הַאֻמְנָם--אֵלֶם צֶדֶק, תְּדַבֵּרוּן; מֵישָׁרִים תִּשְׁפְּטוּ, בְּנֵי אָדָם.
ha'umnam--elem tzedek, tedaberun; meysharim tishpetu, bene adam.
Do ye indeed speak as a righteous company? Do ye judge with equity the sons of men?

אַף-בְּלֵב, עוֹלֹת תִּפְעָלוּן: בָּאָרֶץ--חֲמַס יְדֵיכֶם, תְּפַלֵּסוּן.
af-belev, olot tif'alun: ba'aretz--khamas yedeikhem, tefalesun.
Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh out in the earth the violence of your hands.
4.
זֹרוּ רְשָׁעִים מֵרָחֶם; תָּעוּ מִבֶּטֶן, דֹּבְרֵי כָזָב.
zoru resha'im merakhem; ta'u mibeten, dobrei khazav.
The wicked are estranged from the womb; the speakers of lies go astray as soon as they are born.

חֲמַת-לָמוֹ, כִּדְמוּת חֲמַת-נָחָשׁ; כְּמוֹ-פֶתֶן חֵרֵשׁ, יַאְטֵם אָזְנוֹ.
khamat-lamo, kidmut khamat nakhash; kemo-peten kheresh, ya'tem ozno.
Their venom is like the venom of a serpent; they are like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ear;

אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יִשְׁמַע, לְקוֹל מְלַחֲשִׁים; חוֹבֵר חֲבָרִים מְחֻכָּם.
asher lo-yishma', lekol melakhashim; khover khavarim mkhukam.
Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, or of the most cunning binder of spells.
7.
אֱלֹהִים--הֲרָס שִׁנֵּימוֹ בְּפִימוֹ; מַלְתְּעוֹת כְּפִירִים, נְתֹץ יְהוָה.
Elohim haras shinneymo befeymo malte'ot kefirim netot YHWH.
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth; break out the cheek-teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
8.
יִמָּאֲסוּ כְמוֹ-מַיִם, יִתְהַלְּכוּ-לָמוֹ;יִדְרֹךְ חִצָּו, כְּמוֹ יִתְמֹלָלוּ.
yima'asu kemo-mayim yithallakhu-lamo yidrokh chitsav kemo yitmolalu.
Let them melt away as water that runneth apace; when he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.

כְּמוֹ שַׁבְּלוּל, תֶּמֶס יַהֲלֹךְ; נֵפֶל אֵשֶׁת, בַּל-חָזוּ שָׁמֶשׁ.
kemo shablul temes yahalokh nefel eshet bal-chazu shamesh.
Let them be as a snail which melteth and passeth away; like the untimely births of a woman, that have not seen the sun.
10.
בְּטֶרֶם, יָבִינוּ סִּירֹתֵכֶם אָטָד; כְּמוֹ-חַי כְּמוֹ-חָרוֹן, יִשְׂעָרֶנּוּ.
beterem yavinu sirotekhem atad kemo-chay kemo-charon yis'arennu.
Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will sweep it away with a whirlwind, the raw and the burning alike.
11.
יִשְׂמַח צַדִּיק, כִּי-חָזָה נָקָם; פְּעָמָיו יִרְחַץ, בְּדַם הָרָשָׁע.
yismach tzadik, ki-khazah nakam; pe'amav yirkhatz, bedam harasha.
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance; he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
12.
וְיֹאמַר אָדָם, אַךְ-פְּרִי לַצַּדִּיק; אַךְ יֵשׁ-אֱלֹהִים, שֹׁפְטִים בָּאָרֶץ.
ve'omar adam, akh-peri latzadik; akh yesh-elohim, shoftim ba'aretz.
And men shall say: 'Verily there is a reward for the righteous; verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.'
