שִׁיר, הַמַּעֲלוֹת:אַשְׁרֵי, כָּל-יְרֵא יְהוָה-- הַהֹלֵךְ, בִּדְרָכָיו.
Shir, hama'alot: ashrei, kol-yrei YHWH-- haholekh, bidrakhav.
A Song of Ascents. Happy is every one that feareth the LORD, that walketh in His ways.

יְגִיעַ כַּפֶּיךָ, כִּי תֹאכֵל; אַשְׁרֶיךָ, וְטוֹב לָךְ.
yegia' kapeykha, ki tokhel; ashreykha, vetov lakh.
When thou eatest the labour of thy hands, happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

אֶשְׁתְּךָ, כְּגֶפֶן פֹּרִיָּה-- בְּיַרְכְּתֵי בֵיתֶךָ:בָּנֶיךָ, כִּשְׁתִלֵי זֵיתִים-- סָבִיב, לְשֻׁלְחָנֶךָ.
eshtekha, kegefen poriyah-- beyarketei beitekha: banekha, kishtlei zeitim-- savib, leshulhanekha.
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thy house; thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.
4.
הִנֵּה כִי-כֵן, יְבֹרַךְ גָּבֶר-- יְרֵא יְהוָה.
hinneh khi-khen, yevorakh gaver-- yrei YHWH.
Behold, surely thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5.
יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה, מִצִּיּוֹן: וּרְאֵה, בְּטוּב יְרוּשָׁלִָם--כֹּל, יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ.
yevarékhekha YHWH mitziyyon. ure'eh betuv Yerushalayim kol yemei khayyekha.
The LORD bless thee out of Zion; and see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life;
6.
וּרְאֵה-בָנִים לְבָנֶיךָ: שָׁלוֹם, עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ure'eh-vanim levanekha shalom al-Yisrael.
And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!
