1.
וַיַּעַל מֹשֶׁה מֵעַרְבֹת מוֹאָב, אֶל-הַר נְבוֹ, רֹאשׁ הַפִּסְגָּה, אֲשֶׁר עַל-פְּנֵי יְרֵחוֹ; וַיַּרְאֵהוּ יְהוָה אֶת-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ אֶת-הַגִּלְעָד, עַד-דָּן.
vaya'al Moshe me'arvot Mo'av, el-har Nevo, rosh hapisgah, asher al-pene Yerecho; vayra'ehu YHWH et-kol-ha'aretz et-hagil'ad, ad-dan.
And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land, even Gilead as far as Dan;
2.
וְאֵת, כָּל-נַפְתָּלִי, וְאֶת-אֶרֶץ אֶפְרַיִם, וּמְנַשֶּׁה; וְאֵת כָּל-אֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה, עַד הַיָּם הָאַחֲרוֹן.
ve'et kol-naftali ve'et-eretz efrayim umenasheh ve'et kol-eretz yehudah ad hayam ha'aharon
and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the hinder sea;

וְאֶת-הַנֶּגֶב, וְאֶת-הַכִּכָּר בִּקְעַת יְרֵחוֹ עִיר הַתְּמָרִים--עַד-צֹעַר.
ve'et-hanegev ve'et-hakikar bikat yereho ir hatmarim ad-tzoar
and the South, and the Plain, even the valley of Jericho the city of palm-trees, as far as Zoar.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלָיו, זֹאת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב לֵאמֹר, לְזַרְעֲךָ, אֶתְּנֶנָּה; הֶרְאִיתִיךָ בְעֵינֶיךָ, וְשָׁמָּה לֹא תַעֲבֹר.
vayomer YHWH elayiv zot ha'aretz asher nishbati le'avraham leyitzchak uleya'akov lemor lezar'acha etenennah her'iticha ve'eineicha veshamma lo ta'avor
And the LORD said unto him: 'This is the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying: I will give it unto thy seed; I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.'

וַיָּמָת שָׁם מֹשֶׁה עֶבֶד-יְהוָה, בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב--עַל-פִּי יְהוָה.
vayamat sham moshe eved-YHWH be'eretz mo'av al-pi YHWH
So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
6.
וַיִּקְבֹּר אֹתוֹ בַגַּי בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב, מוּל בֵּית פְּעוֹר; וְלֹא-יָדַע אִישׁ אֶת-קְבֻרָתוֹ, עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה.
vayikbor oto vagay be'eretz Mo'av, mul beit Pe'or; velo-yada ish et-kevurato, ad hayom hazeh.
And he was buried in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth-peor; and no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7.
וּמֹשֶׁה, בֶּן-מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה--בְּמֹתוֹ; לֹא-כָהֲתָה עֵינוֹ, וְלֹא-נָס לֵחֹה.
umosheh, ben-me'ah ve'esrim shanah--bemoto; lo-kahatah eno, velo-nas leho.
And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
8.
וַיִּבְכּוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת-מֹשֶׁה בְּעַרְבֹת מוֹאָב, שְׁלֹשִׁים יוֹם; וַיִּתְּמוּ, יְמֵי בְכִי אֵבֶל מֹשֶׁה.
vayivku venei Yisrael et-mosheh be'arvot Mo'av, sheloshim yom; vayittemu, yemei vekhi evel mosheh.
And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; so the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.
9.
וִיהוֹשֻׁעַ בִּן-נוּן, מָלֵא רוּחַ חָכְמָה--כִּי-סָמַךְ מֹשֶׁה אֶת-יָדָיו, עָלָיו; וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ אֵלָיו בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּעֲשׂוּ, כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת-מֹשֶׁה.
vihoshua bin-nun, male ruach chakhmah--ki-samakh mosheh et-yadav, alayiv; vayishme'u elayiv benei-Yisrael vaya'asu, ka'asher tzivvah YHWH et-mosheh.
And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him; and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
10.
וְלֹא-קָם נָבִיא עוֹד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל, כְּמֹשֶׁה, אֲשֶׁר יְדָעוֹ יְהוָה, פָּנִים אֶל-פָּנִים.
velo-kam navi od beyisrael, kemoshe, asher yeda'o YHWH, panim el-panim.
And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face;
11.
לְכָל-הָאֹתֹת וְהַמּוֹפְתִים, אֲשֶׁר שְׁלָחוֹ יְהוָה, לַעֲשׂוֹת, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם--לְפַרְעֹה וּלְכָל-עֲבָדָיו, וּלְכָל-אַרְצוֹ.
lekhal-ha'otot vehammoftim, asher shelakho YHWH, la'asot, be'eretz mitzrayim--lefar'oh ulekhal-avadav, ulekhal-artzo.
in all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land;
12.
וּלְכֹל הַיָּד הַחֲזָקָה, וּלְכֹל הַמּוֹרָא הַגָּדוֹל, אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה מֹשֶׁה, לְעֵינֵי כָּל-יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ulekhol hayad hakhazaqah, ulekhol hammora hagadol, asher asah moshe, le'einei khal-yisrael.
and in all the mighty hand, and in all the great terror, which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.
