וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH el-Moshe lemor
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
2.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם, מוֹעֲדֵי יְהוָה, אֲשֶׁר-תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ--אֵלֶּה הֵם, מוֹעֲדָי.
dabber el-bnei Yisrael, ve'amarta alehem, mo'adei YHWH, asher-tikru otam mikra'ei kodesh--elleh hem, mo'aday.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: The appointed seasons of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My appointed seasons.
3.
שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים, תֵּעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה, וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ, כָּל-מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ: שַׁבָּת הִוא לַיהוָה, בְּכֹל מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם.
sheshet yamim, te'aseh melakhah, u-vayom ha-shvii shabbat shabbaton mikra-kodesh, kol-melakhah lo ta'asu: shabbat hi laYHWH, bekhol moshvoteikhem.
Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of work; it is a sabbath unto the LORD in all your dwellings.
4.
אֵלֶּה מוֹעֲדֵי יְהוָה, מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ, אֲשֶׁר-תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם, בְּמוֹעֲדָם.
elleh mo'adei YHWH, mikra'ei kodesh, asher-tikru otam, bemo'adam.
These are the appointed seasons of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their appointed season.
5.
בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן, בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ--בֵּין הָעַרְבָּיִם: פֶּסַח, לַיהוָה.
ba'chodesh harishon, be'arba'ah 'asar lachodesh--bein ha'arbayim: pesach, lYHWH.
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at dusk, is the LORD'S passover.
6.
וּבַחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה, חַג הַמַּצּוֹת לַיהוָה: שִׁבְעַת יָמִים, מַצּוֹת תֹּאכֵלוּ.
uvacha'mishah 'asar yom lachodesh hazeh, chag hamatzot lYHWH: shiv'at yamim, matzot tochelu.
And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD; seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread.
7.
בַּיּוֹם, הָרִאשׁוֹן, מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ, יִהְיֶה לָכֶם; כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ.
bayom, harishon, mikra-kodesh, yihyeh lachem; kol-melechet 'avodah, lo ta'asu.
In the first day ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work.
8.
וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים; בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ, כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ.
vehikravtem isheh laAdonai, shiv'at yamim; bayom hashvii mikra-kodesh, kol-melechet avodah lo ta'asu.
And ye shall bring an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days; in the seventh day is a holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work.
9.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-Moshe lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses saying:
10.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם, כִּי-תָבֹאוּ אֶל-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם, וּקְצַרְתֶּם אֶת-קְצִירָהּ--וַהֲבֵאתֶם אֶת-עֹמֶר רֵאשִׁית קְצִירְכֶם, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן.
daber el-bnei Yisrael, ve'amarta alehem, ki-tavo'u el-ha'aretz asher ani noten lachem, uqtzartem et-ktzirah--vahavetem et-omer reshit ktzirchem, el-hakohen.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest.
11.
וְהֵנִיף אֶת-הָעֹמֶר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, לִרְצֹנְכֶם; מִמָּחֳרַת, הַשַּׁבָּת, יְנִיפֶנּוּ, הַכֹּהֵן.
ve'henif et-ha'omer lifnei YHWH, lirtzonkhem; mimakhorat, hashabbat, yenifennu, hakohen.
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you; on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12.
וַעֲשִׂיתֶם, בְּיוֹם הֲנִיפְכֶם אֶת-הָעֹמֶר, כֶּבֶשׂ תָּמִים בֶּן-שְׁנָתוֹ לְעֹלָה, לַיהוָה.
va'asitem, beyom hanifkhem et-ha'omer, keves tamim ben-shenato le'olah, la'YHWH.
And in the day when ye wave the sheaf, ye shall offer a he-lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt-offering unto the LORD.
13.
וּמִנְחָתוֹ שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן, אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה--רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ; וְנִסְכֹּה יַיִן, רְבִיעִת הַהִין.
uminchato shenei esronim solet belulah vashemen, isheh la'YHWH--rei'ah nichoah; veniskoh yayin, revi'it hahin.
And the meal-offering thereof shall be two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour; and the drink-offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.
14.
וְלֶחֶם וְקָלִי וְכַרְמֶל לֹא תֹאכְלוּ, עַד-עֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה--עַד הֲבִיאֲכֶם, אֶת-קָרְבַּן אֱלֹהֵיכֶם: חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם, בְּכֹל מֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם.
velekhem vekali vekharmel lo tokhelu ad-etsem hayom hazeh ad havi'akhem et-korban elohekhem chukkat olam ledorotekhem bekhol moshevotekhem.
And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor fresh ears, until this selfsame day, until ye have brought the offering of your God; it is a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15.
וּסְפַרְתֶּם לָכֶם, מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת, מִיּוֹם הֲבִיאֲכֶם, אֶת-עֹמֶר הַתְּנוּפָה: שֶׁבַע שַׁבָּתוֹת, תְּמִימֹת תִּהְיֶינָה.
usefartem lakhem mimokharat hashabbat miyom havi'akhem et-omer hattenufah sheva shabbatot temimot tihyeynah.
And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the day of rest, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the waving; seven weeks shall there be complete;
16.
עַד מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת הַשְּׁבִיעִת, תִּסְפְּרוּ חֲמִשִּׁים יוֹם; וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם מִנְחָה חֲדָשָׁה, לַיהוָה.
ad mimokharat hashabbat hashvi'it tisperu chamishim yom vehikravtem minchah chadashah laYHWH.
even unto the morrow after the seventh week shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall present a new meal-offering unto the LORD.
17.
מִמּוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם תָּבִיאּוּ לֶחֶם תְּנוּפָה, שְׁתַּיִם שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים--סֹלֶת תִּהְיֶינָה, חָמֵץ תֵּאָפֶינָה: בִּכּוּרִים, לַיהוָה.
mimmoshvoteikhem tavi'u lekhem tenufah, shetayim shenei esronim--solet tihyeynah, khametz te'afeinah: bikkurim, laAdonai.
Ye shall bring out of your dwellings two wave-loaves of two tenth parts of an ephah; they shall be of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven, for first-fruits unto the LORD.
18.
וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עַל-הַלֶּחֶם, שִׁבְעַת כְּבָשִׂים תְּמִימִם בְּנֵי שָׁנָה, וּפַר בֶּן-בָּקָר אֶחָד, וְאֵילִם שְׁנָיִם: יִהְיוּ עֹלָה, לַיהוָה, וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם, אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ-נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה.
vehikravtem al-halekhem, shiv'at kevasim temimim benei shanah, ufar ben-bakar ehad, ve'eilim shenayim: yihyu olah, laAdonai, uminchatam veniskeihem, isheh reyakh-niyokhakh laAdonai.
And ye shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams; they shall be a burnt-offering unto the LORD, with their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
19.
וַעֲשִׂיתֶם שְׂעִיר-עִזִּים אֶחָד, לְחַטָּאת; וּשְׁנֵי כְבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה, לְזֶבַח שְׁלָמִים.
va'asitem se'ir-izzim ehad, lekhattat; ushinei kevasim benei shanah, lezevakh shelamim.
And ye shall offer one he-goat for a sin-offering, and two he-lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace-offerings.
20.
וְהֵנִיף הַכֹּהֵן אֹתָם עַל לֶחֶם הַבִּכֻּרִים תְּנוּפָה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, עַל-שְׁנֵי, כְּבָשִׂים; קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיוּ לַיהוָה, לַכֹּהֵן.
vehenif hakohen otam al lekhem habikurim tenuphah, liphne YHWH, al-shenei, kevasim; kodesh yihyu lYHWH, lakohen.
And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first-fruits for a wave-offering before the LORD, with the two lambs; they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
21.
וּקְרָאתֶם בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה, מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם--כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ: חֻקַּת עוֹלָם בְּכָל-מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם, לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם.
ukratem be'etsem hayom hazeh, mikra-kodesh yihyeh lakhem--kol-melechet avodah, lo ta'asu: chukat olam bekhol-moshvoteichem, ledoroteichem.
And ye shall make proclamation on the selfsame day; there shall be a holy convocation unto you; ye shall do no manner of servile work; it is a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
22.
וּבְקֻצְרְכֶם אֶת-קְצִיר אַרְצְכֶם, לֹא-תְכַלֶּה פְּאַת שָׂדְךָ בְּקֻצְרֶךָ, וְלֶקֶט קְצִירְךָ, לֹא תְלַקֵּט; לֶעָנִי וְלַגֵּר תַּעֲזֹב אֹתָם, אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
uvekutserkhem et-katsir artsekhem, lo-tekalleh pe'at sadkha bekutserekha, veleket katsirka, lo telaket; le'ani velager ta'azov otam, ani YHWH Eloheichem.
And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corner of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleaning of thy harvest; thou shalt leave them for the poor, and for the stranger: I am the LORD your God.
23.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH el-Mosheh lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
24.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֵאמֹר: בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ, יִהְיֶה לָכֶם שַׁבָּתוֹן--זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה, מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ.
daber el-bnei Yisrael lemor: bachodesh hashvi'i be'echad lachodesh, yihyeh lachem shabaton-zikhron teruah, mikra-kodesh.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest unto you, a memorial proclaimed with the blast of horns, a holy convocation.
25.
כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ; וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה, לַיהוָה.
kol-melechet avodah, lo ta'asu; vehikravtem isheh, laYHWH.
Ye shall do no manner of servile work; and ye shall bring an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
26.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydaber YHWH, el-Moshe lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
27.
אַךְ בֶּעָשׂוֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה יוֹם הַכִּפֻּרִים הוּא, מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם, וְעִנִּיתֶם, אֶת-נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם; וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה, לַיהוָה.
akh be'asor lachodesh hashvi'i hazeh yom hakipurim hu, mikra-kodesh yihyeh lakhem, ve'initem, et-nafshoteikhem; vehikravtem isheh, laYHWH.
Howbeit on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; there shall be a holy convocation unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls; and ye shall bring an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28.
וְכָל-מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ, בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה: כִּי יוֹם כִּפֻּרִים, הוּא, לְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיכֶם, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
vekhol-melakhah lo ta'asu, be'etsem hayom hazeh: ki yom kipurim, hu, lekhafer aleikhem, lifnei YHWH Eloheikhem.
And ye shall do no manner of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD your God.
29.
כִּי כָל-הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹא-תְעֻנֶּה, בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה--וְנִכְרְתָה, מֵעַמֶּיהָ.
ki khol-hanefesh asher lo-te'unneh, be'etzem hayom hazzeh--venikhrethah, me'ammeha.
For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from his people.
30.
וְכָל-הַנֶּפֶשׁ, אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה כָּל-מְלָאכָה, בְּעֶצֶם, הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה--וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי אֶת-הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא, מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּהּ.
vekhol-hanefesh, asher ta'aseh kol-mlekhah, be'etzem, hayom hazzeh--veha'avadti et-hanefesh hahiw, miqerev ammah.
And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any manner of work in that same day, that soul will I destroy from among his people.
31.
כָּל-מְלָאכָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ: חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם, בְּכֹל מֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם.
kol-mlekhah, lo ta'asu: chuqqat olam ledoroteikhem, bekhol moshevoteikhem.
Ye shall do no manner of work; it is a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32.
שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן הוּא לָכֶם, וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת-נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם; בְּתִשְׁעָה לַחֹדֶשׁ, בָּעֶרֶב--מֵעֶרֶב עַד-עֶרֶב, תִּשְׁבְּתוּ שַׁבַּתְּכֶם.
shabat shabbaton hu lakhem, ve'innitem et-nafshotekhem; betish'ah lakhodesh, ba'erev--me'erev ad-erev, tishbetu shabbatkhem.
It shall be unto you a sabbath of solemn rest, and ye shall afflict your souls; in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye keep your sabbath.
33.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
vaydabber YHWH, el-Mosheh lemor.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
34.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֵאמֹר: בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם, לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה, חַג הַסֻּכּוֹת שִׁבְעַת יָמִים, לַיהוָה.
dabber el-bnei Yisrael, lemor: bakhamishah asar yom, lakhodesh hashvii hazeh, chag hassukkot shiv'at yamim, laYHWH.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
35.
בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן, מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ; כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ.
bayom harishon, mikra-kodesh; kol-melechet avoda, lo ta'asu.
On the first day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work.
36.
שִׁבְעַת יָמִים, תַּקְרִיבוּ אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה; בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה, עֲצֶרֶת הִוא--כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ.
shivat yamim, takrivu isheh laYHWH; bayom hashtmini mikra-kodesh yihyeh lachem vehikravtem isheh laYHWH, atzeret hi--kol-melechet avoda, lo ta'asu.
Seven days ye shall bring an offering made by fire unto the LORD; on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall bring an offering made by fire unto the LORD; it is a day of solemn assembly; ye shall do no manner of servile work.
37.
אֵלֶּה מוֹעֲדֵי יְהוָה, אֲשֶׁר-תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ: לְהַקְרִיב אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה, עֹלָה וּמִנְחָה זֶבַח וּנְסָכִים--דְּבַר-יוֹם בְּיוֹמוֹ.
elleh mo'adei YHWH, asher-tikru otam mikra'ei kodesh: lehakriv isheh laYHWH, olah uminchah zevach unesachim--devar-yom beyomo.
These are the appointed seasons of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to bring an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt-offering, and a meal-offering, a sacrifice, and drink-offerings, each on its own day;
38.
מִלְּבַד, שַׁבְּתֹת יְהוָה; וּמִלְּבַד מַתְּנוֹתֵיכֶם, וּמִלְּבַד כָּל-נִדְרֵיכֶם וּמִלְּבַד כָּל-נִדְבֹתֵיכֶם, אֲשֶׁר תִּתְּנוּ, לַיהוָה.
mil'vad shab'tot YHWH umil'vad mat'notekhem umil'vad kol-nidrekhem umil'vad kol-nidvoteikhem asher tit'nu laYHWH.
beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill-offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
39.
אַךְ בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי, בְּאָסְפְּכֶם אֶת-תְּבוּאַת הָאָרֶץ, תָּחֹגּוּ אֶת-חַג-יְהוָה, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים; בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן שַׁבָּתוֹן, וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי שַׁבָּתוֹן.
akh bakhamishah asar yom lakhodesh hashvii be'as'pekhem et-tevuat ha'aretz takhogu et-chag-YHWH shiv'at yamim bayom harishon shabaton uvayom hashmini shabaton.
Howbeit on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruits of the land, ye shall keep the feast of the LORD seven days; on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
40.
וּלְקַחְתֶּם לָכֶם בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן, פְּרִי עֵץ הָדָר כַּפֹּת תְּמָרִים, וַעֲנַף עֵץ-עָבֹת, וְעַרְבֵי-נָחַל; וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם--שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.
ul'kakhtem lakhem bayom harishon p'ri etz hadar kapot tmarim va'anaf etz-abot ve'arvei-nakhal us'makhtem lifnei YHWH Eloheikhem shiv'at yamim.
And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm-trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook, and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
41.
וְחַגֹּתֶם אֹתוֹ חַג לַיהוָה, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה: חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם, בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי תָּחֹגּוּ אֹתוֹ.
ve'hagotem oto khag la'Adonai, shiv'at yamim bashanah: khukat olam ledorotekhem, bakHodesh hashevi'i takhogu oto.
And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year; it is a statute for ever in your generations; ye shall keep it in the seventh month.
42.
בַּסֻּכֹּת תֵּשְׁבוּ, שִׁבְעַת יָמִים; כָּל-הָאֶזְרָח, בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל, יֵשְׁבוּ, בַּסֻּכֹּת.
bassukot teshevu, shiv'at yamim; kol-ha'ezrakh, beyisrael, yeshevu, bassukot.
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are home-born in Israel shall dwell in booths;
43.
לְמַעַן, יֵדְעוּ דֹרֹתֵיכֶם, כִּי בַסֻּכּוֹת הוֹשַׁבְתִּי אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, בְּהוֹצִיאִי אוֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם: אֲנִי, יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
lema'an, yede'u dorotekhem, ki vassukot hoshavti et-bnei Yisrael, behotzi'i otam me'eretz Mitzrayim: ani, Adonai Elohekhem.
that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה, אֶת-מֹעֲדֵי יְהוָה, אֶל-בְּנֵי, יִשְׂרָאֵל.
vaydabber Moshe, et-mo'adei YHWH, el-bnei, Yisrael.
And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the appointed seasons of the LORD.
