2.יְהוָה, בְּעָזְּךָ יִשְׂמַח-מֶלֶךְ; וּבִישׁוּעָתְךָ, מַה-יגיל יָּגֶל מְאֹד.Adonai, be'azkha yismakh-melekh; uvisguatrkha, mah-yagil me'od.O LORD, in Thy strength the king rejoiceth; and in Thy salvation how greatly doth he exult!
3.תַּאֲוַת לִבּוֹ, נָתַתָּה לּוֹ; וַאֲרֶשֶׁת שְׂפָתָיו, בַּל-מָנַעְתָּ סֶּלָה.ta'avat libo, natata lo; va'areshet sfatav, bal-mana'ta selah.Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and the request of his lips Thou hast not withholden. Selah
4.כִּי-תְקַדְּמֶנּוּ, בִּרְכוֹת טוֹב; תָּשִׁית לְרֹאשׁוֹ, עֲטֶרֶת פָּז.ki-tkadmennu, birkhot tov; tashit lerosho, ateret paz.For Thou meetest him with choicest blessings; Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head.
5.חַיִּים, שָׁאַל מִמְּךָ--נָתַתָּה לּוֹ; אֹרֶךְ יָמִים, עוֹלָם וָעֶד.chayim, sha'al mimekha--natata lo; orekh yamim, olam va'ed.He asked life of Thee, Thou gavest it him; even length of days for ever and ever.
6.גָּדוֹל כְּבוֹדוֹ, בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ; הוֹד וְהָדָר, תְּשַׁוֶּה עָלָיו.gadol kevodo bishuvatecha hod vehadar teshaveh alavHis glory is great through Thy salvation; honour and majesty dost Thou lay upon him.
7.כִּי-תְשִׁיתֵהוּ בְרָכוֹת לָעַד; תְּחַדֵּהוּ בְשִׂמְחָה, אֶת-פָּנֶיךָ.ki teshitehu verachot la'ad techadehu vesimcha et paneichaFor Thou makest him most blessed for ever; Thou makest him glad with joy in Thy presence.
8.כִּי-הַמֶּלֶךְ, בֹּטֵחַ בַּיהוָה; וּבְחֶסֶד עֶלְיוֹן, בַּל-יִמּוֹט.ki hamelech boteach baYHWH uvechesed elyon bal yimotFor the king trusteth in the LORD, yea, in the mercy of the Most High; he shall not be moved.
9.תִּמְצָא יָדְךָ, לְכָל-אֹיְבֶיךָ; יְמִינְךָ, תִּמְצָא שֹׂנְאֶיךָ.timtza yadecha lechol oyveicha yeminecha timtza sone'eichaThy hand shall be equal to all thine enemies; thy right hand shall overtake those that hate thee.
10.תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ, כְּתַנּוּר אֵשׁ-- לְעֵת פָּנֶיךָ:יְהוָה, בְּאַפּוֹ יְבַלְּעֵם; וְתֹאכְלֵם אֵשׁ.teshitemo ketanur esh le'et paneikha YHWH be'apo yeval'em ve-tokhlem esh.Thou shalt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger; the LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
11.פִּרְיָמוֹ, מֵאֶרֶץ תְּאַבֵּד; וְזַרְעָם, מִבְּנֵי אָדָם.piryamo me'eretz te'abed ve-zar'am mibnei adam.Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
12.כִּי-נָטוּ עָלֶיךָ רָעָה; חָשְׁבוּ מְזִמָּה, בַּל-יוּכָלוּ.ki-natu aleikha ra'ah khashevu mezimmah bal-yukhalu.For they intended evil against thee, they imagined a device, wherewith they shall not prevail.
13.כִּי, תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ שֶׁכֶם; בְּמֵיתָרֶיךָ, תְּכוֹנֵן עַל-פְּנֵיהֶם.ki teshitemo shekhem be-metareikha tekhonen al-peneihem.For thou shalt make them turn their back, thou shalt make ready with thy bowstrings against the face of them.
14.רוּמָה יְהוָה בְּעֻזֶּךָ; נָשִׁירָה וּנְזַמְּרָה, גְּבוּרָתֶךָ.rumah YHWH be'uzekha; nashirah unzemarah, gevuratekha.Be Thou exalted, O LORD, in Thy strength; so will we sing and praise Thy power.
