וַיַּעַן אִיּוֹב, וַיֹּאמַר.
വയാഅൻ ഇയ്യോവ് വയോമാർ
Then Job answered and said:

שָׁמַעְתִּי כְאֵלֶּה רַבּוֹת; מְנַחֲמֵי עָמָל כֻּלְּכֶם.
ഷാമാഅ്തീ ഖേല്ലെ റബ്ബോത് മനാഹാമേ അമാൽ കുല്ലെഖെം
I have heard many such things; sorry comforters are ye all.
3.
הֲקֵץ לְדִבְרֵי-רוּחַ; אוֹ מַה-יַּמְרִיצְךָ, כִּי תַעֲנֶה.
ഹാകേത്സ് ലെദിവ്രേ റൂഅഹ് ഓ മാ യമ്രീത്സ്ഖാ കീ താഅനെ
Shall windy words have an end? Or what provoketh thee that thou answerest?
4.
גַּם, אָנֹכִי-- כָּכֶם אֲדַבֵּרָה:לוּ יֵשׁ נַפְשְׁכֶם, תַּחַת נַפְשִׁי-- אַחְבִּירָה עֲלֵיכֶם בְּמִלִּים;וְאָנִיעָה עֲלֵיכֶם, בְּמוֹ רֹאשִׁי.
ഗം അനോഖീ ഖാഖെം അദബ്ബേരാ ലൂ യേഷ് നഫ്ഷെഖെം താഹാത് നഫ്ഷീ അഹ്ബീരാ അലേഖെം ബെമില്ലീം വആനീയ അലേഖെം ബെമോ റോഷീ
I also could speak as ye do; if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could join words together against you, and shake my head at you.
5.
אֲאַמִּצְכֶם בְּמוֹ-פִי; וְנִיד שְׂפָתַי יַחְשֹׂךְ.
അഅമ്മിത്സ്ഖെം ബെമോ ഫീ വനീദ് സ്ഫാത്തായ് യഹ്സോഖ്
I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips would assuage your grief.
6.
אִם-אֲדַבְּרָה, לֹא-יֵחָשֵׂךְ כְּאֵבִי; וְאַחְדְּלָה, מַה-מִּנִּי יַהֲלֹךְ.
ഇം അദബ്ബേരാ ലോ യേഹാസേഖ് കെഏവീ വഅഹ്ദലാ മാ മിന്നീ യാഹലോഖ്
Though I speak, my pain is not assuaged; and though I forbear, what am I eased?
7.
אַךְ-עַתָּה הֶלְאָנִי; הֲשִׁמּוֹתָ, כָּל-עֲדָתִי.
അഖ് അത്താ ഹെൽആനീ ഹാഷിമ്മോതാ കൊൽ അദാത്തീ
But now He hath made me weary; Thou hast made desolate all my company.
8.
וַתִּקְמְטֵנִי, לְעֵד הָיָה; וַיָּקָם בִּי כַחֲשִׁי, בְּפָנַי יַעֲנֶה.
വത്തിക്മെതേനീ ലേഏദ് ഹായാ വയാകാം ബീ ഖഹാഷീ ബെഫാനായ് യാഅനെ
And Thou hast shrivelled me up, which is a witness against me; and my leanness riseth up against me, it testifieth to my face.
9.
אַפּוֹ טָרַף, וַיִּשְׂטְמֵנִי--חָרַק עָלַי בְּשִׁנָּיו; צָרִי, יִלְטֹשׁ עֵינָיו לִי.
അപ്പോ താറഫ് വയിസ്തമേനീ ഹാറാക് ആലായ് ബെഷിന്നാവ് ത്സാരീ യില്തോഷ് ഏനാവ് ലീ
He hath torn me in His wrath, and hated me; He hath gnashed upon me with His teeth; mine adversary sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
10.
פָּעֲרוּ עָלַי, בְּפִיהֶם--בְּחֶרְפָּה, הִכּוּ לְחָיָי; יַחַד, עָלַי יִתְמַלָּאוּן.
പാഅരൂ ആലായ് ബെഫീഹെം ബെഹെർപ്പാ ഹിക്കൂ ലെഹായായീ യാഹാദ് ആലായ് യിത്മല്ലാഊൻ
They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek scornfully; they gather themselves together against me.
11.
יַסְגִּירֵנִי אֵל, אֶל עֲוִיל; וְעַל-יְדֵי רְשָׁעִים יִרְטֵנִי.
യാസ്ഗീറേനീ ഏൽ എൽ അവിൽ വേഅൽ യദേ രെഷാഈം യിർതേനീ
God delivereth me to the ungodly, and casteth me into the hands of the wicked.
12.
שָׁלֵו הָיִיתִי, וַיְפַרְפְּרֵנִי-- וְאָחַז בְּעָרְפִּי, וַיְפַצְפְּצֵנִי;וַיְקִימֵנִי לוֹ, לְמַטָּרָה.
ശാലേവ് ഹായീതീ വയ്ഫാർഫെറേനീ വെആഹാസ് ബെഓർപ്പീ വയ്ഫാത്സ്ഫാത്സേനീ വയ്കീമേനീ ലോ ലെമാത്താറാ
I was at ease, and He broke me asunder; yea, He hath taken me by the neck, and dashed me to pieces; He hath also set me up for His mark.
13.
יָסֹבּוּ עָלַי, רַבָּיו-- יְפַלַּח כִּלְיוֹתַי, וְלֹא יַחְמֹל;יִשְׁפֹּךְ לָאָרֶץ, מְרֵרָתִי.
യാസോബ്ബു ആലയ് റബ്ബാവ് യെഫല്ലഹ് കില് യോതായ വെലോ യഹ്മോല് യീഷ്പോഖ് ലാആരെത്സ് മെരേരാതീ
His archers compass me round about, He cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; He poureth out my gall upon the ground.
14.
יִפְרְצֵנִי פֶרֶץ, עַל-פְּנֵי-פָרֶץ; יָרֻץ עָלַי כְּגִבּוֹר.
യിഫ്രെത്സേനീ ഫേരെത്സ് അല് പ്നേ ഫാരെത്സ് യാരുത്സ് ആലയ് കെഗിബ്ബോര്
He breaketh me with breach upon breach; He runneth upon me like a giant.
15.
שַׂק תָּפַרְתִּי, עֲלֵי גִלְדִּי; וְעֹלַלְתִּי בֶעָפָר קַרְנִי.
സഖ് താഫര്തീ അലേ ഗില്ദീ വെഒലല്തീ ബെആഫാര് കര്നീ
I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and have laid my horn in the dust.
16.
פָּנַי חמרמרה חֳמַרְמְרוּ, מִנִּי-בֶכִי; וְעַל עַפְעַפַּי צַלְמָוֶת.
പാനായ് ഹൊമര്മരൂ മിന്നീ വേഖീ വെഅല് അഫ്അപ്പായ് ത്സല്മാവെത്
My face is reddened with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
17.
עַל, לֹא-חָמָס בְּכַפָּי; וּתְפִלָּתִי זַכָּה.
അല് ലോ ഹമാസ് ബെഖാപ്പായ് ഉത്ഫില്ലാതീ സക്കാ
Although there is no violence in my hands, and my prayer is pure.
18.
אֶרֶץ, אַל-תְּכַסִּי דָמִי; וְאַל-יְהִי מָקוֹם, לְזַעֲקָתִי.
ആരെത്സ് അല് തെഖസ്സീ ദാമീ വെഅല് യെഹീ മാഖോം ലെസഅഖാതീ
O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no resting-place.
19.
גַּם-עַתָּה, הִנֵּה-בַשָּׁמַיִם עֵדִי; וְשָׂהֲדִי, בַּמְּרֹמִים.
ഗം അത്താ ഹിന്നേ വശ്ശാമയിം ഏദീ വെസാഹദീ ബമ്രോമീം
Even now, behold, my Witness is in heaven, and He that testifieth of me is on high.
20.
מְלִיצַי רֵעָי; אֶל-אֱלוֹהַּ, דָּלְפָה עֵינִי.
മെലീത്സായ് രേആയ് എല് എലോഹ ദാലെഫാ ഏനീ
Mine inward thoughts are my intercessors, mine eye poureth out tears unto God;
21.
וְיוֹכַח לְגֶבֶר עִם-אֱלוֹהַּ; וּבֶן-אָדָם לְרֵעֵהוּ.
വെയോഖഹ് ലെഗേവെര് ഇം എലോഹ ഉവെന് ആദാം ലെരേഏഹൂ
That He would set aright a man contending with God, as a son of man setteth aright his neighbour!
22.
כִּי-שְׁנוֹת מִסְפָּר יֶאֱתָיוּ; וְאֹרַח לֹא-אָשׁוּב אֶהֱלֹךְ.
ഖീ ശ്നോത് മിസ്പാര് യെഎതായൂ വെഓറഹ് ലോ ആശൂവ് എഹെലോഖ്
For the years that are few are coming on, and I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
