1.
לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל-מָחֲלַת, מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִד.
lamnatzeach al-machalat, maskil ledavid.
For the Leader; upon Mahalath. Maschil of David.
2.
אָמַר נָבָל בְּלִבּוֹ, אֵין אֱלֹהִים;הִשְׁחִיתוּ, וְהִתְעִיבוּ עָוֶל-- אֵין עֹשֵׂה-טוֹב.
amar naval belibo, ein elohim; hishtitu, vehit'ivu avel-- ein oseh-tov.
The fool hath said in his heart: 'There is no God'; they have dealt corruptly, and have done abominable iniquity; there is none that doeth good.

אֱלֹהִים-- מִשָּׁמַיִם, הִשְׁקִיף עַל-בְּנֵי-אָדָם:לִרְאוֹת, הֲיֵשׁ מַשְׂכִּיל-- דֹּרֵשׁ, אֶת-אֱלֹהִים.
elohim-- mishamayim, hishkif al-bene-adam: lir'ot, hayesh maskil-- doresh, et-elohim.
God looked forth from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any man of understanding, that did seek after God.
4.
כֻּלּוֹ סָג, יַחְדָּו נֶאֱלָחוּ: אֵין עֹשֵׂה-טוֹב; אֵין, גַּם-אֶחָד.
kulo sag, yachdav ne'alachu: ein oseh-tov; ein, gam-echad.
Every one of them is unclean, they are together become impure; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
5.
הֲלֹא יָדְעוּ, פֹּעֲלֵי-אָוֶן: אֹכְלֵי עַמִּי, אָכְלוּ לֶחֶם; אֱלֹהִים, לֹא קָרָאוּ.
halo yade'u, po'alei-aven: okhlei ammi, akhlu lekhem; Elohim, lo karau.
'Shall not the workers of iniquity know it, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and call not upon God?'
6.
שָׁם, פָּחֲדוּ פַחַד-- לֹא-הָיָה-פָחַד:כִּי-אֱלֹהִים--פִּזַּר, עַצְמוֹת חֹנָךְ; הֱבִשֹׁתָה, כִּי-אֱלֹהִים מְאָסָם.
sham, pakhadu fakhad-- lo-hayah-fakhad:ki-Elohim--pizzar, atzmot khonakh; hevishtah, ki-Elohim me'asam.
There are they in great fear, where no fear was; for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee; Thou hast put them to shame, because God hath rejected them.
7.
מִי יִתֵּן מִצִּיּוֹן, יְשֻׁעוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל:בְּשׁוּב אֱלֹהִים, שְׁבוּת עַמּוֹ; יָגֵל יַעֲקֹב, יִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל.
mi yitten mitziyon, yeshu'ot Yisrael:beshuv Elohim, shevut ammo; yagel Ya'akov, yismakh Yisrael.
Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God turneth the captivity of His people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
