וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-Mosheh lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
2.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם: אִישׁ אוֹ-אִשָּׁה, כִּי יַפְלִא לִנְדֹּר נֶדֶר נָזִיר--לְהַזִּיר, לַיהוָה.
daber el-bnei Yisrael, ve'amarta alehem: ish o-ishah, ki yaflix lindor neder nazir--lehazir, laYHWH.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When either man or woman shall clearly utter a vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to consecrate himself unto the LORD,

מִיַּיִן וְשֵׁכָר יַזִּיר, חֹמֶץ יַיִן וְחֹמֶץ שֵׁכָר לֹא יִשְׁתֶּה; וְכָל-מִשְׁרַת עֲנָבִים לֹא יִשְׁתֶּה, וַעֲנָבִים לַחִים וִיבֵשִׁים לֹא יֹאכֵל.
miyyayin veshekar yazir, khometz yayin vekhometz shekar lo yishteh; vekhal-mishrat anavim lo yishteh, vaanavim lakhim viyveshim lo yokhel.
he shall abstain from wine and strong drink: he shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried.

כֹּל, יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ: מִכֹּל אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה מִגֶּפֶן הַיַּיִן, מֵחַרְצַנִּים וְעַד-זָג--לֹא יֹאכֵל.
kol, yeme nizro: mikol asher ye'aseh migeFEN hayayin, me-hartzanim ve'ad-zag--lo yokhel.
All the days of his Naziriteship shall he eat nothing that is made of the grape-vine, from the pressed grapes even to the grapestone.
5.
כָּל-יְמֵי נֶדֶר נִזְרוֹ, תַּעַר לֹא-יַעֲבֹר עַל-רֹאשׁוֹ: עַד-מְלֹאת הַיָּמִם אֲשֶׁר-יַזִּיר לַיהוָה, קָדֹשׁ יִהְיֶה--גַּדֵּל פֶּרַע, שְׂעַר רֹאשׁוֹ.
kol-yeme neder nizro, ta'ar lo-ya'avor al-rosho: ad-melot hayamim asher-yazir la-Adonai, kadosh yihyeh--gadel pera, se'ar rosho.
All the days of his vow of Naziriteship there shall no razor come upon his head; until the days be fulfilled, in which he consecrateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long.
6.
כָּל-יְמֵי הַזִּירוֹ, לַיהוָה, עַל-נֶפֶשׁ מֵת, לֹא יָבֹא.
kol-yeme haziro, la-Adonai, al-nefesh met, lo yavo.
All the days that he consecrateth himself unto the LORD he shall not come near to a dead body.
7.
לְאָבִיו וּלְאִמּוֹ, לְאָחִיו וּלְאַחֹתוֹ--לֹא-יִטַּמָּא לָהֶם, בְּמֹתָם: כִּי נֵזֶר אֱלֹהָיו, עַל-רֹאשׁוֹ.
le'aviv ule'immo, le'achiv ule'achoto--lo-yitamma lahem, bemotam: ki nezer elohav, al-rosho.
He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die; because his consecration unto God is upon his head.
8.
כֹּל, יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ, קָדֹשׁ הוּא, לַיהוָה.
kol, yeme nizro, kadosh hu, lAdonai.
All the days of his Naziriteship he is holy unto the LORD.
9.
וְכִי-יָמוּת מֵת עָלָיו בְּפֶתַע פִּתְאֹם, וְטִמֵּא רֹאשׁ נִזְרוֹ--וְגִלַּח רֹאשׁוֹ בְּיוֹם טָהֳרָתוֹ, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי יְגַלְּחֶנּוּ.
vechi-yamut met alav bepeta pitom, vetim-e rosh nizro--vegillach rosho beyom tahorato, bayom hashvii yegalleghennu.
And if any man die very suddenly beside him, and he defile his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
10.
וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי, יָבִא שְׁתֵּי תֹרִים, אוֹ שְׁנֵי, בְּנֵי יוֹנָה: אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן--אֶל-פֶּתַח, אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
uvayom hashmini, yavi shetei torim, o shnei, bnei yonah: el-hakohen--el-petach, ohel moed.
And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting.
11.
וְעָשָׂה הַכֹּהֵן, אֶחָד לְחַטָּאת וְאֶחָד לְעֹלָה, וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו, מֵאֲשֶׁר חָטָא עַל-הַנָּפֶשׁ; וְקִדַּשׁ אֶת-רֹאשׁוֹ, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא.
ve'asah hakohen, echad lechatat ve'echad le'olah, vechipper alayiv, me'asher chata al-hanapesh; vekidash et-rosho, bayom hahu.
And the priest shall prepare one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make atonement for him, for that he sinned by reason of the dead; and he shall hallow his head that same day.
12.
וְהִזִּיר לַיהוָה אֶת-יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ, וְהֵבִיא כֶּבֶשׂ בֶּן-שְׁנָתוֹ לְאָשָׁם; וְהַיָּמִים הָרִאשֹׁנִים יִפְּלוּ, כִּי טָמֵא נִזְרוֹ.
vehizir lYHWH et-yeme nizro, vehevi keves ben-shenato le'asham; vehayamim harishonim yipelu, ki tame nizro.
And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his Naziriteship, and shall bring a he-lamb of the first year for a guilt-offering; but the former days shall be void, because his consecration was defiled.
13.
וְזֹאת תּוֹרַת, הַנָּזִיר: בְּיוֹם, מְלֹאת יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ, יָבִיא אֹתוֹ, אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
vezot torat hanazir beyom melot yemei nizro yavi oto el petach ohel moed
And this is the law of the Nazirite, when the days of his consecration are fulfilled: he shall bring it unto the door of the tent of meeting;
14.
וְהִקְרִיב אֶת-קָרְבָּנוֹ לַיהוָה כֶּבֶשׂ בֶּן-שְׁנָתוֹ תָמִים אֶחָד, לְעֹלָה, וְכַבְשָׂה אַחַת בַּת-שְׁנָתָהּ תְּמִימָה, לְחַטָּאת; וְאַיִל-אֶחָד תָּמִים, לִשְׁלָמִים.
vehikriv et korbano laYHWH keves ben shenato tamim echad leolah vechavsah achat bat shenatah temimah lechatat ve'eyil echad tamim lishlamim
and he shall present his offering unto the LORD, one he-lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one ewe-lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for peace-offerings,
15.
וְסַל מַצּוֹת, סֹלֶת חַלֹּת בְּלוּלֹת בַּשֶּׁמֶן, וּרְקִיקֵי מַצּוֹת, מְשֻׁחִים בַּשָּׁמֶן; וּמִנְחָתָם, וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם.
vesal matzot solet chalot belulot bashemen urekikei matzot meshuchim bashemen uminchatam veniskehem
and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil, and their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings.
16.
וְהִקְרִיב הַכֹּהֵן, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה; וְעָשָׂה אֶת-חַטָּאתוֹ, וְאֶת-עֹלָתוֹ.
ve'hikriv ha'kohen, lifnei YHWH; ve'asah et-chattato, ve'et-olato.
And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin-offering, and his burnt-offering.
17.
וְאֶת-הָאַיִל יַעֲשֶׂה זֶבַח שְׁלָמִים, לַיהוָה, עַל, סַל הַמַּצּוֹת; וְעָשָׂה, הַכֹּהֵן, אֶת-מִנְחָתוֹ, וְאֶת-נִסְכּוֹ.
ve'et-ha'ayil ya'aseh zevach shelamim, la'Adonai, al, sal ha'matzot; ve'asah, ha'kohen, et-minchato, ve'et-nisko.
And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof.
18.
וְגִלַּח הַנָּזִיר, פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד--אֶת-רֹאשׁ נִזְרוֹ; וְלָקַח, אֶת-שְׂעַר רֹאשׁ נִזְרוֹ, וְנָתַן עַל-הָאֵשׁ, אֲשֶׁר-תַּחַת זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים.
ve'gillach ha'nazir, petach ohel mo'ed--et-rosh nizro; ve'lakach, et-se'ar rosh nizro, ve'natan al-ha'esh, asher-tachach zevach ha'shelamim.
And the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the tent of meeting, and shall take the hair of his consecrated head, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace-offerings.
19.
וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַזְּרֹעַ בְּשֵׁלָה, מִן-הָאַיִל, וְחַלַּת מַצָּה אַחַת מִן-הַסַּל, וּרְקִיק מַצָּה אֶחָד; וְנָתַן עַל-כַּפֵּי הַנָּזִיר, אַחַר הִתְגַּלְּחוֹ אֶת-נִזְרוֹ.
velakakh hakohen et-hazeroa beshela, min-ha'ayil, vekhalat matzah akhat min-hasal, urekik matzah ekhad; venatan al-kapei hanazir, akhar hitgale kho et-nizro.
And the priest shall take the shoulder of the ram when it is sodden, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazirite, after he hath shaven his consecrated head.
20.
וְהֵנִיף אוֹתָם הַכֹּהֵן תְּנוּפָה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה--קֹדֶשׁ הוּא לַכֹּהֵן, עַל חֲזֵה הַתְּנוּפָה וְעַל שׁוֹק הַתְּרוּמָה; וְאַחַר יִשְׁתֶּה הַנָּזִיר, יָיִן.
vehenif otam hakohen tenupha, lifnei YHWH--kodesh hu lakohen, al khaze hatenupha veal shok hatrumah; ve'akhar yishte hanazir, yayin.
And the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before the LORD; this is holy for the priest, together with the breast of waving and the thigh of heaving; and after that the Nazirite may drink wine.
21.
זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַנָּזִיר, אֲשֶׁר יִדֹּר, קָרְבָּנוֹ לַיהוָה עַל-נִזְרוֹ, מִלְּבַד אֲשֶׁר-תַּשִּׂיג יָדוֹ; כְּפִי נִדְרוֹ, אֲשֶׁר יִדֹּר--כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה, עַל תּוֹרַת נִזְרוֹ.
zot torat hanazir, asher yidor, korbano laYHWH al-nizro, milevad asher-tassig yado; kefi nidro, asher yidor--ken ya'aseh, al torat nizro.
This is the law of the Nazirite who voweth, and of his offering unto the LORD for his Naziriteship, beside that for which his means suffice; according to his vow which he voweth, so he must do after the law of his Naziriteship.
22.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-Mosheh lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
23.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר, כֹּה תְבָרְכוּ אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: אָמוֹר, לָהֶם.
daber el-Aharon ve'el-banav lemor, koh tevarekhu et-benei Yisrael: amor, lahem.
'Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying: On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel; ye shall say unto them:
24.
יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ.
yevarekhekha YHWH, veyishmerekha.
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee;
25.
יָאֵר יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ.
ya'er YHWH panav elekha, vikhunekka.
The LORD make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee;
26.
יִשָּׂא יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם.
yissa YHWH panav elekha, veyasem lekha shalom.
The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
27.
וְשָׂמוּ אֶת-שְׁמִי, עַל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וַאֲנִי, אֲבָרְכֵם.
veshamu et-shemi, al-bnei Yisrael; va'ani, avarkhem.
So shall they put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.'
