My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the fierce anger of the LORD.
46.

And let not your heart faint, neither fear ye, for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; for a rumour shall come one year, and after that in another year a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
47.

Ye that have escaped the sword, go ye, stand not still; remember the LORD from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
51.
boshenu ki-shama'nu kherpah, kissetah khelimmah paneinu: ki ba'u zarim, 'al-mikdeshei beit YHWH.
'We are ashamed, because we have heard reproach, confusion hath covered our faces; for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house.'
52.
lakhen hinneh-yamim ba'im, ne'um-YHWH, ufaqadti, 'al-pesileha; uvekhol-'artsah, ye'enok khalal.
Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images; and through all her land the wounded shall groan.
53.
ki-ta'aleh bavel hashamayim, vekhi tvetzer merom 'uzzah: me'itti, yavo'u shodedim lah--ne'um-YHWH.
Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from Me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
54.
qol ze'aqah, mibavel; ve-shever gadol, me'eretz kasdim.
Hark! a cry from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!
55.
ki-shoded YHWH et-bavel, ve'ibad mimenna qol gadol; vehamu gallehem kemayim rabbim, nittan she'on qolam.
For the LORD spoileth Babylon, and destroyeth out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like many waters, the noise of their voice is uttered;
56.
For the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, their bows are shattered; for the LORD is a God of recompenses, He will surely requite.
57.
vehishkartiy sareha vakhamerha pakhoteya usganeha, vegibboreha, veyashunu shenat-'olam, velo yaqitsu: ne'um-hammelekh--YHWH tseva'ot, shemo.
And I will make drunk her princes and her wise men, her governors and her deputies, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
58.
koh-amar YHWH tseva'ot, khomot bavel har'khava 'ar'er tit'ar'ar, ushe'areha hagevohim, ba'esh yitsattu; veyig'u 'ammim bede-riq ule'ummim bede-esh, veya'efu.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts: the broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly overthrown, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the peoples shall labour for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they shall be weary.
59.
haddavar asher-tzivvah Yirmeyahu hannavi, et-srayah ven-neriyah ben-makhseyah, blekhto et-Tzidkiyahu melekh-Yehudah Bavel, bishnat harevit l'malkho; ushrayah, sar m'nukhah.
The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was quartermaster.
60.
vayikhtov Yirmeyahu, et kol-hara'ah asher-tavo el-Bavel--el-sefer echad; et kol-haddvarim ha'eleh, hakhtuvim el-Bavel.
And Jeremiah wrote in one book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.
61.
vayomer Yirmeyahu, el-srayah: k'vo'akha Bavel--v'ra'ita, v'karata et kol-haddvarim ha'eleh.
And Jeremiah said to Seraiah: 'When thou comest to Babylon, then see that thou read all these words,
62.
v'amarta, YHWH attah dibarta el-hammakom hazzeh l'hakhrito, l'vilti h'yot-bo yoshev, l'me'adam v'ad-bhemah: ki-shimmot olam, tihyeh.
and say: O LORD, Thou hast spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
63.
Ve'hayah, khekhallotekha, likro, et-hasefer hazeh; tikshor alav even, vehishlakhto el-tokh Perat.
And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates;
64.
Ve'amarta, kakhah tishka Bavel ve'lo-takum mipnei hara'ah asher anokhi mevi aleha--ve'yaefu: ad-henah, divrei Yirmeyahu.
and thou shalt say: Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise again because of the evil that I will bring upon her; and they shall be weary.' Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
