הַלְלוּ-יָהּ:כִּי-טוֹב, זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ-- כִּי-נָעִים, נָאוָה תְהִלָּה.
Hallelu-Yah ki-tov zamrah Eloheinu, ki-na'im na'avah thillah.
Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.

בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יְהוָה; נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס.
Boneh Yerushalayim YHWH; nidkhei Yisrael yekannes.
The LORD doth build up Jerusalem, He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel;

הָרֹפֵא, לִשְׁבוּרֵי לֵב; וּמְחַבֵּשׁ, לְעַצְּבוֹתָם.
Harofei, lishvurei lev; umehabbesh, le'atzevotam.
Who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4.
מוֹנֶה מִסְפָּר, לַכּוֹכָבִים; לְכֻלָּם, שֵׁמוֹת יִקְרָא.
Moneh mispar, lakkokhavim; lekullan, shemot yiqra.
He counteth the number of the stars; He giveth them all their names.
5.
גָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב-כֹּחַ; לִתְבוּנָתוֹ, אֵין מִסְפָּר.
Gadol Adoneinu verav-ko'ach; litvunato, ein mispar.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
6.
מְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יְהוָה; מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי-אָרֶץ.
me'oded anavim YHWH; mashpil resha'im adei-aretz.
The LORD upholdeth the humble; He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.
7.
עֱנוּ לַיהוָה בְּתוֹדָה; זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְכִנּוֹר.
anu laYHWH betodah; zamru leloheinu vekhinor.
Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving, sing praises upon the harp unto our God;

הַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם, בְּעָבִים-- הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר;הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר.
hamkasseh shamayim, be'avim-- hammehin la'aretz matar; hammatsmi'ach harim khatzir.
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh the mountains to spring with grass.
9.
נוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ; לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב, אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ.
noten livhemah lakhmah; livnei orev, asher yikra'u.
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
10.
לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ; לֹא-בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה.
Lo vigvurat hasus yekhpatz; lo-veshokei ha'ish yirtze.
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse; He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11.
רוֹצֶה יְהוָה, אֶת-יְרֵאָיו-- אֶת-הַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ.
Rotze YHWH, et-yere'av-- et-hamyakhalim lekhasdo.
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that wait for His mercy.
12.
שַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם, אֶת-יְהוָה; הַלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן.
Shabchi Yerushalayim, et-YHWH; haleli Elohayikh Tziyon.
Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13.
כִּי-חִזַּק, בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ; בֵּרַךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּךְ.
Ki-khizaq, berihei she'arayikh; berakh banayikh bekirbekh.
For He hath made strong the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee.
14.
הַשָּׂם-גְּבוּלֵךְ שָׁלוֹם; חֵלֶב חִטִּים, יַשְׂבִּיעֵךְ.
ha'sam-gevulekh shalom; khelev khittim, yasbi'ekh.
He maketh thy borders peace; He giveth thee in plenty the fat of wheat.
15.
הַשֹּׁלֵחַ אִמְרָתוֹ אָרֶץ; עַד-מְהֵרָה, יָרוּץ דְּבָרוֹ.
ha'sholekh imrato aretz; ad-meherah, yarutz devaro.
He sendeth out His commandment upon earth; His word runneth very swiftly.
16.
הַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר; כְּפוֹר, כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּר.
ha'noten sheleg katzamer; kefor, ka'eper yefazer.
He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
17.
מַשְׁלִיךְ קַרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים; לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ, מִי יַעֲמֹד.
mashlikh karho kheftim; lifnei karato, mi ya'amod.
He casteth forth His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold?
18.
יִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם; יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ, יִזְּלוּ-מָיִם.
yishlach devaro veyamsem; yashev rucho, yizelu-mayim.
He sendeth forth His word, and melteth them; He causeth His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19.
מַגִּיד דְּבָרָו לְיַעֲקֹב; חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו, לְיִשְׂרָאֵל.
magid devarav leya'akov; chukav umishpatav, leyisrael.
He declareth His word unto Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances unto Israel.
20.
לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן, לְכָל-גּוֹי-- וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל-יְדָעוּם:הַלְלוּ-יָהּ.
lo asah khen, lekhal-goy-- umishpatim bal-yeda'um: halelu-yah.
He hath not dealt so with any nation; and as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Hallelujah.
