1.
וְנֶפֶשׁ, כִּי-תַקְרִיב קָרְבַּן מִנְחָה לַיהוָה--סֹלֶת, יִהְיֶה קָרְבָּנוֹ; וְיָצַק עָלֶיהָ שֶׁמֶן, וְנָתַן עָלֶיהָ לְבֹנָה.
venefesh ki-takriv korban minchah la'Adonai solet yihyeh korbano ve'yatzak aleha shemen ve'natan aleha levonah
And when any one bringeth a meal-offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon.
2.
וֶהֱבִיאָהּ, אֶל-בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֲנִים, וְקָמַץ מִשָּׁם מְלֹא קֻמְצוֹ מִסָּלְתָּהּ וּמִשַּׁמְנָהּ, עַל כָּל-לְבֹנָתָהּ; וְהִקְטִיר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-אַזְכָּרָתָהּ, הַמִּזְבֵּחָה--אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ, לַיהוָה.
ve'hevi'ah el-bnei Aharon hakohenim ve'kamat misham melo kumtso missaltaH u'mishamnaH al kol-levonataH ve'hiktir hakohen et-azkarataH
And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests; and he shall take thereout his handful of the fine flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, together with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall make the memorial-part thereof smoke upon the altar, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
3.
וְהַנּוֹתֶרֶת, מִן-הַמִּנְחָה--לְאַהֲרֹן, וּלְבָנָיו: קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים, מֵאִשֵּׁי יְהוָה.
vehannoteret min-haminkhah le'aharon ulevanav kodesh kodashim me'ishei YHWH.
But that which is left of the meal-offering shall be Aaron's and his sons'; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
4.
וְכִי תַקְרִב קָרְבַּן מִנְחָה, מַאֲפֵה תַנּוּר--סֹלֶת חַלּוֹת מַצֹּת בְּלוּלֹת בַּשֶּׁמֶן, וּרְקִיקֵי מַצּוֹת מְשֻׁחִים בַּשָּׁמֶן.
vekhi takriv korban minkhah ma'afeh tannur solet khallot matzot belulot bashemen urekikei matzot meshukhim bashamen.
And when thou bringest a meal-offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers spread with oil.
5.
וְאִם-מִנְחָה עַל-הַמַּחֲבַת, קָרְבָּנֶךָ--סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן, מַצָּה תִהְיֶה.
ve'im-minkhah al-hamakhavat korbanekha solet belulah bashemen matzah tihyeh.
And if thy offering be a meal-offering baked on a griddle, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
6.
פָּתוֹת אֹתָהּ פִּתִּים, וְיָצַקְתָּ עָלֶיהָ שָׁמֶן; מִנְחָה, הִוא.
patot otah pittim, veyatzakta aleha shamen; minkhah, hi.
Thou shalt break it in pieces, and pour oil thereon; it is a meal-offering.
7.
וְאִם-מִנְחַת מַרְחֶשֶׁת, קָרְבָּנֶךָ--סֹלֶת בַּשֶּׁמֶן, תֵּעָשֶׂה.
ve'im-minchat markheshet, karbanekha--solet bashemen, te'aseh.
And if thy offering be a meal-offering of the stewing-pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
8.
וְהֵבֵאתָ אֶת-הַמִּנְחָה, אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה מֵאֵלֶּה--לַיהוָה; וְהִקְרִיבָהּ, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן, וְהִגִּישָׁהּ, אֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.
veheve'ta et-haminkhah, asher ye'aseh me'eleh--layhuvah; vehikrivah, el-hakohen, vehigishah, el-hamizbe'akh.
And thou shalt bring the meal-offering that is made of these things unto the LORD; and it shall be presented unto the priest, and he shall bring it unto the altar.
9.
וְהֵרִים הַכֹּהֵן מִן-הַמִּנְחָה אֶת-אַזְכָּרָתָהּ, וְהִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחָה--אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ, לַיהוָה.
ve'herim hakohen min-hamincha et-azkaratah, ve'hiktir hamizbechah--isheh reach nichoach, laAdonai.
And the priest shall take off from the meal-offering the memorial-part thereof, and shall make it smoke upon the altar--an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
10.
וְהַנּוֹתֶרֶת, מִן-הַמִּנְחָה--לְאַהֲרֹן, וּלְבָנָיו: קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים, מֵאִשֵּׁי יְהוָה.
ve'hanoteret, min-hamincha--le'Aharon, ule'vanav: kodesh kodashim, me'ishei YHWH.
But that which is left of the meal-offering shall be Aaron's and his sons'; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
11.
כָּל-הַמִּנְחָה, אֲשֶׁר תַּקְרִיבוּ לַיהוָה--לֹא תֵעָשֶׂה, חָמֵץ: כִּי כָל-שְׂאֹר וְכָל-דְּבַשׁ, לֹא-תַקְטִירוּ מִמֶּנּוּ אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה.
kol-hamincha, asher takrivu laAdonai--lo te'aseh, chametz: ki kol-se'or ve'kol-devash, lo-taktiru mimenu isheh laAdonai.
No meal-offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven; for ye shall make no leaven, nor any honey, smoke as an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
12.
קָרְבַּן רֵאשִׁית תַּקְרִיבוּ אֹתָם, לַיהוָה; וְאֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לֹא-יַעֲלוּ, לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ.
korban reshit takrivu otam, laYHWH; ve'el-hammizbeach lo-ya'alu, lere'ach nichoach.
As an offering of first-fruits ye may bring them unto the LORD; but they shall not come up for a sweet savour on the altar.
13.
וְכָל-קָרְבַּן מִנְחָתְךָ, בַּמֶּלַח תִּמְלָח, וְלֹא תַשְׁבִּית מֶלַח בְּרִית אֱלֹהֶיךָ, מֵעַל מִנְחָתֶךָ; עַל כָּל-קָרְבָּנְךָ, תַּקְרִיב מֶלַח.
vekhal-korban minchatkha, bammelach timlach, velo tashbit melach berit Elohekichah, me'al minchatekha; al kol-korbanekha, takriv melach.
And every meal-offering of thine shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meal-offering; with all thy offerings thou shalt offer salt.
14.
וְאִם-תַּקְרִיב מִנְחַת בִּכּוּרִים, לַיהוָה--אָבִיב קָלוּי בָּאֵשׁ, גֶּרֶשׂ כַּרְמֶל, תַּקְרִיב, אֵת מִנְחַת בִּכּוּרֶיךָ.
ve'im-takriv minchat bikkurim, laYHWH--aviv kaluy ba'esh, geres karmel, takriv, et minchat bikkureikha.
And if thou bring a meal-offering of first-fruits unto the LORD, thou shalt bring for the meal-offering of thy first-fruits corn in the ear parched with fire, even groats of the fresh ear.
15.
וְנָתַתָּ עָלֶיהָ שֶׁמֶן, וְשַׂמְתָּ עָלֶיהָ לְבֹנָה; מִנְחָה, הִוא.
venatata aleha shemen, vesamta aleha levona; minha, hi.
And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon; it is a meal-offering.
16.
וְהִקְטִיר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-אַזְכָּרָתָהּ, מִגִּרְשָׂהּ וּמִשַּׁמְנָהּ, עַל, כָּל-לְבֹנָתָהּ--אִשֶּׁה, לַיהוָה.
vehktir hakohen et-azkaratah, migirshah umishmanah, al, kol-levonatah--isheh, lAdonai.
And the priest shall make the memorial-part of it smoke, even of the groats thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
