1.
וְעַתָּה כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה, בֹּרַאֲךָ יַעֲקֹב, וְיֹצֶרְךָ, יִשְׂרָאֵל: אַל-תִּירָא כִּי גְאַלְתִּיךָ, קָרָאתִי בְשִׁמְךָ לִי-אָתָּה.
ve'attah koh-amar YHWH, bora'akha ya'akov, veyotserkha yisrael: al-tira ki ge'altikha, karati veshimkha li-attah.
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, thou art Mine.
2.
כִּי-תַעֲבֹר בַּמַּיִם אִתְּךָ-אָנִי, וּבַנְּהָרוֹת לֹא יִשְׁטְפוּךָ: כִּי-תֵלֵךְ בְּמוֹ-אֵשׁ לֹא תִכָּוֶה, וְלֶהָבָה לֹא תִבְעַר-בָּךְ.
ki-ta'avor bamayim itkha-ani, uvaneharot lo yishtofukha: ki-telekh bemo-esh lo tikaveh, velehava lo tiv'ar-bakh.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

כִּי, אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל, מוֹשִׁיעֶךָ; נָתַתִּי כָפְרְךָ מִצְרַיִם, כּוּשׁ וּסְבָא תַּחְתֶּיךָ.
ki, ani YHWH Elohekha, kedosh Yisrael, moshieykha; natati khafrekha Mitzrayim, kush useva takhteykha.
For I am the LORD thy God, The Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour; I have given Egypt as thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4.
מֵאֲשֶׁר יָקַרְתָּ בְעֵינַי נִכְבַּדְתָּ, וַאֲנִי אֲהַבְתִּיךָ; וְאֶתֵּן אָדָם תַּחְתֶּיךָ, וּלְאֻמִּים תַּחַת נַפְשֶׁךָ.
me'asher yakarta ve'enay nikhbadta, va'ani ahavtikha; ve'eten adam takhteykha, ule'umim takhat nafshekha.
Since thou art precious in My sight, and honourable, and I have loved thee; therefore will I give men for thee, and peoples for thy life.
5.
אַל-תִּירָא, כִּי אִתְּךָ-אָנִי: מִמִּזְרָח אָבִיא זַרְעֶךָ, וּמִמַּעֲרָב אֲקַבְּצֶךָּ.
al-tira, ki itkha-ani: mimmizrakh avi zar'ekha, umimma'arav akavtsekha.
Fear not, for I am with thee; I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6.
אֹמַר לַצָּפוֹן תֵּנִי, וּלְתֵימָן אַל-תִּכְלָאִי; הָבִיאִי בָנַי מֵרָחוֹק, וּבְנוֹתַי מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ.
Omar latzafon teni, uleteiman al-tiklai; havi'i vanay merahוק, uvenotay miktzeh ha'aretz.
I will say to the north: 'Give up,' and to the south: 'Keep not back, bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the end of the earth;
7.
כֹּל הַנִּקְרָא בִשְׁמִי, וְלִכְבוֹדִי בְּרָאתִיו: יְצַרְתִּיו, אַף-עֲשִׂיתִיו.
Kol hanikra vishmi, velikhvodi berativ: yetzartiv, af-asitiv.
Every one that is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yea, I have made him.'
8.
הוֹצִיא עַם-עִוֵּר, וְעֵינַיִם יֵשׁ; וְחֵרְשִׁים, וְאָזְנַיִם לָמוֹ.
Hotsi am-iver, ve'enayim yesh; vechereshim, ve'aznayim lamo.
The blind people that have eyes shall be brought forth, and the deaf that have ears.
9.
כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם נִקְבְּצוּ יַחְדָּו, וְיֵאָסְפוּ לְאֻמִּים--מִי בָהֶם יַגִּיד זֹאת, וְרִאשֹׁנוֹת יַשְׁמִיעֻנוּ; יִתְּנוּ עֵדֵיהֶם וְיִצְדָּקוּ, וְיִשְׁמְעוּ וְיֹאמְרוּ אֱמֶת.
Kol-hagoyim nikbetzu yachdav, veye'asfu le'umim--mi bahem yagid zot, verishonot yashmi'unu; yitnu edehem veyitzdaku, veyishme'u veyomru emet.
All the nations are gathered together, and the peoples are assembled; who among them can declare this, and announce to us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; and let them hear, and say: 'It is truth.'
10.
אַתֶּם עֵדַי נְאֻם-יְהוָה, וְעַבְדִּי אֲשֶׁר בָּחָרְתִּי: לְמַעַן תֵּדְעוּ וְתַאֲמִינוּ לִי וְתָבִינוּ, כִּי-אֲנִי הוּא--לְפָנַי לֹא-נוֹצַר אֵל, וְאַחֲרַי לֹא יִהְיֶה.
Attem eday neum-YHWH, ve'avdi asher bakharti: lemaan tedu vetaaminu li vetavinu, ki-ani hu--lefanay lo-notzar el, ve'akharay lo yihyeh.
Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me there was no God formed, neither shall any be after Me.
11.
אָנֹכִי אָנֹכִי, יְהוָה; וְאֵין מִבַּלְעָדַי, מוֹשִׁיעַ.
Anokhi anokhi, YHWH; ve'ein mibaladay, moshia.
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour.
12.
אָנֹכִי הִגַּדְתִּי וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּי, וְהִשְׁמַעְתִּי--וְאֵין בָּכֶם, זָר; וְאַתֶּם עֵדַי נְאֻם-יְהוָה, וַאֲנִי-אֵל.
Anokhi higadti vehoshati, vehishma'ti--ve'ein bakhem, zar; ve'attem eday neum-YHWH, va'ani-el.
I have declared, and I have saved, and I have announced, and there was no strange god among you; therefore ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and I am God.
13.
גַּם-מִיּוֹם אֲנִי הוּא, וְאֵין מִיָּדִי מַצִּיל; אֶפְעַל, וּמִי יְשִׁיבֶנָּה.
Gam-miyom ani hu, ve'ein miyadi matzil; efal, umi yeshivenah.
Yea, since the day was I am He, and there is none that can deliver out of My hand; I will work, and who can reverse it?
14.
כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה גֹּאַלְכֶם, קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל: לְמַעַנְכֶם שִׁלַּחְתִּי בָבֶלָה, וְהוֹרַדְתִּי בָרִיחִים כֻּלָּם, וְכַשְׂדִּים, בָּאֳנִיּוֹת רִנָּתָם.
koh-amar YHWH go'alkhem, qedosh Yisrael: lema'ankhem shillachti Bavelah, vehorodti varichim kullam, vekhasdim, ba'oniyot rinnatam.
Thus saith the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their shouting.
15.
אֲנִי יְהוָה, קְדוֹשְׁכֶם; בּוֹרֵא יִשְׂרָאֵל, מַלְכְּכֶם.
Ani YHWH, qedoshkhem; bore Yisrael, malkkhem.
I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
16.
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה, הַנּוֹתֵן בַּיָּם דָּרֶךְ, וּבְמַיִם עַזִּים, נְתִיבָה.
Koh amar YHWH, hannoten bayam darekh, uvmayim azzim, netivah.
Thus saith the LORD, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17.
הַמּוֹצִיא רֶכֶב-וָסוּס, חַיִל וְעִזּוּז; יַחְדָּו יִשְׁכְּבוּ בַּל-יָקוּמוּ, דָּעֲכוּ כַּפִּשְׁתָּה כָבוּ.
Hamotsi rekhekh-vasus, chayil ve'izzuz; yachdav yishkevu bal-yaqumu, da'akhu kaffishtah khavu.
Who bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power--they lie down together, they shall not rise, they are extinct, they are quenched as a wick:
18.
אַל-תִּזְכְּרוּ, רִאשֹׁנוֹת; וְקַדְמֹנִיּוֹת, אַל-תִּתְבֹּנָנוּ.
al-tizkeru, rishonot; vekadmoniyot, al-titbonanu.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19.
הִנְנִי עֹשֶׂה חֲדָשָׁה עַתָּה תִצְמָח, הֲלוֹא תֵּדָעוּהָ; אַף אָשִׂים בַּמִּדְבָּר דֶּרֶךְ, בִּישִׁמוֹן נְהָרוֹת.
hineni oseh chadashah attah ttzmach, halo teda'uh; af asim bamidbar derekh, bishimon neharot.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20.
תְּכַבְּדֵנִי חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה, תַּנִּים וּבְנוֹת יַעֲנָה: כִּי-נָתַתִּי בַמִּדְבָּר מַיִם, נְהָרוֹת בִּישִׁימֹן, לְהַשְׁקוֹת, עַמִּי בְחִירִי.
tekabdeni chayyat hasadeh, tannim ubenot ya'anah: ki-natati bamidbar mayim, neharot bishimon, lehashkot, ammi vechiri.
The beasts of the field shall honour Me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, Mine elect;
21.
עַם-זוּ יָצַרְתִּי לִי, תְּהִלָּתִי יְסַפֵּרוּ.
am-zu yatzarti li, tehilati yesaperu.
The people which I formed for Myself, that they might tell of My praise.
22.
וְלֹא-אֹתִי קָרָאתָ, יַעֲקֹב: כִּי-יָגַעְתָּ בִּי, יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ve'lo-oti karata, Ya'akov; ki-yagata bi, Yisrael.
Yet thou hast not called upon Me, O Jacob, neither hast thou wearied thyself about Me, O Israel.
23.
לֹא-הֵבֵיאתָ לִּי שֵׂה עֹלֹתֶיךָ, וּזְבָחֶיךָ לֹא כִבַּדְתָּנִי; לֹא הֶעֱבַדְתִּיךָ בְּמִנְחָה, וְלֹא הוֹגַעְתִּיךָ בִּלְבוֹנָה.
lo-heveita li seh oloteykha, uzevacheykha lo kibadtani; lo he'evadtikha beminchah, ve'lo hogatikha bilvonah.
Thou hast not brought Me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings; neither hast thou honoured Me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with a meal-offering, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
24.
לֹא-קָנִיתָ לִּי בַכֶּסֶף קָנֶה, וְחֵלֶב זְבָחֶיךָ לֹא הִרְוִיתָנִי; אַךְ, הֶעֱבַדְתַּנִי בְּחַטֹּאותֶיךָ, הוֹגַעְתַּנִי, בַּעֲוֺנֹתֶיךָ.
lo-kanita li vakhesef kaneh, ve'khelev zevacheykha lo hirvitani; akh, he'evadtani bekhatoteykha, hogattani, ba'avonoteykha.
Thou hast bought Me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou satisfied Me with the fat of thy sacrifices; but thou hast burdened Me with thy sins, thou hast wearied Me with thine iniquities.
25.
אָנֹכִי אָנֹכִי הוּא מֹחֶה פְשָׁעֶיךָ, לְמַעֲנִי: וְחַטֹּאתֶיךָ, לֹא אֶזְכֹּר.
anokhi anokhi hu mokheh fsha'eykha, lema'ani: ve'khatoteykha, lo ezkor.
I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake; and thy sins I will not remember.
26.
הַזְכִּירֵנִי, נִשָּׁפְטָה יָחַד; סַפֵּר אַתָּה, לְמַעַן תִּצְדָּק.
hazkireni, nishapetah yakhad; saper attah, lema'an ttzdak.
Put Me in remembrance, let us plead together; declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
27.
אָבִיךָ הָרִאשׁוֹן, חָטָא; וּמְלִיצֶיךָ, פָּשְׁעוּ בִי.
avikha harishon, khata; umelitseykha, pash'u vi.
Thy first father sinned, and thine intercessors have transgressed against Me.
28.
וַאֲחַלֵּל, שָׂרֵי קֹדֶשׁ; וְאֶתְּנָה לַחֵרֶם יַעֲקֹב, וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְגִדּוּפִים.
va'akhalel, sare kodesh; ve'etnah lakherem ya'akov, veyisrael legidufim.
Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and I have given Jacob to condemnation, and Israel to reviling.
