שִׁגָּיוֹן, לְדָוִד: אֲשֶׁר-שָׁר לַיהוָה--עַל-דִּבְרֵי-כוּשׁ, בֶּן-יְמִינִי.

יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי, בְּךָ חָסִיתִי; הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי מִכָּל-רֹדְפַי, וְהַצִּילֵנִי.
adonai elohay, bekha khasiti; hoshi'eni mikkal-rodefay, vehatzileni.
O LORD my God, in Thee have I taken refuge; save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me;
3.
פֶּן-יִטְרֹף כְּאַרְיֵה נַפְשִׁי; פֹּרֵק, וְאֵין מַצִּיל.
pen-yitrof ke'aryeh nafshi; porek, ve'ein matzil.
Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
4.
יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי, אִם-עָשִׂיתִי זֹאת; אִם-יֶשׁ-עָוֶל בְּכַפָּי.
adonai elohay, im-asiti zot; im-yesh-avel bekhafay.
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

אִם-גָּמַלְתִּי, שׁוֹלְמִי רָע; וָאֲחַלְּצָה צוֹרְרִי רֵיקָם.
im-gamalti, sholemi ra; va'akhalletzah tzoreri rekam.
If I have requited him that did evil unto me, or spoiled mine adversary unto emptiness;

יִרַדֹּף אוֹיֵב נַפְשִׁי, וְיַשֵּׂג--וְיִרְמֹס לָאָרֶץ חַיָּי; וּכְבוֹדִי, לֶעָפָר יַשְׁכֵּן סֶלָה.
yiraddo oyev nafshi, veyaseg--veyirmos la'aretz khayay; ukhvodi, le'afar yashken selah.
Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, and tread my life down to the earth; yea, let him lay my glory in the dust. Selah

קוּמָה יְהוָה, בְּאַפֶּךָ--הִנָּשֵׂא, בְּעַבְרוֹת צוֹרְרָי; וְעוּרָה אֵלַי, מִשְׁפָּט צִוִּיתָ.
qumah YHWH, be'apekha--hinnase, be'avrot tzoraray; ve'urah elay, mishpat tzivitata.
Arise, O LORD, in Thine anger, lift up Thyself in indignation against mine adversaries; yea, awake for me at the judgment which Thou hast commanded.
8.
וַעֲדַת לְאֻמִּים, תְּסוֹבְבֶךָּ; וְעָלֶיהָ, לַמָּרוֹם שׁוּבָה.
va'adat le'ummim, tesovevekha; ve'aleha, lamarom shuvah.
And let the congregation of the peoples compass Thee about, and over them return Thou on high.
9.
יְהוָה, יָדִין עַמִּים: שָׁפְטֵנִי יְהוָה; כְּצִדְקִי וּכְתֻמִּי עָלָי.
YHWH yadin amim shofeteni YHWH ketsidki ukhetumi alay.
O LORD, who ministerest judgment to the peoples, judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
10.
יִגְמָר נָא רַע, רְשָׁעִים-- וּתְכוֹנֵן צַדִּיק;וּבֹחֵן לִבּוֹת, וּכְלָיוֹת-- אֱלֹהִים צַדִּיק.
yigmar na ra resha'im uthkhonen tzadik uvokhen libot ukhlelayot Elohim tzadik.
Oh that a full measure of evil might come upon the wicked, and that Thou wouldest establish the righteous; for the righteous God trieth the heart and reins.
11.
מָגִנִּי עַל-אֱלֹהִים; מוֹשִׁיעַ, יִשְׁרֵי-לֵב.
magini al Elohim moshi'a yishrei lev.
My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
12.
אֱלֹהִים, שׁוֹפֵט צַדִּיק; וְאֵל, זֹעֵם בְּכָל-יוֹם.
Elohim shofet tzadik ve'el zo'em bekhol yom.
God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day:
13.
אִם-לֹא יָשׁוּב, חַרְבּוֹ יִלְטוֹשׁ; קַשְׁתּוֹ דָרַךְ, וַיְכוֹנְנֶהָ.
im-lo yashuv, kharbo yiltosh; kashto darakh, vaykhoneneha.
If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;
14.
וְלוֹ, הֵכִין כְּלֵי מָוֶת; חִצָּיו, לְדֹלְקִים יִפְעָל.
velo, hekhin kelei mavet; khitzav, ledolkim yif'al.
He hath also prepared for him the weapons of death, yea, His arrows which He made sharp.
15.
הִנֵּה יְחַבֶּל-אָוֶן; וְהָרָה עָמָל, וְיָלַד שָׁקֶר.
hinneh yekhabel-aven; veharah amal, veyalad shaker.
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he conceiveth mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
16.
בּוֹר כָּרָה, וַיַּחְפְּרֵהוּ; וַיִּפֹּל, בְּשַׁחַת יִפְעָל.
bor karah, vaykhaprehu; vayipol, beshakhat yif'al.
He hath digged a pit, and hollowed it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
17.
יָשׁוּב עֲמָלוֹ בְרֹאשׁוֹ; וְעַל קָדְקֳדוֹ, חֲמָסוֹ יֵרֵד.
yashuv amalo verosho; ve'al kadkodo, khamaso yered.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
18.
אוֹדֶה יְהוָה כְּצִדְקוֹ; וַאֲזַמְּרָה, שֵׁם-יְהוָה עֶלְיוֹן.
odeh YHWH ketsidko; va'azamrah, shem-YHWH elyon.
I will give thanks unto the LORD according to His righteousness; and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
