בֵּן חָכָם, מוּסַר אָב; וְלֵץ, לֹא-שָׁמַע גְּעָרָה.
ബേൻ ഖാഖാം മൂസാർ ആവ് വെലേത്സ് ലോ ഷാമാ ഗെആരാ
A wise son is instructed of his father; but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

2.
מִפְּרִי פִי-אִישׁ, יֹאכַל טוֹב; וְנֶפֶשׁ בֹּגְדִים חָמָס.
മിപ്പെരീ ഫീ ഈഷ് യോഖാൽ തോവ് വെനെഫെഷ് ബോഗ്ദീം ഖാമാസ്
A man shall eat good from the fruit of his mouth; but the desire of the faithless is violence.
3.
נֹצֵר פִּיו, שֹׁמֵר נַפְשׁוֹ; פֹּשֵׂק שְׂפָתָיו, מְחִתָּה-לוֹ.
നോത്സേർ പിവ് ഷോമേർ നഫ്ഷോ പോസേഖ് സെഫാതാവ് മെഖിത്താ ലോ
He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; but for him that openeth wide his lips there shall be ruin.
4.
מִתְאַוָּה וָאַיִן, נַפְשׁוֹ עָצֵל; וְנֶפֶשׁ חָרֻצִים תְּדֻשָּׁן.
മിത്അവ്വാ വായീൻ നഫ്ഷോ ആത്സേൽ വെനെഫെഷ് ഖാരൂത്സീം തെദുശ്ശാൻ
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be abundantly gratified.
5.
דְּבַר-שֶׁקֶר, יִשְׂנָא צַדִּיק; וְרָשָׁע, יַבְאִישׁ וְיַחְפִּיר.
ദെവാർ ഷെകെർ യീസ്നാ സദ്ദീഖ് വെരാഷാ യവ്ഈഷ് വെയ്ഖ്ഫീർ
A righteous man hateth lying; but a wicked man behaveth vilely and shamefully.
6.
צְדָקָה, תִּצֹּר תָּם-דָּרֶךְ; וְרִשְׁעָה, תְּסַלֵּף חַטָּאת.
സെദാഖാ തിത്സോർ തോം ദാരെഖ് വെരിഷ്ആ തെസല്ലേഫ് ഖാത്താത്
Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7.
יֵשׁ מִתְעַשֵּׁר, וְאֵין כֹּל; מִתְרוֹשֵׁשׁ, וְהוֹן רָב.
യേഷ് മിത്അശ്ശേർ വെയ്ൻ കോൽ മിത്രോഷേഷ് വെഹോൻ റാവ്
There is that pretendeth himself rich, yet hath nothing; there is that pretendeth himself poor, yet hath great wealth.
8.
כֹּפֶר נֶפֶשׁ-אִישׁ עָשְׁרוֹ; וְרָשׁ, לֹא-שָׁמַע גְּעָרָה.
കോഫെർ നെഫെഷ് ഈഷ് ഒഷ്രോ വെരാഷ് ലോ ഷാമാ ഗെആരാ
The ransom of a man's life are his riches; but the poor heareth no threatening.
9.
אוֹר-צַדִּיקִים יִשְׂמָח; וְנֵר רְשָׁעִים יִדְעָךְ.
ഓർ സദ്ദീഖീം യീസ്മാഖ് വെനേർ രെഷാഈം യീദ്ആഖ്
The light of the righteous rejoiceth; but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
10.
רַק-בְּזָדוֹן, יִתֵּן מַצָּה; וְאֶת-נוֹעָצִים חָכְמָה.
രാഖ് ബെസാദോൻ യিত্তേൻ മാത്സാ വെഎത് നോആത്സീം ഖൊഖ്മാ
By pride cometh only contention; but with the well-advised is wisdom.
11.
הוֹן, מֵהֶבֶל יִמְעָט; וְקֹבֵץ עַל-יָד יַרְבֶּה.
ഹോൻ മേഹെവെൽ യീംആത് വെഖോവേത്സ് അൽ യാദ് യാർബെ
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished; but he that gathereth little by little shall increase.
12.
תּוֹחֶלֶת מְמֻשָּׁכָה, מַחֲלָה-לֵב; וְעֵץ חַיִּים, תַּאֲוָה בָאָה.
തോഹെലെത് മെമുശ്ശേഖാ മാഖാലാ ലേവ് വേഏത്സ് ഖയ്യീം തഅവാ വാആ
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
13.
בָּז לְדָבָר, יֵחָבֶל לוֹ; וִירֵא מִצְוָה, הוּא יְשֻׁלָּם.
വാസ് ലെദാവാർ യേഹാവെൽ ലോ വീറേ മിത്സ്ലാ ഹൂ യെഷുല്ലാം
Whoso despiseth the word shall suffer thereby; but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14.
תּוֹרַת חָכָם, מְקוֹר חַיִּים-- לָסוּר, מִמֹּקְשֵׁי מָוֶת.
തോരത് ഖാഖാം മെഖോർ ഖയ്യീം ലാസൂർ മിമ്മോഖ്ഷെ മാവെത്
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
15.
שֵׂכֶל-טוֹב, יִתֶּן-חֵן; וְדֶרֶךְ בֹּגְדִים אֵיתָן.
സേഖെൽ തോവ് യিত্তെൻ ഖേൻ വെദേരെഖ് ബോഗ്ദീം ഏയ്താൻ
Good understanding giveth grace; but the way of the faithless is harsh.
16.
כָּל-עָרוּם, יַעֲשֶׂה בְדָעַת; וּכְסִיל, יִפְרֹשׂ אִוֶּלֶת.
കോൽ ആരൂം യാഅസെ വെദാഅത് ഉഖ്സീൽ യീഫ്രോസ് ഇവെലെത്
Every prudent man dealeth with forethought; but a fool unfoldeth folly.
17.
מַלְאָךְ רָשָׁע, יִפֹּל בְּרָע; וְצִיר אֱמוּנִים מַרְפֵּא.
മാൽആഖ് രാഷാ യീപ്പോൽ ബെറാ വെത്സീർ എമൂനീം മാർപെ
A wicked messenger falleth into evil; but a faithful ambassador is health.
18.
רֵישׁ וְקָלוֹן, פּוֹרֵעַ מוּסָר; וְשֹׁמֵר תּוֹכַחַת יְכֻבָּד.
രേഷ് വെഖാലോൻ പോരേആ മൂസാർ വെഷോമേർ തോഖാഖാത് യെഖുബ്ബാദ്
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction; but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19.
תַּאֲוָה נִהְיָה, תֶּעֱרַב לְנָפֶשׁ; וְתוֹעֲבַת כְּסִילִים, סוּר מֵרָע.
തഅവാ നിഹ്യാ തെഎരവ് ലെനാഫെഷ് വെതോഅവത് കെസീലീം സൂർ മേറാ
The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; and it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20.
הלוך הוֹלֵךְ אֶת-חֲכָמִים וחכם יֶחְכָּם; וְרֹעֶה כְסִילִים יֵרוֹעַ.
ഹോലേഖ് എത് ഖാഖാമീം വേയെഹ്കാം വേരോഎ ഖെസീലീം യേരോആ
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but the companion of fools shall smart for it.
21.
חַטָּאִים, תְּרַדֵּף רָעָה; וְאֶת-צַדִּיקִים, יְשַׁלֶּם-טוֹב.
ഹത്താഈം തിറാദേഫ് റാആ വെഎത്ത്സദ്ദീകീം യെശല്ലേംതോവ്
Evil pursueth sinners; but to the righteous good shall be repaid.
22.
טוֹב--יַנְחִיל בְּנֵי-בָנִים; וְצָפוּן לַצַּדִּיק, חֵיל חוֹטֵא.
തോവ് യൻഹീൽ ബെനേവാനീം വെത്സാഫൂൻ ലത്സദ്ദീക് ഹേൽ ഹോതേ
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
23.
רָב-אֹכֶל, נִיר רָאשִׁים; וְיֵשׁ נִסְפֶּה, בְּלֹא מִשְׁפָּט.
റാവ്ഓഖെൽ നീർ റാശീം വെയേശ് നിസ്പെ ബെലോ മിശ്പാത്
Much food is in the tillage of the poor; but there is that is swept away by want of righteousness.
24.
חוֹשֵׂךְ שִׁבְטוֹ, שׂוֹנֵא בְנוֹ; וְאֹהֲבוֹ, שִׁחֲרוֹ מוּסָר.
ഹോശേഖ് ശിാവ്തോ സോനേ വെനോ വെഓഹവോ ശിഹരോ മൂസാർ
He that spareth his rod hateth his son; but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25.
צַדִּיק--אֹכֵל, לְשֹׂבַע נַפְשׁוֹ; וּבֶטֶן רְשָׁעִים תֶּחְסָר.
ത്സദ്ദീക് ഓഖേൽ ലെസോവ നഫ്ശോ ഊവെതെൻ രെശാഈം തെഹ്സാർ
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his desire; but the belly of the wicked shall want.
