2.
אוֹדֶה יְהוָה, בְּכָל-לִבִּי; אֲסַפְּרָה, כָּל-נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ.
odeh YHWH, bekhol-libi; asafrah, kol-nifle'otekha.
I will give thanks unto the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all Thy marvellous works.
3.
אֶשְׂמְחָה וְאֶעֶלְצָה בָךְ; אֲזַמְּרָה שִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן.
esmchah ve'e'eltzah vakh; azamrah shimkha elyon.
I will be glad and exult in Thee; I will sing praise to Thy name, O Most High:
4.
בְּשׁוּב-אוֹיְבַי אָחוֹר; יִכָּשְׁלוּ וְיֹאבְדוּ, מִפָּנֶיךָ.
beshuv-oyvay akhor; yikashelu veyo'vedu, mipanekha.
When mine enemies are turned back, they stumble and perish at Thy presence;

כִּי-עָשִׂיתָ, מִשְׁפָּטִי וְדִינִי; יָשַׁבְתָּ לְכִסֵּא, שׁוֹפֵט צֶדֶק.
ki-asita, mishpati vedini; yashta likhseo, shofet tzedek.
For Thou hast maintained my right and my cause; Thou sattest upon the throne as the righteous Judge.
6.
גָּעַרְתָּ גוֹיִם, אִבַּדְתָּ רָשָׁע; שְׁמָם מָחִיתָ, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
ga'arta goyim, ibadta rasha; shemam mahita, le'olam va'ed.
Thou hast rebuked the nations, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.
7.
הָאוֹיֵב, תַּמּוּ חֳרָבוֹת--לָנֶצַח; וְעָרִים נָתַשְׁתָּ--אָבַד זִכְרָם הֵמָּה.
ha'oyev, tammu khoravot--lanetzach; ve'arim natashta--avad zikhram hemmah.
O thou enemy, the waste places are come to an end for ever; and the cities which thou didst uproot, their very memorial is perished.
8.
וַיהוָה, לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵׁב; כּוֹנֵן לַמִּשְׁפָּט כִּסְאוֹ.
vYHWH, le'olam yeshev; konen lamishpat kis'o.
But the LORD is enthroned for ever; He hath established His throne for judgment.
9.
וְהוּא, יִשְׁפֹּט-תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק; יָדִין לְאֻמִּים, בְּמֵישָׁרִים.
ve'hu yishpot-tevel betzedek yadin le'umim bemeysharim.
And He will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples with equity.
10.
וִיהִי יְהוָה מִשְׂגָּב לַדָּךְ; מִשְׂגָּב, לְעִתּוֹת בַּצָּרָה.
vihi YHWH misgav ladakh misgav le'itot batzarah.
The LORD also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble;
11.
וְיִבְטְחוּ בְךָ, יוֹדְעֵי שְׁמֶךָ: כִּי לֹא-עָזַבְתָּ דֹרְשֶׁיךָ יְהוָה.
veyivtechu vekha yode'ei shemekha ki lo-azavta doreshekha YHWH.
And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for Thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.
12.
זַמְּרוּ--לַיהוָה, יֹשֵׁב צִיּוֹן; הַגִּידוּ בָעַמִּים, עֲלִילוֹתָיו.
zamru-layHWH yoshev tziyon hagidu va'amim alilotav.
Sing praises to the LORD, who dwelleth in Zion; declare among the peoples His doings.
13.
כִּי-דֹרֵשׁ דָּמִים, אוֹתָם זָכָר; לֹא-שָׁכַח, צַעֲקַת עניים עֲנָוִים.
ki-doresh damim, otam zakhar; lo-shakhach, tza'akat 'anavim.
For He that avengeth blood hath remembered them; He hath not forgotten the cry of the humble.
14.
חָנְנֵנִי יְהוָה--רְאֵה עָנְיִי, מִשֹּׂנְאָי; מְרוֹמְמִי, מִשַּׁעֲרֵי מָוֶת.
chaneni YHWH--re'eh 'onyi, mishon'ay; meromemi, misha'arei mavet.
Be gracious unto me, O LORD, behold mine affliction at the hands of them that hate me; Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;
15.
לְמַעַן אֲסַפְּרָה, כָּל-תְּהִלָּתֶיךָ: בְּשַׁעֲרֵי בַת-צִיּוֹן--אָגִילָה, בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ.
lema'an asafrah, kol-tehillatekha: besha'arei vat-tziyon--agilah, bishu'atekha.
That I may tell of all Thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion, that I may rejoice in Thy salvation.
16.
טָבְעוּ גוֹיִם, בְּשַׁחַת עָשׂוּ; בְּרֶשֶׁת-זוּ טָמָנוּ, נִלְכְּדָה רַגְלָם.
tav'u goyim, beshachat 'asu; bereshet-zu tamanu, nilkedah raglam.
The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made; in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
17.
נוֹדַע, יְהוָה--מִשְׁפָּט עָשָׂה: בְּפֹעַל כַּפָּיו, נוֹקֵשׁ רָשָׁע; הִגָּיוֹן סֶלָה.
noda YHWH mishpat asah befo'al kapav nokesh rasha higayon selah.
The LORD hath made Himself known, He hath executed judgment, the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah
18.
יָשׁוּבוּ רְשָׁעִים לִשְׁאוֹלָה: כָּל-גּוֹיִם, שְׁכֵחֵי אֱלֹהִים.
yashuvu resha'im lish'olah kol goyim shekhechei Elohim.
The wicked shall return to the nether-world, even all the nations that forget God.
19.
כִּי לֹא לָנֶצַח, יִשָּׁכַח אֶבְיוֹן; תִּקְוַת ענוים עֲנִיִּים, תֹּאבַד לָעַד.
ki lo lanetzach yishakhach evyon tikvat aniyim tovad la'ad.
For the needy shall not alway be forgotten, nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever.
20.
קוּמָה יְהוָה, אַל-יָעֹז אֱנוֹשׁ; יִשָּׁפְטוּ גוֹיִם, עַל-פָּנֶיךָ.
kumah YHWH al ya'oz enosh yishaftu goyim al paneikha.
Arise, O LORD, let not man prevail; let the nations be judged in Thy sight.
21.
שִׁיתָה יְהוָה, מוֹרָה--לָהֶם: יֵדְעוּ גוֹיִם--אֱנוֹשׁ הֵמָּה סֶּלָה.
shitah YHWH, morah—lahem: yedu goyim—enosh hemah selah.
Set terror over them, O LORD; let the nations know they are but men. Selah
