷ് ദാഅത് ഉഫീ ഖെസീലീം യിർഎ ഇവെലെത്
The heart of him that hath discernment seeketh knowledge; but the mouth of fools feedeth on folly.
15.
כָּל-יְמֵי עָנִי רָעִים; וְטוֹב-לֵב, מִשְׁתֶּה תָמִיד.
കോൽ യെമേ ആനീ റാഈം വെതോവ് ലേവ് മിഷ്തേ താമീദ്
All the days of the poor are evil; but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
16.
טוֹב-מְעַט, בְּיִרְאַת יְהוָה-- מֵאוֹצָר רָב, וּמְהוּמָה בוֹ.
തോവ് മെഅത് ബെയീരത് അദോനായ് മേഓത്സാർ റാവ് ഉമെഹൂമാ വോ
Better is little with the fear of the LORD, than great treasure and turmoil therewith.
17.
טוֹב אֲרֻחַת יָרָק, וְאַהֲבָה-שָׁם-- מִשּׁוֹר אָבוּס, וְשִׂנְאָה-בוֹ.
തോവ് അരുഹത് യാരാക് വെഅഹവാ ഷാം മിശ്ശോർ ആവൂസ് വെസിൻആ വോ
Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
18.
אִישׁ חֵמָה, יְגָרֶה מָדוֹן; וְאֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם, יַשְׁקִיט רִיב.
ഈഷ് ഹേമാ യെഗാരെ മാദോൻ വെഎറെഖ് അപ്പയീം യാഷ്കീത് റീവ്
A wrathful man stirreth up discord; but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
19.
דֶּרֶךְ עָצֵל, כִּמְשֻׂכַת חָדֶק; וְאֹרַח יְשָׁרִים סְלֻלָה.
ദെരെഖ് ആത്സേൽ കിമ്സുഖത് ഹാദെക് വെഓറാഹ് യെഷാരീം സെലൂലാ
The way of the sluggard is as though hedged by thorns; but the path of the upright is even.
20.
בֵּן חָכָם, יְשַׂמַּח-אָב; וּכְסִיל אָדָם, בּוֹזֶה אִמּוֹ.
ബേൻ ഹാഖാം യെസമ്മഹ് ആവ് ഉഖ്സീൽ ആദാം ബോസേ ഇമ്മോ
A wise son maketh a glad father; but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
21.
אִוֶּלֶת, שִׂמְחָה לַחֲסַר-לֵב; וְאִישׁ תְּבוּנָה, יְיַשֶּׁר-לָכֶת.
ഇവ്വെലെത് സിംഹാ ലഹാസർ ലേവ് വെഈഷ് തെവൂനാ യയശ്ശേർ ലാഖെത്
Folly is joy to him that lacketh understanding; but a man of discernment walketh straightforwards.
22.
הָפֵר מַחֲשָׁבוֹת, בְּאֵין סוֹד; וּבְרֹב יוֹעֲצִים תָּקוּם.
ഹാഫേർ മഹ്ശാവോത് ബ്ഏയിൻ സോദ് ഉവ്റോവ് യോഅത്സീം താകൂം
For want of counsel purposes are frustrated; but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
23.
שִׂמְחָה לָאִישׁ, בְּמַעֲנֵה-פִיו; וְדָבָר בְּעִתּוֹ מַה-טּוֹב.
സിംഹാ ലാഈഷ് ബെമാഅനേ ഫീവ് വെദാവാർ ബെഇത്തോ മഹ് തോവ്
A man hath joy in the answer of his mouth; and a word in due season, how good is it!
24.
אֹרַח חַיִּים, לְמַעְלָה לְמַשְׂכִּיל-- לְמַעַן סוּר, מִשְּׁאוֹל מָטָּה.
ഓറാഹ് ഹയ്യിം ലെമാഅ്ലാ ലെമസ്കീൽ ലെമാഅൻ സൂർ മിശ്ശഓൽ മാത്താ
The path of life goeth upward for the wise, that he may depart from the nether-world beneath.
25.
בֵּית גֵּאִים, יִסַּח יְהוָה; וְיַצֵּב, גְּבוּל אַלְמָנָה.
ബേയ്ത് ഗേഈം യീസ്സാഹ് അദോനായ് വെയത്സേവ് ഗ്വൂൽ അൽമാനാ
The LORD will pluck up the house of the proud; but He will establish the border of the widow.
26.
תּוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה, מַחְשְׁבוֹת רָע; וּטְהֹרִים, אִמְרֵי-נֹעַם.
തോഅവത് അദോനായ് മഹ്ശെവോത് റാ ഉത്ഹോരീം ഇമ്രേയ് നോഅം
The thoughts of wickedness are an abomination to the LORD; but words of pleasantness are pure.
27.
עֹכֵר בֵּיתוֹ, בּוֹצֵעַ בָּצַע; וְשׂוֹנֵא מַתָּנֹת יִחְיֶה.
ഓഖേർ ബേയ്തോ ബോത്സേഅ ബാത്സാ വെസോണേ മത്താനോത് യിഹ്യേ
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
28.
לֵב צַדִּיק, יֶהְגֶּה לַעֲנוֹת; וּפִי רְשָׁעִים, יַבִּיעַ רָעוֹת.
ലേവ് ത്സദ്ദീഖ് യെഹ്ഗെ ലഅനോത് ഉഫീ രെശാഈം യബ്ബീഅ് റാഓത്
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer; but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
29.
רָחוֹק יְהוָה, מֵרְשָׁעִים; וּתְפִלַּת צַדִּיקִים יִשְׁמָע.
രാഹോഖ് അദോനായ് മേരെശാഈം ഉത്ഫില്ലത് ത്സദ്ദീഖീം യിശ്മാ
The LORD is far from the wicked; but He heareth the prayer of the righteous.
30.
מְאוֹר-עֵינַיִם, יְשַׂמַּח-לֵב; שְׁמוּעָה טוֹבָה, תְּדַשֶּׁן-עָצֶם.
മെഓർ ഏനായീം യെസമ്മഹ് ലേവ് ശെമൂആ തോവാ തെദശ്ശെൻ ഓത്സെം
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart; and a good report maketh the bones fat.
31.
אֹזֶן--שֹׁמַעַת, תּוֹכַחַת חַיִּים: בְּקֶרֶב חֲכָמִים תָּלִין.
ഓസെൻ ശോമാഅത് തോഖഹാത് ഹയ്യിം ബെഖേരെവ് ഹഖാമീം താലീൻ
The ear that hearkeneth to the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
32.
פּוֹרֵעַ מוּסָר, מוֹאֵס נַפְשׁוֹ; וְשׁוֹמֵעַ תּוֹכַחַת, קוֹנֶה לֵּב.
പോറേഅ് മൂസാർ മോഏസ് നഫ്ശോ വെശോമേഅ് തോഖഹാത് ഖോണേ ലേവ്
He that refuseth correction despiseth his own soul; but he that hearkeneth to reproof getteth understanding.
33.
יִרְאַת יְהוָה, מוּסַר חָכְמָה; וְלִפְנֵי כָבוֹד עֲנָוָה.
യിർഅത് അദോനായ് മൂസാർ ഹൊഖ്മാ വെലിഫ്നേ ഖാവോദ് അനാവാ
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour goeth humility.
