אָהַבְתִּי, כִּי-יִשְׁמַע יְהוָה-- אֶת-קוֹלִי, תַּחֲנוּנָי.
Ahavti, ki-yishma YHWH-- et-koli, tahanunay.
I love that the LORD should hear my voice and my supplications.

כִּי-הִטָּה אָזְנוֹ לִי; וּבְיָמַי אֶקְרָא.
Ki-hittah ozno li; uveyamay ekra.
Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him all my days.
3.
אֲפָפוּנִי, חֶבְלֵי-מָוֶת--וּמְצָרֵי שְׁאוֹל מְצָאוּנִי; צָרָה וְיָגוֹן אֶמְצָא.
aphafuni, khevlei-mavet ume'tzarei she'ol metza'uni; tzarah veyagon emtza.
The cords of death compassed me, and the straits of the nether-world got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.

וּבְשֵׁם-יְהוָה אֶקְרָא: אָנָּה יְהוָה, מַלְּטָה נַפְשִׁי.
uv'shem-YHWH ekra: anna YHWH, mal'tah nafshi.
But I called upon the name of the LORD: 'I beseech thee, O LORD, deliver my soul.'

חַנּוּן יְהוָה וְצַדִּיק; וֵאלֹהֵינוּ מְרַחֵם.
khannun YHWH vetzaddik; veloheinu merakhem.
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is compassionate.
6.
שֹׁמֵר פְּתָאיִם יְהוָה; דַּלֹּתִי, וְלִי יְהוֹשִׁיעַ.
shomer p'ta'yim YHWH; dalloti, veli yehoshia.
The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
7.
שׁוּבִי נַפְשִׁי, לִמְנוּחָיְכִי: כִּי-יְהוָה, גָּמַל עָלָיְכִי.
Shuvi nafshi, limnuhaykhi: ki-Adonai, gamal alaykhi.
Return, O my soul, unto thy rest; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8.
כִּי חִלַּצְתָּ נַפְשִׁי, מִמָּוֶת: אֶת-עֵינִי מִן-דִּמְעָה; אֶת-רַגְלִי מִדֶּחִי.
Ki khillatzta nafshi, mimmavet: et-eini min-dim'ah; et-ragli middekhi.
For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
9.
אֶתְהַלֵּךְ, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה-- בְּאַרְצוֹת, הַחַיִּים.
Et-hallekh, lifnei Adonai-- be'artzot, hahayyim.
I shall walk before the LORD in the lands of the living.
10.
הֶאֱמַנְתִּי, כִּי אֲדַבֵּר; אֲנִי, עָנִיתִי מְאֹד.
He'emanti, ki adaber; ani, aniti me'od.
I trusted even when I spoke: 'I am greatly afflicted.'
11.
אֲנִי, אָמַרְתִּי בְחָפְזִי: כָּל-הָאָדָם כֹּזֵב.
Ani, amarti vekhofzi: kol-ha'adam kozev.
I said in my haste: 'All men are liars.'
12.
מָה-אָשִׁיב לַיהוָה-- כָּל-תַּגְמוּלוֹהִי עָלָי.
Mah-ashiv laYHWH-- kol-tagmulohi alay.
How can I repay unto the LORD all His bountiful dealings toward me?
13.
כּוֹס-יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא; וּבְשֵׁם יְהוָה אֶקְרָא.
Kos-yeshu'ot essa; uvshem YHWH ekra.
I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14.
נְדָרַי, לַיהוָה אֲשַׁלֵּם; נֶגְדָה-נָּא, לְכָל-עַמּוֹ.
Nedaray, laYHWH ashallem; negdah-na, lekhal-ammo.
My vows will I pay unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people.
15.
יָקָר, בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה-- הַמָּוְתָה, לַחֲסִידָיו.
Yakar be'enei YHWH, hammavtah lakhasidav.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
16.
אָנָּה יְהוָה, כִּי-אֲנִי עַבְדֶּךָ:אֲנִי-עַבְדְּךָ, בֶּן-אֲמָתֶךָ; פִּתַּחְתָּ, לְמוֹסֵרָי.
Annah YHWH, ki-ani avdekha: ani-avdekha, ben-amatekha; pittakhta lemoserai.
I beseech Thee, O LORD, for I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands.
17.
לְךָ-אֶזְבַּח, זֶבַח תּוֹדָה; וּבְשֵׁם יְהוָה אֶקְרָא.
Lekha-ezbah zevah todah; uveshem YHWH ekra.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18.
נְדָרַי, לַיהוָה אֲשַׁלֵּם; נֶגְדָה-נָּא, לְכָל-עַמּוֹ.
Nedaray laYHWH ashallem; negdah-na lekhal-ammo.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people;
19.
בְּחַצְרוֹת, בֵּית יְהוָה-- בְּתוֹכֵכִי יְרוּשָׁלִָם:הַלְלוּ-יָהּ.
behatzrot beit YHWH betokheki Yerushalayim hallelu-Yah.
In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
